Reviews for Auberge Le Cheval Blanc

Review 1:Nowhere to sit inside in the evening other than in your room unless you were dining. Rooms were small and showers not suitable for anyone 6 feet or over due to sloping roof.

Review 2:Excellent and friendly staff. Convenient location.

Review 3:Lovely little village with all the amenities you need, including a bar next door!! The owner and all staff were really friendly. Dinner and breakfast were great. Loved it.

Review 4:We were so pleased with the hotel and the evening meal, it would have taken a major incident to put us off the hotel.

Review 5:the staff were very friendly and welcoming, also very helpful. Bedrooms are off a small pretty courtyard which must be lovely to sit in over breakfast or a drink in summer. Our room would also have suited disabled guests with flat access from the street, walk-in shower, disabled toilet. Easy parking in church carpark opposite. The food is itself a reason to stay at this hotel - lovely choice of set price menus + a la carte. Divine food (Benedictine soufflé to die for), excellent wine, and equally excellent service in a small intimate restaurant, though I noticeD they can also cater for larger parties in a separate room.

Review 6:We had to drag large suitcases up a very small set of stairs in the rain.

Review 7:The breakfast was great! There was internet and the TV had good local programs. The room was nice and cost at just the right temperature.

Review 8:It was a charming town, the Inn was lovely, the countryside beautiful, the staff was warm and welcoming and knowledgeable of things around the area. There is a bakery two doors down with amazing treats; a lovely restaurant next door; everything you would need for a pleasant visit.

Review 9:Cozy small hotel, clean and quite big room, nice staff, tasty breakfast, especially, I liked homemade jam:)

Review 18:Je suis anglais je prefere ecrire en anglais! The reception we had in this hotel was superb we were very late arriving and the patron was very charming to us and prepared us a snack and was very charming about doing it, it was as if we were visiting friends! I would recommend this establishment to anyone and the breakfast was superb.

Review 19:No soap provided. Noise of bathroom from room above. Refill of coffee at breakfast would have been welcome.

Review 20:Warm and friendly welcome. English spoken. Quiet village location. Good continental breakfast.

Review 21:The room is tiny. Moreover, half of it has a slantwise ceiling. Youcannot approach the mirror in the bathroom or your suitcase on the floorwithout the risk of banging your head against the wall. The bed linen ofpoor quality. There is only a bathtub, no shower curtain, which makestaking a shower a challenge. The colours and decorations are a disaster. One would not like to spend a spare minute in that room.

Review 22:A quiet place, easy to reach the coast. Plenty of tourist informationon various attractions and sites. We did not take breakfast, socannot comment.

Review 23:very expensive restaurant, poor value for money, and no other choice nearby

Review 24:Nice small hotel close to Honfleur and Deauville. Room in well decorated chalet in the garden.

Review 25:Town is calm. Nothing to do.

Review 26:Staff was very friendly.

Review 27:Very impressed. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Would loved to have stayed longer although we did stay an estra night.

Review 28:our room was tiny and kept bumping head on eaves - far too small for the price we paid - shame!
