Reviews for Eurotraveller Hotel - Premier - Harrow

Review 1:The fan inside the room is a little noisy.

Review 2:Functional but with staff who possess a strong service ethic. Clean and comfortable. Great for a one or two night stay.

Review 3:The only thing there is no toilet brushes. a slight disadvantage is that it 50 minutes into the central London

Review 4:The whole hotel was well presented and clean. I could not fault the actual room itself. Staff were very helpful

Review 5:No carpet in bedroom. Horribly harsh and cold lighting. No iron. No free wifi. Very noisy communal vent system in all bathrooms (that can be clearly heard from bedroom and prevents sleep). Indifferent staff. No automated wake-up call.

Review 6:Clean room. Discounted price was good value (considering London prices). Room at the rear of the building had no traffic noise compared to rooms at the front of the building.

Review 7:the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and the bed was nice to sleep in.. made our stay very nice thank you

Review 8:The transparent ceiling tiles in the bathroom bare open vents that hum quite loudly

Review 9:Bright airy rooms all the facilities that you would need for one night

Review 10:Heating should be turned on very cold for this time of the year to enter a room

Review 11:It was a little bit far to get to the tube for the journey we wanted to make, but we could have got the bus as the hotel recommended.

Review 12:Good value for money. Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Review 13:good clean basic hotel ideal for a quick stopover.everything you need and plenty of hot water too.ideal location to pop to wembley, public transport seemed good but we chose a local taxi firm, service great and only £9 for all 3 of us to the arena.we were lucky enough to get parking at the hotel but that may be an issue at times, although staff helpful.didnt have the continental breakfast so can't offer any comments . 11 am checkout was good after a late night.

Review 14:We struggled a little to get the room temperature up (if we had read the air con instructions it'd been much quicker) and we did find the air con fan a little loud at times. Otherwise the room was very quiet

Review 15:Great staff, very clean rooms, parking beneath the hotel (they note "a limited number of spaces" but we had no problems despite the hotel being full). Room was a good size. Located about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Harrow

Review 16:The staff were miserable. We had two rooms. When we returned to our rooms after a tiring day out in London the room beside us had music on so loud you could hear it in the lift, they also sounded like they were making a porn film, most of the night. The other room we had was beside a group of people who were also blasting music out and sounded like they were having a party. We complained twice. Music was turned down eventually but the sex noises continued so bad it sounded like someone was being murdered. Would never ever stay here again as it seems like complete morons use this hotel. Worst night ever in a hote!!!

Review 17:Actual rooms were nice. Clean and comfortable.

Review 18:No carpet (bedroom floor was freezing cold) Noisy extractor fan that could not be turned off No free Wi-fi Wakeup call was 35 minutes late Very noisy road traffic / poor double glazing No iron in room (have to traipse down to reception to get one) Weak over-bath shower rather than separate shower. Unpleasant lighting Poor picture & sound on TV

Review 19:Reasonable price (especially with the discount that I got) Clean room Good storage Comfortable bed (not too hard) Good size fridge Lots of mains points Indifferent check-in staff Totally unhelpful reception staff

Review 20:As I was attending a birthday party on the Sat and the Cenotaph on Sunday the location was just right, also the hotel was first class very friendly, efficent staff thank you

Review 21:Secure parking on site, helpful staff, lovely big room, well-equipped with everything. Nice view. Room even had a fridge and a safe. Lifts and choice of shower or bath.

Review 22:Was a little bit out of the centre, room was basic, but was clean and was all we needed

Review 23:Free parking was great, just down road from tube station, decent view at back (we were on 5th floor) cost was good esp with the free parking

Review 24:The windows offered no protection from the sound of the traffic on the main road. Emergency vehicle sirens and general traffic led to a disturbed night's sleep. It was as though the windows were wide open even though they were shut.

Review 25:Very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Free parking was an added bonus.

Review 26:The room was a bit...run down, which isn't to be unexpected in a budget hotel. The Internet is horrible, one hour, as advertised, is 2 pounds, but connecting to it was an unbelievable chore. At least the staff was helpful. The breakfast is really basic, not worth the 7 pound price tag.

Review 27:The staff was great and helpful, the room was cozy for the most part. Although directly above the police station and next to the main street, there was almost no noise in the room - really good soundproofing.

Review 28:Teacups a bit small, mugs would be better.

Review 29:Secure parking for the car, room was quite big and had expected twin single beds so having a single and double was great.

