Review 1：WiFi is worst ever seen, worse than old dial up internet, do yourself a favour if you need data on your trip, get an orange mobicard, 3GB for 25 euro and bring a MiFi or dongle to keep your sanity.

Review 4：This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff,(who spoke excellent English) were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again- even if just for the beautiful view from the terrace!

Review 5：Mountain view rooms are old, like the 80's. We seen into the sea view rooms and they look new and really nice, so make sure you ask about your room in advance.

Review 6：The location is great between Nice and Monaco in a quiet town. Taxi pizza across the street was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We sat up on the roof terrace overlooking the harbour and full moon whilst we ate - perfect!

Review 17：Our room 337 was small, dated, smokey with cigarette burns and a couple of the light switches sometimes worked. When I mentioned to the 50ish male general manager the following morning that the room was tired he replied "I know that's why it is the €100 room". I pointed out that it was smoky and had burn marks to which he replied "what can you do, people smoke". When I mentioned about the light switches he replied "you should have called reception last night". When I mentioned that giving people rooms like that would only lead to a poor review in booking.com he replied "he didn't care as they get good ratings on booking.com". He also criticised booking.com, that I should have paid an extra €50 for a better room. Enough said but having run my own business for 35 years I wouldn't let him near my customers. In travelling Europe for the last 8 weeks, around 100€ gets us good accomodation and only once before a smokey room

Review 18：The initial impression

Review 19：The air-conditioning was leaking a bit of water into the entrance way of the room. However, this was detected and fixed promptly by the staff. As in any busy place, parking can be a little difficult. There is some street parking and parking available in the marina. The hotel also has very limited secure parking (I'd recommend booking this in advance) in the basement of the building opposite, for which there is a charge, and which requires a key to enter and exit (available from the reception).

Review 20：The views from the balcony over the marina were beautiful. And it's a great location, especially if you want to go boating (there's a boat rental company based in the marina). The two beaches in Beaulieu-sur-Mer aren't too far away, and the hotel provides beach mats and umbrellas, and can also provide beach towels (though there is a small charge for that). Villefranche-sur-Mer is also within walking distance (and we actually preferred it to Beaulieu-sur-Mer). The pool at the hotel is also great for relaxing, and there is also a terrace on the roof.

Review 25：the standard room was from the 1950's, old yellow paint, a lumpy bed, blankets that should be in a homeless shelter, two pillows that were not the same, no blind in the bathroom so the light woke me up from the window as there was no door, put some money into the room . the man who checked me out did not even look me in the eye as he gave me my credit card and receipt back, he just passed it to me while looking down

Review 31：The location of this hotel is second to none in Beaulieu. Across from the marina with wonderful sea views from our balcony. The room was comfortable and the bathroom very new and luxurious. There is a swimming pool and plenty of sun beds. However the beautiful beaches are a few minutes walk away as are very good restaurants.

Review 36：The hotel is run down, paint peeling and outdated. 1960'S feel aboutit. The roof top neon light "hotel" had obviously been brokenfor quite awhile and this reflects the rest of the hotel. Lift is small(3person) and typical of older European hotels but is inadequate toservice 4 floors and domestic staff. Wifi facilities were limited to oneservice per room - this straight away indicated a sub standard serviceand we had problems with it from the start. We also heard 3 other guestscomplain. To the point where we had to completely discount it, had torely on the pizza place across the road which had excellent Wifiservice. In this day and age it is not acceptable to not offer Wifi in ahotel of this type. To advertise it and not supply a reliable service iseven worse. Breakfast was very basic.

There was mold in the bathroom and a broken tub, and a carpet full of stains we were scared to walk barefoot!!!! This room should not under any circumstances be offered! It is hazardous to a client's health! Very disappointing experience!

There was a road construction going on in the morning and my grandma just wanted to let the receptionist know that they started working at 07:00 am, in return instead of saying "wow that's surprising, I will double check with the workers...or sorry for the inconvenience" she started saying "no, they didn't start working at that time" and started arguing with us. Also, while booking we asked for a parking. They provided us with it, but after 2 days we've decided that we don't need it, because there was parking available. And the hotel said - "no, you will have to pay for the whole time". Which wasn't really a problem for us, but that's not the way it should be done.

Review 117：The Italian lady at the check in desk was very rude when we asked her to explain some figures on the bill printout. When checking out, the same lady was super sleepy and could hardly talk to us. All other staff were really nice and helpful. The room is pretty basic and not soundproof at all (earplugs necessary). Wifi at the hotel is disappointing; you have to enter username and password every single time you use it. Even if you connect, leave the iphone aside for five mins and then use it again, you still have to re-enter credentials. Plus it gets disconnected for no reason all the time. The wifi at the cafe across the street is far far better. The parking spaces they rent are really inconvenient. They are at the basement of another nearby building. They only have one key for the main garage door. Therefore, every time you leave/come back to the hotel you have to go to the check in to get the key, unpark/park the car and then go return the key again. Really genius system..
