Reviews for Les Moulins Du Duc
Review 1:Nothing!
Review 2:The millhouse is by a lake surrounded with trees, there is an island with an alpaca grazing, and ducks on the lake who come to be fed. Two delightful kittens made friends with us over a cocktail in the garden. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, the atmosphere of the place is calm and the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious and we watched a heron by the bank of the river fishing while we dined. We shall definitely come back sometime.
Review 3:This has put us off 'standard' rooms for ever. Ours was a longish walk from the main building and very unattractive, the furniture etc looked second hand.
Review 4:This is a very pretty place all round, the staff were most helpful
Review 5:Nothing to complain about but a little expensive.
Review 6:Beautiful rural setting with an excellent bedroom. Presentation and quality of food for dinner and breakfast was very good. Staff were very attentive.
Review 7:Overly fancy dining with mediocre food. Incredibly long wait for dinner, sentenced to sit in a lounge with a tid bit or two from last weeks frozen stuff. More than an hour waiting just to be seated. I hate to think what would have happened if they had had some customers. Fortunately there were only a hand full of us.Fawlty Towers all over again. And the breakfast that was promised -- buffet with lots of this and that -- was no buffet at all, just some old, cheap bread and a tired croissant, some bottled juice. Not enough jam and not even decent coffee. Pitiful.
Review 8:They have squandered a great opportunity to use a potentially splendid setting. Our newly rebuilt suite was expensive but extremely poorly built and decorated. Cheap materials, amateur construction, no charm, no class. Very poor value of the price. They didn't even provide a waste basket.
Review 9:It was very expensive for what it was, and the taste level in the overall decoration of the property was questionable.,
Review 10:Beautiful setting, but pretty far out in left field. The food was good, but not so good that we would go back. We ate there two nights, there was some repetition on some of the courses.
Review 11:Pricy. Room rate without breakfast. Not all radiators working. Floor had not been vacuumed. No toiletries refill on second day. Swimming pool a bit far away in the cold weather.
Review 12:Lovely grounds, very tranquil. Menus excellent, food delicious.
Review 13:A marvellous setting with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. The evening meals were first class; the owner is an excellent chef who went out of his way to provide gluten free alternatives where needed
Review 14:Food - only gourmet dining No less formal choice for dining
Review 15:Accommodation Animal friendly Staff helpful & friendly Beautiful surroundings
Review 16:The food at the restaurant Raphael is the best we've ever tasted! Stayed at the hotel last year and just had to go back for the food.