Review 30:Bed was too hard, and the pillows too thick. There was no choice of pillows, so had to try to make the best of it. Only continenental breakfast available, and very expensive, so did not opt for this.

Review 31:Price was good consiering quality of the room.

Review 32:Not the most luxurious place but at this price you shouldn't expect it

Review 33:35 Mins into Central London on the tube which makes this good value for money if you are after a base / place to sleep between exploring

Review 34:Just stayed one night, arrived late, manned reception. Bit difficult finding local place to park. Good choice of breakfast, though cooked items may have been out too long - wasn't willing to try! Very clean throughout and very comfortable bed. Clearly are in business for long term.

Review 35:The reception staff were lack of smiles; the location was a bit far from Central London.

Review 36:The room was generally comfortable; check in /out were easy; room (single) was spacious.

Review 37:Free Internet use was restricted to only the reception area. I had to pay for internet in the room. More so it was billed on continuos use which caused a lot of wastage for me.

Review 38:The room was really nice. The painting and the furnishing was excellent. There was attention to details.

Review 39:The shower tray stayed full of water for ages so you were standing in water if you followed the other guest to shower.

Review 40:The friendliness of reception staff

Review 41:Room very chilly in evening. Air con/heating controls not worked, all we got were blasts of cold air and noise from ventilator.

Review 42:Very efficient polite staff. Location good for travel into London.

Review 43:There was no shampoo on the first day of our arrival. We were skeptical if we will receive new towels at all. The TV did not turn on and some of the lights did not work. No free wifi unless down in the lobby. After several days when our comment card was received, the TV did work. We had one channel and sound kept jumping around. Our station is South Harrow and I liked that it was a brief walk to the station. We also had a police station right next door.

Review 44:It was merely a place to stay with a roof under our heads. Didn't interact with the front lobby much as we were always in and out.

Review 45:Too much bleach lol smelled a little like a swimming pool to start with... but I guess it was clean at least. No free wifi.

Review 46:Value for money, great air con, comfy sleep

Review 47:Heating/ventilation/airconditioning very noisy Very expensive wifi ( free in most hotels now ) very limited parking available

Review 48:Good sized room, very comfortable bed Good continental breakfast

Review 49:The view from my room and I thought the pillow was uncomfortable and gave me a neck pain.

Review 50:Location and overall it was beyond my expectation if I'm honest.

Review 51:Although I had requested a parking space there was none when I arrived. Very little street parking available. Not a good hotel if you have a car. Self service breakfast was abysmal. The hot food consisted of a tray of dried up scrambled egg and a tray of baked beans! Very few restaurants within walking distance.

Review 52:The room was a good size and clean and air conditioning was nice, if a bit noisy.

Review 53:Windows didn't close or secure properly in one of the rooms and a little noisy from street at night but that couldn't be helped really.

Review 54:Useful polite staff and nice rooms

Review 55:Friendly professional staff, close to tube station. Huge flat screen tv!Some thought went into the decor - separate drinking water tap, hot powerful shower, non slip floor in bathroom, vinyl floors so no yucky carpet and you can see that everything is clean.

Review 56:Location; very little reason to go out and about in the area unless you catch a train/bus to the centre. Few proper restaurants. No night life. Wouldnt walk aroudn alone at night. Brilliant for business travel i guess.

Review 57:Substance over quantity. Nothing fancy. Just the bare essentials one expects in a hotel; but delivers them well at a relatively affordable price

Review 58:No parking no wifi TV channels did not work staff un helpful until I made a complaint ,there were no complaint form when I asked only critique form .i ask to speak to the manager where I was informed he only worked 9 till 4which is uneceptable I shall not be returning to this hotel unless parking is improved and free wifi is available. £10 per night for wifi is unexceptable

Review 59:Location and room cleanliness

Review 60:Hotel in need of a refit very old fashioned and dark. Breakfast was buffet Style but Only two hot items.

Review 61:Budget hotel clean and comfortable bed.

Review 62:lack of parking. It was offered, but declined after booking as no room left. I understand it happens, but this is one of the reasons I chose the hotel. i had to park on a an estate a short walk away.

Review 63:Big room, great shower (with pressure), lovely clean, comfy bed., Big airy windows and very good breakfast. Really nice staff and all night reception. Makes me feel safer.

Review 64:The batteries died on the tv remote!

Review 65:The place was very clean and comfortable, there was free parking and the tube is only a few minutes walk away. Also a lot of shops just down the road including some decent eating places

Review 66:None

Review 67:Location to tube station. Police station next door, makes you feel secure. Very soundproof rooms. Unexpected free use of a safe and an added bonus of tea and coffee.

