Reviews for La Résidence de La Réserve
Review 1:Nothing discovered so far
Review 2:Facility is perfect in environment and excellent in service. Located just few minutes walking from beach and you can brilliant sunrise and sunset view everyday.
Review 3:Bit of road noise; no swimming pool access without lunch booking
Review 4:Staff really friendly and helpful; Apartments modern, clean and of high quality; Great view from our apartment overlooking the sea;
Review 5:Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable. It was the hardest bed we've ever slept in! Need some basic English instructions on how to work appliances.
Review 6:Loved our stay, very secure. The staff were all very obliging. The apartment is very comfortable and well fit out.
Review 7:I originally booked in march 2 bed apt for 4 adults in sept.Hotel rang to say that 2 bed apt was for 2 adults 2 children as 2nd bedroom was small AND IT WAS.(Perhaps this should be stated on booking).,but apt had spacious living /dining area and separate kitchen.Gorgeous.
Review 8:Made trip for wedding and apt was right beside church across the road from superb/exclusive hotel. I felt comfortable talking to staff in hotel. They welcomed us and made us feel we were special. They upgraded us after 2 days as our apt had a few issues.I have to thank Christal,Estelle,Patrick and cannot rem other names but all were attentive and sophisticated. Loved it and will go back to stay in Hotel next time. expensive but worth it.
Review 9:Good location.spacious accommodation. Able to use facilities in Main hotel although food prices ridiculous (and much more expensive than grand hotel du cap Ferrat).
Review 10:The staff was a bit strange; noise from the street; impossibility to access our car alone
Review 11:location, the fact that the aprtment was new and very very clean.
Review 12:Meals at La Reserve are seriously overpriced, and I didn't appreciate being required to buy a lunch in order to use the pool facilities.
Review 13:The location was wonderful, with easy access to all the joys of Beaulieu-Sur-Mer.
Review 14:You have to book lunch at the hotel to have all day free access to their pool and loungers. It is a gorgeous pool area but lunch is extraordinarily expensive (think 69euro for a cheeseburger) which my son ate half of because he didn't like it.
Review 15:Fantastic location, gorgeous apartment with 2 full bathrooms plus an extra toilet. All the use of the Hotel La Reserve facilities.
Review 16:No negatives at all
Review 17:A quite wonderful place to stay. The quality and amenities of the apartment were outstanding. The service linked to the hotel opposite were superb, and we had a wonderful time.
Review 18:The reception is not located in the service apartment but the hotel opposite to the property. Check-in and check out should be done in the hotel receiption.
Review 19:Location-the service apartment is located close to the seaside (2-10 minutes walk to the seaside). It is located outside the old town of Nice, very quite in neighbourhood. Worth of money and spacious for group of friend - althought there is no sea view from the room, the service apartment is very spacious with three double bed rooms, fully equiped kitch and large living room. It is good for group of friends (maximum 6 people) or a whole family for a short stay in Nice. If you want to have the sea view, you can select the hotel under same group just opposite the service apartment.
Review 20:The description said all rooms had views and we assumed that meant the sea. We did not have views of the sea, but next time I would get the upgraded apartment (slightly larger and perhaps better views).
Review 21:The town was not much of a tourist destination and that was refreshing. The apartment was lovely (compact, but we knew that going in).
Review 22:When we visited the hotel pool we were asked to move to a different section of chairs because the hotel guests had priority seating to view the water. We were paying guests of the hotel apartments and the pool seats were empty so we shouldn't have been asked to move. This was not very customer friendly.
Review 23:Apartment was amazing with all the benefits of staying in an hotel. Staff were top notch, nothing too much trouble and use of the hotel facilities was an added bonus.
Review 24:No balcony, and the fact NY dinner was 600 euros a head plus wine!
Review 25:The apartment was well laid out and comfortable. Use of the hotel's facilities was a nice bonus. The kids enjoyed the pool which was heated to 25 c and we're able to swim over New Year. The hotel bar was excellent and served up great martinis.
Review 26:An additional mirror in the room or walk in cupboard would have been appreciated by the lady of the house
Review 27:Position, equipment and the way it was set up
Review 28:The cleaning is very good but I think they should provide cleaning kits for the washing machine and dishwasher for the whole stay.
Review 29:the apartment was big and comfortable. Easy access through the elevator and wonderful position in Beaulieu.
Review 30:The only fault could be no balcony, but I am only putting this because it asked what I did not like!
Review 31:We loved the space in the accommodation, the bedrooms and the overall cleanliness. The location is second to none, turn left and you are in the port with a great choice of restaurant and turn left for the village. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and always on hand. It is great that you can use the full facilities of the hotel, this is a first.
Review 32:wifi can be a bit weak at times
Review 33:This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect for the two beaches, the local market, the train station and the buses. It is quiet and very comfortable. We slept incredibly well. The cooking facilities are excellent too.
