Review 1:A perfectly presented Barn in the most peaceful and quant position a short distance from a sleepy local village with all you could possibly want for a country break. The Hosts, Sue and David couldn't have made us more welcome and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Review 3:Very friendly welcome, felt at home straight away. Our room (the King suite) was beautiful with a very comfy bed and new bathroom. Breakfast was delicious.

Review 12:We were having a special dinner at Gidleigh Park and this location was ideal for the visit which is only a short taxi ride away. Lovely owners and a breakfast to die for.

Review 13:Very peaceful location with views of countryside and wildlife. As we were in our classic MG sportscar we were offered space in the barn so that the car was under cover during the night. Very good breakfast to see us on our way.

Review 17:The welcome when we arrived made us feel as if we were coming home, not arriving at a strange place. Sue and Dave make you feel as if you are old friends, not complete strangers. Sue made us a lovely cream scone and a cup of tea, which was most welcome after a long journey. Finding a well presented B & B such as this one must be quite rare an easy 5 star accommodation.

Review 22:We loved the place as soon as we stepped in. Very clean and David was very friendly. He offered chocolate cake and tea as soon as we got there. The place is spotless and very comfortable and modern. it seems that it was recently renovated. David made an early breakfast for us , at 7am and he made a full English breakfast . it was amazing. He made us feel like old friends and we are planning to return another time for sure

Review 26:A beautiful house in a peaceful setting. Woke up to see horses grazing in fields outside. Only a short drive to the nearest charming town. A true getaway with very welcoming and friendly hosts.

Review 32:We were warmly welcomes by Mrs Rogers (plus cup of tea and Devon scone). Higher Weddicott Barn is the best bed and breakfast accommodation I have stayed in. It was very quiet and peaceful, the whole place had been converted to an extremely high standard and all amenities were available.

Review 41:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were very impressed with the modern barn conversion. The place is clean and tidy with plenty of space to relax in the lounge room. The hosts Sue and David were friendly and advised us on local walk and restaurants. Nice to meet such warm people who have created a lovely place to stay and offer a genuine experience. Sue makes a great breakfast and her welcome flapjacks were delicious too. So glad we stayed here and met lovely people and had a good natter and a laugh. A truly memorable experience from our great tour of England!

Review 42:Glorious setting in the Dartmoor countryside, fantastic views of distant tors. The barn was done to a very high standard and Dave and Sue were the perfect hosts nothing was to much, we had a great time there. We would recommend it thoroughly.

From the welcome cake, the tasty breakfast and helpful information about the area, we left wishing we could have stayed for longer and were already planning our return.

Review 51:Immaculate barn conversion with a personal touch. Sue and David were excellent hosts. Location was 1 mile from the picturesque village of Chagford and had a moorland walk only 2mins up the road. hosts were also very good at suggesting local restaurants / pubs and walks.
