Review 1：My only request would be a shelf of some kind in the shower, somewhere to put shampoo etc other than on the floor.

Review 24：Some may say that the rooms are small but they are more than adequate. There was a big desk, a refrigerator, coffee / tea making facilities, nice bathroom. The room was very quiet. The location is ideal, across from the train station, and a stones throw from the town and beach. The whole place is just lovely but the best for us was the friendly super competent owner who spoke perfect English and was so helpful to us when I sprained my ankle. Review 25：When the balcony door was open it created a noisy 'howling wind' effect in the room! We like to sleep with fresh air, but not a big deal for one night.

The town could provide hotel owners with a pass for guests,but as with town councils of the world they tend to be short sighted.

Review 36：Excellent location, fell into the hotel from the train station. Very close to restaurants and the sea. The owner Ann was brilliant and looked after us as if we were family. Breakfast selection was very good and the eggs were always cooked to perfection. If we go back to St Jean de Luz we would not even look for another hotel, we would just book Qualys-Hotel Le Relais Saint-Jaques, despite its long title. We loved every minute of our stay. Anyone who has the money can buy and run a hotel, but it is the people who run the hotel that make it good or bad, and Ann made it really good. Thanks Ann.