Review 68:Not easy to find with Google maps. Had to ask for directions from local.

Review 69:Secure car park, next to police station felt safe, easy walk to Picadilly train station trip to London easy. Supermarket close fresh food available.

Review 70:absolutely great place staff really helpful and an extra bonus we were upgraded thank you and had parking. Would definitely book again thank you all.

Review 71:Breakfast OK, but could have been more options, especially on the cooked side.

Review 72:Clean, comfortable room. No frills, but everything you need for a business traveller

Review 73:Fridge was very loud - did not have anything in it (which I only found out in the morning), if I knew this I would have switched it off at the mains.

Review 74:Decor/location

Review 75:Although the staff were very helpful and kept the breakfast on longer for us didnt feel the breakfast was worth the money we paid for it

Review 76:The hotel was lovely and clean, apart from the towels and bedding smelt a little of cooking

Review 77:First member of staff we spoke to on reception was just finishing his shift and couldn't have been more rude and unhelpful if he tried. Apart from him the others couldn't be more helpful.

Review 78:Helpful staff and lovely rooms

Review 79:Breakfast was a complete let down and not worth the money.

Review 80:Room was clean , bed was really comfortable. Close to tube station. Reception were really helpful when we arrived really early for check in .

Review 81:Distance form city centre, but London is huge so being in Harrow did not actually seem that far!

Review 82:The staff were really lovely, hotel is very clean and not far from the tube.

Review 83:Wifi was only in common areas and not in room, however I was only there for one night and so it didn't bother me that much.

Review 84:The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom, perfect for one night and would have stayed there for a few nights.

Review 85:Breakfast let us down, thought it was of poor quality & recommend not to book a breakfast based on the menu offered & the price paid for it.

Review 86:good location, nice staff, comfortable room.

Review 87:Nothing against except possibly lack of proximity to restaurants, not exactly the hotel's fault!

Review 88:Guy on the desk was very polite and helpful, arranged a parking space for my over-sized vehicle in the fenced space (next to the police station!). Room was spacious and comfortable for a budget hotel. Ticks all the basics box (clean, comfortable bed, effective shower). Good supermarket 5 minutes away to grab essentials. Happy to recommend.

Review 89:As usual we received excellent service an the staff is fantastic at making one feel welcomed. Having stayed at the Eurotraveller Hotel, it was quite wonderful to be remembered and received so warmly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located and there is easy access to all London's attractions by bus or tube. Will definitely be returning.

Review 90:Restaurant and bar facilities, but not a problem as local cafes and bars nearby

Review 91:Near to local shops & Underground station. Spacious clean and comfortable room. Good shower

Review 92:Parking, helpful staff, great breakfast, big cool rooms, amazing shower, good lighting and tea/coffee facilities. Big windows and great working area. I must confess, I know Harrow very well and I didn't except that luxury, security or service. Well done!

Review 93:could not open a window. matress and pillows so plastic that they induced sweating. baked beans for breakfast have to be heinz as cheaper are horrid also scrambled egg mix is not very nice

Review 94:24 hrs. desk well manned, helpful,,chearful, polite. loads of hot water. no clutter. nice view. public services and resteraunts near

Review 95:Staff were missrable we had traveled all the way from Worcester and no greating at all which I have never experience in all my years of staying in hotels , I work as customer service supervisor and they need more training

Review 96:Location was great for family party and it was clean and comfortable

Review 97:Breakfast buffet is a bit pricy for what you get. Wifi was slow, better if used in the lobby. They give you 1 hour free (check for a special including 3 hours free per day).

Review 98:This was my second time to stay, and both times had similar experiences. The room was quiet, even though facing the boulevard, with air conditioning and dual glazing. Reasonable size, clean and comfortable. A clean bathroom with adequate pressure, even on the 5th floor. Elevator. Limited parking in hotel lot. Getting around was a snap, well located. Google has a hard time with directions, take Picadilly from Heathrow to Acton Town, change toward Uxbridge, off at South Harrow, 1 bus stop or short walk NE on Northolt. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricy for what you get, although there is a Waitrose with cafe a block away. Wifi was slow, better if used in the lobby. They give you 1 hour free (check for a special including 3 hours free per day).

Review 99:That wifi & breakfast is not included.

Review 100:I loved it here very polite staff made me feel welcome & liked my room very spacious and comfortable & clean.bathroom was nice too.

