Review 1：Very pleasant welcome and easy access to town and station and parking on site. Nice breakfast in morning. Bridgend has become a little run down but as an overnight stop if travelling aroung Wales or for easy public transport access into Cardiff this is a reasonably priced accommodation.

Review 8：The house itself is on a main road and is in real need of a facelift, both outside and inside. The beds and bedding were terribly uncomfortable and made for a poor night's sleep and the towels could also do with replacing as they were very old and rough.

Review 12：The lingering smell of cooking fat in the dining/lounge area was overpowering. I had to change clothes after having breakfast there as they smelt of fat. The nearby train line may be too noisy for some.
