Review 1：Generally satisfied but the way Internet access is managed damages positive first impression. In my experience, in 2015, it is rare not to have Internet access included in the price. This is out of date. Then having to pay 10€ to be able to connect a single device is ridiculous. On top of that, we understood that 1 connection was included if we booked online only to find out that this only applies for bookings done on the Croix de Savoie own website. This gave us the impression of being sucked for extra money as Internet connection is such a common requirement. We found this rather immature. Internet connection should be included in the price, anytime, for an unlimited number of devices. This is what hotel customers expect in 2015.
Review 2：- Comfort of the room - Good restaurant
Review 3：It's a nice quiet hotel, situated next to a bus stop. The rooms were okay, but tiny. Our bed consisted of two mattresses that kept sliding apart. We called the hole in between "the moat", and one of us was constantly in it. The sliding door to the shower didn't close all the way, which was not fantastic, but not a deal breaker. The staff were friendly but didn't speak almost any English. The ski storage could have used boot warmers.apart from that it was nice, albeit pricey.
Review 4：Paying for Wifi in the room. We have used many hotels and find charging for Wifi unusual. Maybe other hotels invisibly include it in their room charges. Most people use it at some time so making it free would not benefit some patrons and not others.

Review 12：Paid Wifi...I mean which hotel today asks you to pay for Wifi!!! Expensive when you arrive in the evening and need to work - you pay for a day! Am presently in Vietnam and it's been free all the way! Food very expensive in the restaurant, and portions relatively small, however is prepared well. No one had put the heating on in the room before arriving...had to wait a long time after requesting for it to be put on. Worst breakfast I(ve had in a hotel for a VERY long time. Have stayed before and was able to have eggs, cured ham, etc....this time round a few pieces of bread and the bottom of the jam pots -great when you hate 'sweet' breakfasts. The waiter/receptionist simply didn't care. Another business guy had the same feeling.

Review 14：Location - too far out of town, 25 min walk to restaurants and centre and steep slope back to hotel. Situated amongst houses, not seen on photos. Owners - not flexible. Booked for 2 nights on the day before arrival. Hotel very empty of residents. On first day requested a refund for second night, owners refused, blaming booking.com for not allowing to cancel. We did not stay for a second night and the owners retained the second night payment of 111 euros.