Review 34:Swimming pool was not available to guests unless you booked very expensive lunch!! or Chicken nuggets €40
Review 35:No negatives at all.
Review 36:Absolutely brilliant staff, great location and wonderful service.
Review 37:Management lady was very nice
Review 38:None!

Review 52:Everything excellent unfortunately their were no balconies.
Review 53:There is nothing not to like.
Review 54:Superb yet again. Faultless. Our second visit and we cannot wait to book again. Staff are exceptional and being able to use the facilities of the Reserve make this a perfect vacation apartment.
Review 55:Need more mirrors - preferably in the bedroom
Review 56:Apartments were very spacious. Very clean. Fantastic location - very beautiful town. Hotel staff were very accomodating and very friendly. Hotel bar was amazing.
Review 57:Fantastic apartment I knew they were going to be excellent given their link to La Reserve, however they exceeded all expectations. everything was first class, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our family group of three adults.
Review 58:Staying only one night
Review 59:Top class and beautifully appointed apartment with every facility and amenity, perfectly maintained. Reception & concierge staff, first class. Excellent location.
Review 60:Price for the parking
Review 61:Very well decorated and comfortable high-end apartment with everything needed for a short stay. Very good location in the very pleasant town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Excellent staff.
Review 62:Cost of car park. However there are not many options in the area, so we took the residence's car park.
Review 63:Fabulous self-catering residence in a very chic location. We were four adults and two children, and everyone enjoyed the spacious three bedroom apartment.
Review 64:There was no see view..
Review 65:Comfortable, clean apartment with good service and all facilities in it. Close to the beach, shops, reataurants and embankment..
Review 66:far from nice city centre. taxies very costly and you need to go to nice for good food, sight seeing etc
Review 67:location, surrounding, quiet & soothing. good for relaxation for long duration
Review 68:Nothing - everything was absolutely perfect.
Review 69:A truely wonderful stay in Beaulieu sur Mer, the apartment met all our expectations. We loved it so much we are going later this month for another long weekend . . . cannot wail|
Review 70:the weather, not their fault but it was the worst weather they had had in 32 years !! Which was a great shame. Looking forward to returning in more clement times.
Review 71:Lovely appartment with very well equipped kitchen. felt instantly at home. good location. even the church which was opposite didnt pose a problem with bells ringing. whilst it is quite expensive overall I think its worth the money. The residence is opposite the hotel, so the hotel staff bring bags park car etc, all were very nice and efficient. Would recommend La residence to anyone
Review 72:Our check-in was botched. We had been led to believe there would be noproblem having access to the room from 10am but ended up sitting aroundthe hotel waiting until 3.20pm, for reasons which were a long way frombeing satisfactory. At the time this was extremely irritating but by theend of the week it was a distant memory.
Review 73:As we have two very young children, we go for serviced apartmentsrather than hotels wherever possible these days. We had a three bedapartment (No 8). It was was modern, well-appointed, clean andquiet. We had unlimited access to the heated salt water infinitypool at La Reserve, which is truly stunning (note that they turn theheating off at about 6pm). There is also a nice spa and gym. It is agreat base for exploring the Cote. The Menton-Nice bus stop is infront of the building. The Beaulieu market square, supermarket, train station and marina restaurants are all within an easy 5 minutewalk. St Jean and Villefranche are a 30 minute walk. Apart from thepalaver in relation to our check-in (see below), the staff weregreat (special mention for Michael at the pool and Patrick on thedoor). We will undoubtedly be back.
Review 74:The hotel residence with cleaning daily was ideal for our family with young children. Also, we did not rent a car and train/bus to all main towns was very accessible.
Review 75:Nothing to dislike!
Review 76:We had decided to make this our "splash out, treat hotel." We weren't disappointed! Absolutely beautiful apartments with everything you could need and then some. We booked a 2 bedroom ( 3 bed ) apartment but when we got there, there was only 1 bed for the children. We were promptly upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. Fantastic!
Review 77:Location meant quite a lot of traffic noise that affected sleep
Review 78:Location convenient for trains, shops and sea
Review 79:We liked everything. Beautiful apartment, top notch staff, and perfect location.
Review 80:everything. it was superb!
Review 81:Very well equipped apartment, close to the sea and town. Staff were accommodating with our early arrival.
Review 82:Pas de pantoufle
Review 83:Everything is perfect!
Review 84:Everything was perfect
Review 85:Everything - staff is out of this world, apartments are 5 star. There is no better place to stay on the Riveria with a family. Book it now.
Review 86:Absolutely everything !
Review 87:the weather! cold ,rain and windy whilst we were in residence
Review 88:beautiful new appartment block, luxury is the word, can't wait to go back sometime
Review 89:everything is always perfect!
