Review 6:Excellent host. Clean rooms, comfy bed. Good continental breakfast. Host very helpful with local places to eat, drink. Easy walk to train station to get to Cardiff

Review 8:That we couldn't stay longer - but we had a great week there.

Review 9:Robert and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. We were fortunate to have a very large room, which was lovely.

Review 10:Had to go across the road for breakfast, not ideal so gave it a miss.

Review 11:Ideal location for where we were going, briefly met the owner, no staff to score on, bed very comfy, shower cubicle very small for size of bathroom, didn't fancy going across the road for breakfast.

Review 12:Bedroom on road side noisy. Late traffic bombed down the road .

Review 13:Robert our host was very helpful. At breakfast he was perfect, replenished dishes immediately and coffee, tea, toast etc dealt with as asked.

Review 14:The only thing that was alittle annoying was the WiFi as it wasn't always good but it did still work.

Review 15:The rooms were lovely and cosy good size tv and good reception. Beds were very comfy indeed missed breakfast as over slept so I blame the beds.

Review 16:A hairdrier in the room would have been useful.

Review 17:It was quieter than I expected for the situation. The single room was basic but clean & comfortable with generous amounts of tea & coffee. The amiable owner arrived within minutes when I called to say I had arrived. There was parking. It's not cheap but not ridiculously priced either.

Review 18:Laid out over two buildings so would have had to cross the road for breakfast, which we missed

Review 19:We were left to our own devices which suited us down to the ground, low level of customer service but there if you needed them

Review 20:you have to ring the owner 10 minutes before you get there as he lives down the road, that's fine as long as you have a functional mobile, if you don't then you are stuffed as there is no others means of contact.

Review 21:good car parking

Review 22:It would have been nice to have some small toiletries, there was only a very small soap.

Review 23:The welcome was warm and informative. The rooms were clean and comfy.

Review 24:Your choices for type of traveller - actually it was two 60 year old friends and my Mum in a wheelchair - that's not covered by any of your options

Review 25:That it was wheelchair accessible.

Review 26:Wifi signals were very weak where we stayed, the flush in bathroom wont flush at one go very less water bit annoying to be honest i saw faboulous rating wont say its bad but not faboulous for us atleast apart from value for money and cleanliness.

Review 27:cleanliness and the person who runs was very decent guy his hospitality we went at busy time easter break but was very warm and quick to help

Review 28:Spotlessly clean. Lots of choice for breakfast, cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, muffins and toast. Made a change from cooked breakfasts as can be a bit much. even though on busy road was very quite

Review 29:The owner was hard to locate on arrival so we had to phone for him.

Review 30:The host was considerate, informative and welcoming and the room well proportioned and very clean. The basic functional outside look of the guest house disguised a charming and pleasing interior.

Review 31:I booked online, a day before we were due to arrive my room got cancelled . I went back online to book and the price had gone up by £10.00

Review 32:The man who showed us arounf. Really helpful

Review 33:Very small room Boiling hot Nice continental breakfast but would have preferred full cooked

Review 36:Bed, billow etc.was very good. Also the room Was warm and shower was very good too. Little, clean room with free wifi, tea and coffee, what Else you need :). Robert Was also very kind and friedlyness Host!

Review 37:I did not dislike anything about this Hotel, I would just like to say that a cooked breakfast option would be more appealing. Having said that the variety of breakfast was very good, and I enjoyed this as a pleasant change from the high cholesterol I normally eat.

Review 38:Convenient location for Porthcawl Cardiff, Swansea. Plenty of Parking. Clean and friendly environment. Room had good facilities always nice to have a packet of biscuits provided. Bed comfortable. I would recommend this Hotel to future travellers.

Review 39:Ideal location for visiting in Bridgend or Cardiff. Breakfast was only continental but there was also a good selection of cereals, yoghurts, fruit etc. so no one should go hungry.

Review 40:Shower only provided luke warm water. Small shelve and no hanging hooks in the bathroom, meant items on the floor/top of toilet.

Review 41:As late night check in, easy access off motorway and met on arrival with parking available. Location off high street meant late night drink/meal only a short walk away on arrival. Vast choice of breakfast available, fuelled for the day. Pleasant drive out through the countryside in the morning.

Review 42:We basically liked everything. The guest house is very cozy, it is close to several neat locations to visit, and our host Robert was really nice and accommodating. We would stay here again any time to have a few relaxing days.

Review 43:We have stayed at the New Inn before so knew what to expect. Rob allowed our Parson Jack Russell to stay with us, and he was welcomed as we were. When we arrived Rob noticed that I use a walking stick so he changed our accommodation from a first floor room to a ground floor one. The rooms are always clean, the en-suite spotless (and plenty of hot water) and the choice of food for breakfast was great. Thank you Rob for being so understanding and friendly. Hope to see you again soon.

Review 44:No such negatives or nothing not to like, just maybe no shampoo in the washroom; perhaps the host forgot about it. No issue as we did not even mention it to the host as everything else was excellent.

Review 45:Location was good with the accomodation located between Swansea and Cardiff. Breakfast was excellent as well and the host was very helpful and friendly.

Review 46:Nothing at all

Review 47:Very welcoming, clean room and bathroom and freshly made toast for breakfast. Chose this guest house because I could take my dog, I would definitely stay again

Review 48:Very flexible and nice staff - the keeper even printed my boarding pass for me ! Clean and comfortable facilities (King Room) and just ab. one kilometer from the city center, and there's small shop just near by. Breakfast was ok for the price. We really enjoyed our time. Recommend for everyone, who wants to go low budget and enjoy simple but nice accommodation.

Review 49:It would be an unreasonable traveler who found fault with this property. I was a business traveler attending an ISO9001:2008 Internal Auditor course and my awareness was in overdrive.

Review 50:The New Inn is quirky in a nice way, check in details are a telephone number in the window and like summonsing the cavalry Robert arrives a minute or so later on a bike. Breakfast is served across the road but somehow this all adds to the quirky charm

Review 51:good location, easy access, plenty free parking; room doors open immediately on outdoor communal area with benches and tables, so no corridors to walk through; hearty breakfast, staff absolutely keen to cater to your needs

Review 52:Very friendly owner and staff clean, cosy accomodation. No cooked breakfast available but good selection of breakfast cereals, fruit, crossants, toast yoghurts, muffins etc.