Review 101:I really enjoyed my week-long stay at the Eurotraveller. I found the staff to be very customer oriented and if I had an issue, it was dealt with swiftly. I was impressed.

Review 102:make sure you book your taxi in good time if you need one ...

Review 103:location , clean, smart, and in its own way charming, stuff helpful and polite , you were not treated like a number like in some of the other big hotels... staff around at main desk which is good for solo female customers late at night.

Review 104:Breakfast bit expensive for warm beans and scrambled eggs for an English.but you did get continental.also parking bit of a promlem

Review 105:Staff very poltr and helpful. good size rooms with a view.32inc TV. good comfortable bed.will go back again

Review 106:Booked parking but told there was none available. However there were numerous spaces free in car park. When I insisted we have a space we got parked.

Review 107:Decent size room handy for transport links.

Review 108:nothing important (restaurant under renovation- for too long -.no carpets in room )

Review 109:quietness , view - large window , interior space , well planned . entrance door set away from main area , adds to privacy .

Review 110:Face flannels and a larger bath towel would have been nice but this is not a complaint.

Review 111:The hotel was very close to the tube station. The room was clean and comfortable for my young son and I. The breakfast was reasonable for the price. Concierge was very helpful with parking.Next time we visit London we will use this hotel.

Review 112:The only downpoint is it would be nice to have 2 armchairs to sit on during the evening in the room. The sofabed is not very comfy to sit on.

Review 113:The staff are brilliant and the hotel is so clean, it's still like a new building even though it's been open quite a long time. It's our favourite hotel and have stayed many times.

Review 114:Lights did not work Shower was broken They put us in a disabled room and we did not like it

Review 115:Broken shower Lights did not work Disabled room - we did not like the room

Review 116:This hotel provides excellent value for money. The location is better than it seems - a 20 minute walk to the fast Metropolitan line to Central London

Review 117:The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was good. We had a good nights sleep in a room facing the back which was very quiet even though hotel was full. If we needed to stay in this area again we would have no hesitation in using this hotel again.

Review 118:The show head didn't work and there could have been more breakfast choice.

Review 119:Clean, efficient and the check in staff was very helpful and pleasant. Also, free car parking was great!

Review 120:Parking was difficult in a very small car park. The only breakfast option is a continental with the addition of beans and scrambled egg, both of which were luke warm. Coffee was an extra £1.50 for half a take-away cup.

Review 121:Hotel was extremely clean.

Review 122:Later breakfast times would be nice.

Review 123:Location, ability to park car, within walking distance of good pubs with restaurants. Very nice views to upper floors rooms.

Review 124:The club next door and the load music from it.it's location is by a police station so be prepared to be woken up several times in the night by police sirens

Review 125:The room was value for the money we paid

Review 126:Very limited parking. Not especially clean - marks on the sheets, dirty remote for example. Safe and AC not working properly. Shower tray becomes like a bath - poor drainage; drinking water tap leaks (and who sees these any more anyhow?) Pillows too hard.

Review 127:The rooms, including the shower room, are a reasonable size and the window opens. Breakfast is ready on time. Staff are polite.

Review 128:Recently stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and was more than satisfied with the experience. It's great value for money, extremely clean and the staff was very helpful. Normally check in is done at 2pm but we were allowed to check in at noon which I really appreciated! Check out is at 10am which is quite early but the hotel kept our bags for a whole day free of charge. Being next to a police station and having card-activated doors, it is very safe. It is a mere 5 minute walk from the tube and getting to Heathrow airport is quite an easy task even if you're carrying loads of luggage. Our towels and cups were replaced with clean ones every day. Wifi is available in the rooms for a fee. However, wifi in the lounge area is free and works great. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience and will surely visit again if we're in London!

Review 129:no hot water in sink, poor water pressure in shower, staff could use some customer service training, not enough bar staff, waited too long to get drinks (barrel needed changing and then didn't work), private function but no additional bar staff.

Review 130:nice sized rooms

Review 131:Great staff, secure parking, spacious rooms, clean and well presented Handy for the underground into London and a short walk for Harrow town which turned out to be a nice place to spend a day too

Review 132:Wi-Fi in room on 4th floor almost non-existent. Spent a long time trying to get a connection. Breakfast was ok, just, and not worth the money. Wish I'd gone to Waitrose down the road.

Review 133:Room was comfortable and clean. Good sized bed.

Review 134:Noise from disco at night, tiled flooring to corridors offered no sound insulation Bed was uncomfortable with plastic undercover

Review 135:Ample parking, short distance to tube stations
