Reviews for Odalys Le Rond Point Des Pistes
Review 1:11 euro for each sheet. 6 euro for a towel. The hotel smelt funny. dated fixture. The picture on the website is one of the hotels that makes up the hotel, not where we stayed.
Review 2:Location is perfect, lifts on the door step. Close to the bars and shops. Staff at reception very helpful.
Review 3:There was a 2hr wait to check in, but they claimed a computer problem, so this may not be usual. The appartment was not well appointed or clean. Seems that the occupants do the cleaning on check-out! Also nothing except blankets and pillows is supplied, and this is NOT made clear on the booking site. There was no toilet paper, soap, towels or cleaning products in the appartment! The detergent we bought at the shop was removed from the room by staff when we checked out! The bath was grubby and the shower was attached very low over the bath, making showering difficult. Beware tall people, the beds are very short! Our 2 boys are both over 6', so sleeping in the bunks was interesting!
Review 4:Close to ski lifts and hire, also convenience store adjacent. Nice view of area from our room. There was hot water and the heating in the rooms worked
Review 5:No television unless you pay extra which is not mentioned by Booking.com. Shower tray very small with a good chance of knocking the mixer tap lever leading to scolding hot or freezing cold water. No indication as to where you check in.
Review 6:Right by the ski lifts. Room nice and warm.
Review 7:The room was not dirty, but neither was it clean. The lights did not work in the bathroom or on the mezzinine. There was limited hanging space and storage space for food.
Review 8:Location was excellent, in close proximity to the lifts.
Review 9:Tiny tiny and uncomfortable. Beds are not actually beds but a small couch that supposed to sleep 2! You can't turn in the place!
Review 10:Location
Review 11:No internet accexx
Review 12:Great location near pists
Review 13:the halls and entrance to the blocks were generally messy
Review 14:IT was right on the slopes and far enough away from the main bars so not to be disturbed
Review 15:filthy, one person has to sleep on a trundle bed- basically on the floor. No double beds.
Review 16:close to piste
Review 17:- Small rooms- smell of smoke in the room - filthy bathroom - not well cleaned dishes - indifferent staff
Review 18:+ Position+ close to the slopes + close to the grocery store + easy to find
Review 19:check in was really painful, the reception is closed from 12pm to 2pm. and sometimes is longer depend on the date. the room was not ready until 5pm and they don't provide a place to put the luggages. we arrived around noon so had to wait with out luggages. in the room only has a sofa which can pull out become 2 single bed. basically one person has to sleep on the floor.
Review 20:location is great! right next to the ski slope and chair lifts.
Review 21:i have absolutely no complaint, for such a price, the flat was small but it is to be expected in a ski station.
Review 22:location : 30sec away from the slopes flat was clean and well-equipped (hair dryer would be perfect) staff was friendly
Review 23:As a couple, I had booked an apartment for 4 as they are quite small. The extra room with the bunk beds, which was used as a dressing roommade the stay much more comfortable, but obviously a larger roomsmeans more expense. At least this meant that we did not have to put upthe sofa bed every morning and get it out every night. If you arehappy to do this, then you'll be ok with a smaller studio -that's just a personal choice. You will be required to leave adeposit and the arrangements are that you clean your own appartmentbefore you leave. If this isn't done, or there are breakages, theymake a charge. Unfortunately, the staff are rather overrun onchangeover day and don't have the time for a minute inspection, soyou are rather dependent on the fastidiousness of the outgoing tenant.Once my wife had had a go at everything with a bottle of cif, weenjoyed the rest of our stay.
Review 24:The location could not be bettered. Our appartment was at the front ofthe block, overlooking the piste with a chair lift across the road. There are 4 chair lifts and a funicular within 50 metres of the door. The ski area is magnificent with something for everyone and, because ofthe altitude, excellent quality snow, even late in the season. There isa small, well stocked supermarket just across the road and a verywelcoming bar/restraunt in the same building at the foot of theslopes. There is parking (although quite expensive) directly in front ofthe building.
Review 25:It was really cold during the night. So heater doesn't help even. And it wasn't that much cold outside because it was the beginning of April.
Review 26:Close to lifts, ok room.
Review 27:room was dirty and cutlery and dishes had not been properly washed upon our arrival, insultingly 'budget', not appropriate for families nor couples desiring a relaxing time. This is more of a backpacker type of accommodation. A queue of approx. 45 at check in.
Review 28:location
Review 29:The room was much smaller than expected. The description stated separateseating area, but there was just a very small room with a couch with atrundle bed and a table and 2 chairs. Building was in poor condition andthe bathroom smelled like something died in the wall. The wereadditional charges for linens, tv and cleaning that I don't believe werecalled out in the property description.
Review 30:The location was just a couple hundred meters from a few ski lifts.
Review 31:Corridors are a little smelly (cigarette smoke) Need a bigger room next time as my sons are getting too big for the small rooms now.
Review 32:Good budget accomdation. Been there three years now, excellent access to slopes.
Review 33:Concern of hotel Rond Point Des Pistes itself I have no negatiivecomments. Concern of the Skeresort as a whole I would like to point outthe luck of information about the slopes condition. Certainly after orduring the hard snow fallsdown it is not easy, nevertheless it seemsthat when a slope opens after anty-avelanch treatment at least one-twopuss of ratruck is necessary. Otherwise it comes of real "freeride" (onetime I have got on the top of rout 5 the needs to go through up to halfmeter of fresh snow). Also it seems resonable to introduce single waydown skeepuss tickets at least for senyors, because for such conditions1 way down for 31 Euro seems unreasonably costly
Review 34:This hotel has very good position: the nearest to the lifts for skeeng. It provide the possibility to skee at any time of day with the break forthe rest just in your own room. For me (81 year old) and my wife (71year old) it was very convenient and important because after two-threeruns down along our likest slope (red route 5) we needed and were ableto get the good rest. Also it allows to chose for skeeing the goodweather even if it is only a part of day (if like at this visit from15.04 till 27.04 it was rather unstable: it was only two full sunny daysand three sunny halfdays within two weeks)
Review 35:There is no ski in, ski out in this hotel, however the ski liftsare close. The rooms are extremely small. The local tax is not 1 Euro as mentioned. We were charged more than 20 Euro per couple, per week. The bed lines are not included, for couple is 20 Euro extra. If you wish to watch TV in the room you have to pay 7.5 Euro per day. The entrance to residence is hard to find. The reception is located in small, overcrowded room, be prepared to wait outside, for 30 minutes to be served. Of course there is no place to seat during waiting.
Review 36:Location is good, close to ski lift.
Review 37:Very pokey little room
Review 38:Location of building to the ski lifts
Review 39:Main lift out of action all week and second lift out for 2 days
Review 40:Location, shops and bars near by, access in and out easy
Review 41:Close to the lifts. Excellent location
Review 42:Location is great! Just 2 minutes from ski lifts and bus station.
