Situated in the coastal town of Cromer, 23 miles north of Norwich, the 19th-century Wellington House B&B is 2 minutes’ walk from the sandy beach. Exclusively for adults, it retains charming old features, and free internet is available in public areas.

Review 1:Everything The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms delightful, comfortable and enormous beautiful bathroom. A little gem in Cromer!

Review 2:Although location near to the seafront its in a rather dingy back street next to a pub. Fan/vent in bathroom rattled opening and closing waking me up in the night. Expensive for an off season night,about £65 max would be more realistic.

Review 6:Our room was spacious and comfortable with an enormous bathroom and the breakfast was excellent. We were given a genuinely warm but never intrusive welcome and would certainly stay there again.

Review 8:Everything! The location was perfect, by the sea. The lady running it is really welcoming and helpful. The room was so lovely and so cosy and the bed so comfy! The room contained all the facilities (kettle, hair-drier, etc) you've expect and more (the biscuits were amazing by the way!). The breakfast was really tasty and served fast.

Review 9:Very welcoming, the rooms were well equipped with little extras eg toiletries and a flannel, plenty of choice on the tea coffee tray and even hot chocolate and cookies. Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and hot, nothing was too much trouble. A little gem in a great location.

Review 11:An elegant and tastefully decorated house in the centre of Cromer. Thoughtful touches in the guests rooms like fresh coffee and cafeteria, bottle opener and wine glasses, wine cooler on the landing. Huge breakfast including a substantial fresh fruit salad. Karen and Richard are marvellous hosts.

Review 12:We both loved everything about this lovelly B&B. The rooms were amazing, spacious and cozy at the same time. It was lovelly and warm even though it's right next to the chilly coast. Food was great, bathroom was INCREDIBLE, everything was so very clean. It really was a home away from home. Highly recomend it, great value for money.

Review 19:Both hosts were very welcoming but not intrusive. Breakfast was cooked to order and superb. Although located next to pub and on a busy street the room was very quiet. Highly recommended.

Review 28:Really good location, easy to get to everything,we took my mum and dad, and they even gave us extra cups to make a cup of tea, they really enjoyed their stay, and would go again.The couple were very helpful nothing too much trouble.

Review 29:We arrived early (did inform owner that this would be the case) but was no problem. Karen very welcoming. Large room with even a bit of a sea view! Huge bathroom. Fabulous welcome tray with fresh coffee, a variety of teas and other drinks and bottled water every day. Breakfast was superb. Full vegetarian English, ( my compliments to the chef who did my egg to perfection) and a great choice of cereals and lots of other cooked choices and great coffee. A good location in the town, close to everything. A tiny bit of noise from street late at night but didn't last long. Sadly docking station wrong fit for our phones but we didn't need to use it anyway. Nice tv with working remote - hurrah. Lovely place and people would highly recommend :)

Thank you Karen (especially for racing out in the morning to buy Jackie some cream for her coffee - way beyond the call of duty! ) and Richard - can't recommend highly enough.

Review 33:Karen our host was welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exceptional with a great choice of cereals, fruit, fish,etc and the cooked to order full English was delicious. Rooms were spotless and bottled water each day was an added bonus. All in all a lovely break.

Review 34:It was a bit noisy Saturday night but it didn't last long and was not to do with the Wellington but the people who had obviously had a good night.

Review 62:On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Karen and shown to our second floor room. The bedroom and very large bathroom were spotlessly clean and the decor was very stylish. Super facilities in the room and gorgeous smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfasts were lovely and the choice immense. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and rage attention we received from the hosts was just perfect. We would highly recommend The Wellington.

Review 67:It is a lovely B&B full of charms and very well located in the heart of Cromer just close to the sea. The owners are very nice and attentive to your needs.

Review 68:Our mattress was somewhat uncomfortable (we have a new one at home) and whilst we were out Karen and Richard changed it over. As she said "I do bed and breakfast and have to get both right". So not really a dislike.

Review 69:Karen could not have done more for us from manhandling our suitcases despite being strapping fellows! She was also happy for us to walk one of their dogs and could not have been any friendliest. The breakfasts were excellent too. We would gladly stay there again.

Review 72:A friendly, helpful welcome, great location right near the pier. Great attention to detail (a jar of biscuits and real coffee to welcome us, towels warming up by the radiator, allergy-friendly pillows as an option to replace the feather ones, wine glasses and a fridge just in case, control over the temperature of the room) and an ENORMOUS bathroom. Helpful advice on where to go for dinner, a magnificent breakfast all freshly cooked - couldn't ask for more.

Review 78:Karen is a very friendly, knowledgeable host who makes sure you have everything you need. Breakfast is very filling with plenty of choices. Location is excellent for the pier and the beach and there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby area

Review 89:Parking away from hotel, but blame the Victorians! We found free side street spot 2 mins walk away so sorted out no problem.

Review 90:The charming Wellington has rooms with historic appeal like the corner fireplace old doors and large bathroom. Karen was friendly and most accommodating at all times. The breakfast was about as perfect as it could be and wonderfully presented and cooked. Have booked again for next year!

Review 110:The Wellington is clean and well run. The room was a good size for a B&B, the bathroom was huge. A home from home, I would definitely recommend it.
