Reviews for Hôtel Résidence les Servages

Review 1:It's quite a long walk from the town of an evening.

Review 2:Lovely and clean, Marie-Claire very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for the snow. Guests have their own lockable room for leaving ski equipment. Garage for car.

Review 3:Would have liked a mini fridge. WiFi in the room was not great.

Review 4:Position close to piste was perfect as we were able to snowboard to and from the hotel. Marie Claire was very friendly and accommodating with breakfast and extending our time allowed in the room on the check out day.

Review 5:The rooms were more basic than we'd expected with no proper shower facility (a bath and a shower head only). Plus no UK TV Channels. Only my new iPad could get wi-fi in our room (could do with hotel-wide wi-fi installing if no UK TV channels). None of this a problem for a few nights like us, but would be a pain if there were kids / staying for a week. A 15 min walk to town down a long hill. Great for us as we like to walk off food, but just bear in mind. All are minor in the grand scheme of things, but do prevent 5 stars.

Review 6:Marie Claire was fantastic. She couldn't do enough for us and made the stay (as per other reviews on here and elsewhere). The rooms were the cleanest i've stayed in - absolute spotless. The ski in / out location was great as it was just the two of us (no kids this time).

Review 7:Almost missed return flight as we were not reminded of clock change when settling up the night before.

Review 8:The ease of access to slopes and cosy Carroz eateries. The cleanliness of the spacious apartment, and large individual drying room for wet gear.

Review 9:Would have liked a mini fridge. Other than that- perfect.

Review 10:Had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay- no frills/ no fuss but no excess expense either !

Review 11:It's a long walk down the mountain to buy a bottle of water / don't leave it until after 7pm as shop is shut. Wifi sketchy at best. Ice on concrete stairs outside is dangerous. Food generally expensive everywhere here.

Review 12:Clean and tidy. Marie Claire friendly and helpful.

Review 13:We stayed at this hotel last year and this year in August. Both visits were very pleasant. Last year, we asked the owner to rent us an apartament to organize the birthday party, and there was no problem with that, free of charge. This year, although the weather in the area was rather cool, we were kept warm, as our fireplace was lit all the time. Hotel has charming and beautiful views. WiFi working well in the rooms. The staff, especially Mr Ives, very helpful and nice person. We hope to be returning to the place every year if possible. Thank you for making us feel at home.

Review 14:We traveled for a ski holiday. It was a great location for it. About a 15 minute walk to the center of town and longer returning back due to the uphill but there was a free shuttle about 6 – 7 times a day. Rooms were spotless but the most important part of it all was the manageress of the hotel, Mrs Marie. She was always around and always more than helpful. I think that she should get most of the credit for our wonderful stay there. Thank you very much. Eric.

Review 15:Long walk to village but free ski bus until 7pm

Review 16:Ski in/out Personal changing room for kit. Big room Good views Friendly owner

Review 17:On the slopes Lovely Marie Claire View of mountains and sunset

Review 18:Poor bus link to village, infrequent in the afternoon and non existent after 6pm

Review 19:Position close to piste was a delight

Review 20:Too far out of town This hotel is a bus ride away from the restraunts in town

Review 21:Good access to the piste

Review 22:No boot Warner's. Bus service.

Review 23:Nice feel

Review 24:It would have been nice to have milk as well as tea and coffee in the room.

Review 25:Great room, access to the slopes, friendly manager and staff value for money.

Review 26:Twin beds not double.

Review 27:Excellent access to ski area. Good sized room, extremely helpful and welcoming owner. Peaceful location, accessible to village (15 min walk or free shuttle bus). Daily delivery from local baker of fresh bread/croissants.

Review 28:Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, high standard accommodation. One of very few ski in/ski out from doorstep locations in Les Carroz. Very helpful and accommodating management.

Review 29:I felt the reviews on trip advisor really undersold what was a great hotel for a ski weekend.

Review 30:Marie Claire could not have been more accomodating or helpful. Arranging the ski-shop to pick us up in the morning and get us fitted then returning us to Hotel to truely Ski-In and Ski-Out. Marie Claire also organised for the basic provisions to be stocked in the kitchen as we arrived late and fresh croissants to be delivered each morning. It was so great my boyfriend cut his losses on the place he booked and stayed at Les Carroz d'Araches the following night. There was also fresh wood to make an open fire and having the apartment gave us a place to really relax after a day on the slopes. Was a short walk and a long stumble back from town but with limited taxis in the area location was close enough to get around.

Review 31:Excellent rooms. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good TV although no English channels. Ski in/ski out. Ten minute walk into town in the evening. Marie-Claire is very friendly and helpful.

Review 32:Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities for skiing as it is a genuine ski in ski out hotel. Rooms are a good size, clean and well maintained.

Review 33:Situated right next to the piste. Beautiful view from our room. Marie Claire made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
