Reviews for Résidence La Réserve
Review 1:Access to the accomodation block after dark. No outside light. Key Pad difficult to see and operate.
Review 2:Excellent location within a short walk of town. Great views
Review 3:We didn't understand from the booking we were staying in a studio with a kitchenette in an annexe - it was like student accommodation. The staff were polite to me, but apparently not to my fiancée.
Review 4:The location is striking, although a bit of a walk into town (which is also beautiful.) The food is excellent, the hotel itself very pretty.
Review 5:Although there are a couple of design faults eg the location of the toilet with no basin, the apartment with its big terrace ensured a comfortable stay. The daily clean was appreciated. Good parking available.
Review 6:decoration, current style & upkeep of room from a design point of view
Review 7:location! Love the view. i was immediately happy when I could see the ocean from my terrace running from here to Ciboure ou Socoa and back to the botanical gardens. honestly one of my favorite runs in the world (and I travel a lot). I didn't expect a full kitchen staff really nice and welcoming -- no arrogance or difficulty
Review 8:The apartment felt damp initially - the building is built into a hillside and by the sea, so that wont help. Some hand rails on the curved steps out of the building on the garden entrance! As a female guest I was given a dinner menu without prices - really? In this day and age!
Review 9:The swimming pool - good size. Dinner in restaurant - excellent service & good, interesting food without being over fussy. Apartment - I think all have sea views, option to self cater suited us for some meals. Cleaning staff were lovely!
Review 10:Not having the room until 4.30 pm and having to go by 11 am . It was only a one night stay a little longer in the room would have been better
Review 11:Good location good food
Review 12:Felt like second class citizens being in the apartments. No contact with hotel staff.
Review 13:Fabulous pool, beautiful grounds and great position, near the town, about 15 minute walk. Apartments were good and facilities ok.
Review 14:The location was perfect for walking in to St Jean de Luz. The gardens and grounds of the hotel beautiful. The self catering kitchen area was an added bonus.
Review 15:A very pleasant room with access to a patio and to the garden. The gardens were lovely and the restaurant was excellent. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.
Review 16:The amicable staff
Review 17:mostly everything
Review 18:The location, the reception and general feel of the hotel was great. A perfect break.

Review 31:location pool
Review 32:After travelling for 6 weeks it was a pleasure to have helpful hotel staff
Review 33:Double bed too small. View of ocean was questionable.

Review 37:Bed was a bit too firm
Review 38:Views of the ocean, pool and grounds, helpful staff
Review 39:Studio apartment with cooking facilities, terrace and lovely sea views. The gardens and infinity pool are beautiful - again with lovely sea views. Private parking. Location very good.
Review 40:We loved the grounds of the hotel, the hotel itself was also lovely. Theapartments block looks a little tired by comparison. The studio westayed in was fine but the kitchen could have had more kitchen knives. We would not class the studio as 4 star. However the restaurant wassublime, the meal we had was fabulous. A range of less expensive wineswould be helpful.
Review 41:Pool, views, walking tracks, close to town
Review 42:The vibrant town of st Jean de Luz
Review 43:Kitchen accessories to update.
Review 44:Spacious, well-kept grounds. The infinity pool. Rest and relaxation.
Review 45:Some things looked in need of maintenance.
Review 46:Location with ice sea view
