Reviews for La Réserve de Beaulieu & Spa
Review 1:Astonishing service. The owner of the hotel happened to arrive at the same time as we did and immediately set about upgrading our room to a beautiful sea view. The cuisine in the Michelin starred restaurant is unforgettable.
Review 2:Main restaurant very expensive though there were others that were excellent
Review 3:Beautiful hotel beautiful location. Superb service from front desk and concierge team. Lovely room with an excellent view
Review 4:Very unprofessional one of the concierge - you better plan everything by yourself. Or just ask Patrick(the main one) whatever is needed. Very poor gym. No beach, but good swimming pool area. You never get the bill on what you order - they just sign everything to the room. So it can be a surprise after. Don't take a room called "garden pavilion" - it's a duplex and not convenient with "old smell".
Review 5:The place is fine. The perks such as towels and different accessories in the room, by the swimming pool, in the spa are completely 5* hotel level.
Review 6:Everything good except poor quality croissants, pain au chocolat and baguettes. No excuse for that in a top French hotel. We took breakfast just the 1st morning and then went outside the hotel.
Review 7:The location must be one of the best on the Cote d'Azur. Our room was quite small, but with a fabulous sea view, with all mod coms and kept impeccably clean and tidy by the chambermaids. The reception and concierge staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Review 8:Nothing other than fantastic experiences!
Review 9:The location is wonderful, the owner and ALL of the staff were attentive and most helpful, to go along with their individual skills and personalities. The room was the best one we have ever stayed in (and there have been many!).
Review 10:they serve breakfast to order but deliver every item at the same time so any hot food gets cold before you have even started on the fruit or cereal - this is very silly. It is not a cheap hotel and so the lunch and bar prices reflect this -cant really complain
Review 11:excellent location, friendly and efficient staff, very clean and tidy, quiet and professional
Review 12:background music playing everywhere - no absolutely quiet place to have a conf call or enjoy the silence, big window with no curtain in the bathroom, restaurant prices are outrangeous (EUR 120 for the main course, etc.), average breakfast, no good restaurants around
Review 13:nice boutique-hotel with a spirit, big swimming pool facing the sea, rooms spacious, balcony with a side-sea view, service and wi-fi were ok
Review 14:Would have been nice to be given an upgrade with room, especially as we were returning guests over several years, and they were not full.Restaurant far too expensive; that was why it was half empty most nights.
Review 15:The location is stunning, right on the sea with wonderful views over Cap Ferrat. Loved the swimming pool that is right on the sea and also the piano playing in the bar in the evening.
Review 16:Incidentals such as food are expensive, but given its location there are plenty of other options in town.
Review 17:The hotel is beautiful, led by the stunning swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean. The staff are pleasant and not at all intrusive, and the piano bar is a great experience.
Review 18:Beautiful hotel, with views of Cap Ferat and a heated salt water pool. Stayed here only one night, but wished we could have been there much longer. It also has a tremendous restaurant on site. The breakfast on the terrace is pricey, but worth every penny for that luxurious view.
Review 19:A fantastic hotel and excellent staff. Just one complaint ,the Pillowsfor a luxury hotel were awful. As a guest we should have been asked whattype of pillow we prefer ,or have various pillows available in the room.
Review 20:There was nothing not to like
Review 21:Everything about this hotel and the staff are amazing. We loved it so much we stayed longer than our planned trip which the staff helped us rearrange our flights.
Review 22:The breakfast was between 75 & 150 euros, which was not a reasonable price for eat at the hotel. The hotel was clearly targeted at those who are able to afford these luxuries.
Review 23:The hotel was very nice, and it is located right near the ocean, within 10 minutes walk of the train station. Staff were friendly and made sure that we were taken care of.
Review 24:We had booked, because of the great testimonials on Booking, for an anniversary and wanted to enjoy a Michelin Star Dinner...unfortunately that restaurant was closed and replaced by a kitchen where relationship price/value is totally lost. One can only order by minimum a 4 course menus for Euro 85 in the evening. No PASSION in the cooking and too simple dishes without any creativity for a place like this. Breakfast the same: yogurt in a glass where the server just takes off the lid: Euro 10, granola Euro 10, fruit platter Euro 24, so you have a plate of yogurt with fruits and granola for 44 Euro...not to forget the 15 ml of juice for Euro 12! Outrageous!!! Price/quality again, totally lost. Bathroom is small and hot/cold water in shower does not function well, also one could clean the tiles once in a while...ours had not been cleaned for long time... In two words, this place is one big disappointment....
Review 25:The beautiful view!
Review 26:Unfortunately, the restaurant prices in the hotel were too expensive for both my friend and myself. However, given the quality of the hotel, other guests may not find the prices a problem.
Review 27:Everything. Beautiful music in the bar. Fabulous seawater pool and lovely Spa. Gorgeous view from bedroom balcony.
Review 28:nothing to dislike other than possibly the room service menu was very expensive and it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but that's all.
Review 29:everything, would definitely stay there again, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
Review 30:The dining is incredibly formal and incredibly expensive. Never have I felt so out of place or overwhelmed as I did having dinner there one night. 30 Euro for breakfast (OJ and some crepes) and almost 100 euro for dinner.
Review 31:An amazing hotel with incredibly friendly staff who spoke English and remembered my name. Very plush and large rooms. Every facet of this place oozed of luxury.
Review 32:Food is pretty expensive, which is not a problem, as there are supermarkets open till 19:45 nearby, but coffee is way too expensive - espresso 7 euro!
Review 33:Seaside terrace. Easy access to Monaco by direct bus.
Review 34:They need to dim the lights at night as you can't leave your window or balcony doors open as the lights in the garden are on all through the night. How can one be on the sea and not be able to enjoy the sea air. Instead I had to have the air conditioner on. Terrible massage and double the insult by having to pay an astronomical price for it. Ridiculous food prices. 50 euros for a Club Sandwich!
Review 35:Beautiful setting. Wonderful bedrooms. Staff could not be more charming. Very old world perfection
Review 36:Everything was great, above expectations ! it was just a fabulous time at Villa Marie wish we had booked it for the whole week . The hotel, the rooms , the breakfast, lunch, dinner, pool...not to forget the staff ! Excellent !! The shuttle between the hotel and St Tropez at any time ! So very friendly . The hotel is Lovely decorated . Definitely will book again when going to St Tropez!
Review 37:Too much wasted food in breakfast.....wished for fruit in exchange for much of what was provided.
Review 38:Quiet, comfortable room and general ambience. Level of service.
Review 39:Food and drink was extremely expensive €40 for a tomato & mozzarella salad
Review 40:The stunning swimming pool & the beautiful views The restaurant, dinner although expensive was excellent
Review 41:Not too fond of large square pillows Didn't like the sunbed reserve arrangement Beds had been reserved for a day but not occupied and we were crammed down at one end.
Review 42:Staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. Probably on of my best meals ever in the main restaurant. Large glasses of wine Stunning food in stunning position by the pool.
Review 43:The internet very slow and instabile
Review 44:The excellent staff. The pool attandent Michael gavel us excellent service. The concierge, unfortunately i don't have the name ( he had worked in London) was very serviceminded, did everything he could for us. Take good care of those excellent empolyees.
Review 45:Perhaps the head sommelier could have been a little less frigid. Nevertheless, a wonderful meal with superb staff in their main restaurant.
Review 46:It was a stylish, discreet boutique hotel, away from the bustling city of Nice. Within easy driving distance to St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo, Cap du Ferat,San Remo in Italy. We visited St. Paul & Biot and were advised well by the concierges. Views, pool, gardens all magnificent. Walked minutes to get to the local cafés.
