Reviews for Hôtel Primavera
Review 1:Breakfast was expensive for a long stay. Public can look into hotel as there is an access path very close to hotel building. Swimming pool not heated while we were there and water was bitterly cold.
Review 2:Room was very comfortable. Hotel has style and the location at the edge of the town on the sea front is good. Restaurant very good but you need to book ahead as it is very popular
Review 3:Bathroom suite very dated (70's ) Shower head support fitting broken, making it impossible to use without holding it with one hand. No extractor
Review 4:Super imposing building. Friendly accommodating staff. Beautiful location. Super breakfast
Review 5:This is a superbly situated hotel with magnificent views overlooking the sea however the hotel was very quiet and lacked some atmosphere. We had a beautiful room looking out to sea but somehow the 70's decor (especially the bathroom) didn't seem to be in keeping with the splendour of the building. We were looking forward to a romantic meal on the terrace but sadly not to be - it was a Monday night and the hotel restaurant was closed.
Review 6:The hotel is superbly situated with magnificent sea views. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Review 7:The receptionist, as we arrived, broke off from booking us in and dealt with another guest, at length and left us standing waiting to be given our room key. We found this same person to be arrogant during our stay.
Review 8:The rest of the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Meals on the terrace were superb
Review 9:Moved from table with beautiful sea view to a table for two people behind a pillar
Review 10:Location, comfortable, peaceful. Beautiful sea view from restaurant
Review 11:poor condition of building. very dated décor. heath and safety issues plugs in bedroom hanging off wall for my 16 month old grandson to play with. False claims and deceptive on advert of this hotel. pool freezing. no depth signs.no shallow end. Over 6ft deep all around. very unsafe for none swimmers /children. very lethal tiles when wet. Over priced breakfast, not full buffy as advertised. over charged me by 278 euro. also charged for triple room despite advertised free bed and I had email to confirm free bed. manager, no people skills or manners. screamed at me when challenged at extra charge for bed, "attracting the attention of fellow dinners", breakfast incomplete and over charged. she stomped and shouted banging on the desk("with 2 month old child in arms) acting like my 16 month old grandson. she informed me, well, screamed , if I did not pay she would take the money off my card anyway. informed her this was illegal. she realised her mistake when my partner after 20 mins of her abuse, found the receipt for the 278 euros taken on my first night, no apology no thank you no good bye and thank you for staying and spending you well earned money with us. "never again Madame"
Review 12:clean bed sheets and towels. excellent sea view.
Review 13:Accommodation had very few usable surfaces.
Review 14:Quiet, peaceful, gardens. Wonderful cliff top perspective. Enjoyable coastal pathway allowing a pleasant stroll to the beach and town centre.
Review 15:Pool was one depth (deep) and cold, so could not take baby swimming (would expect an indoor pool to be heated) Location was not very convenient for town / shops, although some restaurants quite close Although seafront, on a cliff so no beach (beach not too far away, but not walking distance with a baby and the paraphernalia that comes with them!) Not enough plug sockets
Review 16:Friendly staff Spacious room, with separate lounge area (useful with young baby) Balcony (terrace) Fan provided (due to baby) Quiet location Lots of free parking English TV channels Safe in the room
Review 17:We thought the breakfast was expensive and we were awoken very noisily on our first morning by housekeepers wanting to clean our room, despite putting DO NOT DISTURB on the door. This only happened the first morning but we were anxious that it would happen again. Our bill was £136 more than our 'Booking.Com' stated and the hotel were not able to honour our original booking confirmation.
Review 18:We loved being on the sea front with the sea breeze. The hotel was unique in its design. It was ideal for walking, cycling and driving to nearby attractions. Unspoilt and very peaceful. The rooms were very comfortable with the added bonus of having tea/coffee making facilities. Could have provided milk though, when we asked for some it wasn't available? The pool towels were a nice complimentary bonus.
Review 19:Dining room a bit tired
Review 20:Superb location
Review 21:Long walk from main shops and restaurants hotel resturant shut early so nothing available after 9 30pm

Review 29:The location was fabulous, it was lovely going to sleep to the sound of waves.
Review 30:I would like the reception to be manned more.

Review 32:The Location, the food
Review 33:No apparent smoke alarm.
Review 34:Great view, warm room, very comfy bed and super location. Superb coffee machine in room.
Review 35:Having to go through the hotel reception between the pool and the sun terrace.
Review 36:The staff, the decor, the room facilities, the pool, the views.
Review 37:Nothing.
Review 38:Accessibility to Festival site excellent. Glorious views.
Review 39:WI FI not working well enough
Review 40:Very tired interior
Review 41:Great view if you get a sea side room
Review 42:Friendly staff excellent swimming pool very nice breakfast
Review 43:Swimming pool was alright if you were a proficient swimmer as it was a 2m depth all over, not being that it was no good for me.
Review 44:Location was great. Room was spacious and clean. Great to have a lift. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as was the evening meal. Hope to go again as one of the best hotels we have been to in France.
Review 45:The rudeness of the owner. Having driven 500k we were told by the young woman at the desk that the restaurant was full. We queried this because we had reserved two nights and expected priority as residents. She just repeated it was full and suggested a 15min walk along the cliff path into town. this turned out to be 40 and because we got very lost took an hour. Taxis were not available so we walked back in the near dark. We asked for the manager and we met by the owner. When we very politely told her we were not very satisfied we were subjected to a barrage of rudeness and sarcasm. She asked if perhaps expected her to serve us on the kitchen floor or sit on someones lap in the dining room. If we were not satisfied then we could go elsewhere it meant nothing to her and that we could write as many bad reviews as we like she did not care. We were very upset by this and had no wish to stay the second night so we left first thing in the morning
Review 46:The sea facing rooms and the location on the cliff
Review 47:minor quibble but we booked a triple room for 3 adults which in all pictures, had 3 beds. We got a double and a single bed so it was lucky we are close friends but would have been unsuitable for some people!
Review 48:Amazing location and beautiful grounds
Review 49:No kettle or tea or coffee facilities in room and had to pay extra for tea if requested. No shower curtain so bathroom got soaked.
Review 50:Lovely views of ocean and liked the old style of hotel.
Review 51:No fridge in room, breakfast poor for price, unable to gain access to outside from pool. Transport could have been better to get to town centre.
Review 52:Character of hotel, gardens and surroundings, proximity to beach.
Review 53:Perhap should duvets instead of blankets an cover. Never sure how many people have used the blankets etc.
Review 54:Have seen this hotel for years but never stayed there. This was a special week-end, and the hotel was great.
