Reviews for Domaine de Saint Palais
Review 1:Staff were friendly courteous and well informed. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Externally the property was delightful. Breakfast copious and very enjoyable. A big plus would have been a bar so we could have had a glass of wine in the evening in the beautiful outdoor setting.
Review 2:Nothing really. Maybe a hot tub in courtyard would be nice?
Review 3:Good location for us. Good walk into town, some may find a bit too far. But plenty of parking if you go to town in car.
Review 4:Everything was wonderful!
Review 5:If you are down this part of France, don't miss the opportunity to stay at the Domaine de St Palais! It's a magnificent 17th Century Chateau, converted to a very posh B & B! The price was ridiculously low and the experience was AMAZING!! Take your own wine and sit out in the beautiful floodlit courtyard - it was a magical experience!
Review 6:I can not recommend this hotel enough their customer service is excellent the hotel grounds and building are beautiful . Great location for beach . Rooms Devine you can really see the owners have paid attention to detail . But most of all how friendly and welcoming they are we will be back and highly recommend to everyone
Review 7:Shower tap was stiff. Staff accepted there was a problem and gave us one day's breakfast for free.
Review 8:Lovely internal courtyard made for a great place to sit and relax.
Review 9:the Hotel was clean and inviting. The proprietor and her daughter were extremely helpful, especially with my wife's dietary requirement. Had the best nights sleep that I have had in a longtime
Review 10:Now squeezed between tourist caravan parks and a multitude of holiday chalet bungalows. It must be overrun in July and August.
Review 11:Elegant small former manor house and recently renovated. I think we were the only quests that night. Great spot for weddings and family parties etc.
Review 12:Amazing welcome and friendly service given - nothing too much trouble. Tasteful decor throughout and spotlessly clean - bedding and towels changed daily. Good continental breakfast but , sadly, no restaurant for evening meal or indoor lounge facility. Several quality outdoor seating areas giving sun or shade and privacy.
Review 13:No egg cups at breakfast. (very English habit)
Review 14:Beautifully landscaped with many private sitting areas in a large courtyard where we were served a cool orange juice on arrival. A dinner reservation was made for us at a wonderful restaurant we would not have found for ourselves.
Review 15:What a beautiful location with excellent and accommodating staff. Not far from the beach if you wish to walk or if you just want to relax it is a little piece of heaven
