Review 2：The staff was always available and and kind. The position of this hotel helped since we could visit many places nearby and then come back by noon which was actually the thing we were lookig for. There are several restaurants around so dinner was never a problem. Very basic but clean place. We'll come back!

Review 3：The 1st 2 weeks in August there was loud music from the bars and an outdoor concert in the nearby free car park. But as a solo traveller I don't visit bars so if you are a couple or a family this might be a wonderful source of entertainment.

Review 4：Easy to get to places like Bastia, Porto Vecchio, Bonifascio and others sites of interest including the ruins at Aleria - obviously you need a car. Lovely little restaurants and bars too. Excellent nearby beaches about 5 minutes drive away.

Review 5：no wi-fi in the room on the 3rd floor, the elevator starts on the 1st floor.

Review 6：very nice room with the balcony overlooking the ocean, very good bathroom. Bed is large and we slept comfortably, also the baby cot was nicely made and she slept very well. Private parking by the door was appreciated after day of hiking. We did not try the breakfast as 9 euro seemed to be on expensive side and there are few bakeries on the street.

Review 7：stayed at the hotel while I was touring Corsica on my bike. The hotel was clean and welcoming. I had the sleep I needed after a 180km ride. I was able to keep my bike in a safe room overnight. Everything went well and breakfast was fantastic too. Excellent stay

Review 27：Really good value considering the low price for 1 night. Very friendly and helpful multilingual staff and free parking outside the hotel. Room was really big and there are some amazing beaches within a few kms. You will need a car though to get there. Restaurants, etc. within walking distance.

Review 28：We arrived too early (check-in was after 1600) and the staff member didnot make us feel welcome and just told us to come back later. Breakfastwas not included but could be ordered. Instead, we chose to go acrossthe road to a bar where we had tea/coffee and fresh croissants forabout a quarter of the price the hotel was charging.

Review 29：We booked to stay one night at the Hotel Maquis et Mar because of itsposition and price. The location was very convenient as it was right inthe town centre with several cafes and restaurants within walkingdistance. We were upgraded to a bigger room in the old, historic wing ofthe hotel. The room was spacious, light and airy and spotlessly clean.We liked it because being old it was traditional and rather charming.Breakfast aside, the room was excellent value for money, given thataccommodation in Corsica is generally very expensive

Review 30：Good for exploring the south of the island. Good beaches within a few km-s, Bavella is just an hour trip. The staff is very kind. Room was cleaned every day. Next to shops and restaurants. Free parking available at the harbour (100 metres).

Review 35：Wednesdays and saturdays are very annoying as you have loud music and afwull singing coming from the street. Solenzara organises street festivities on those days and the noise goes on untill almost 1am!
