Reviews for Kingsland Hotel

Review 1:Bathroom cold with no radiator or heater. Shower temperature did not remain constant whilst in it. Nowhere to hang a wet towel. Towel was definitely not a bath sheet and barely covered me. Basically comfort stuff missing.

Review 2:Décor and space was good. Generally very clean. Bed was comfortable and sheets good quality.

Review 3:Bathroom was small and needed a bit of work on loose tiles. Toilet roll holder was too large and we kept htting it.

Review 4:Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided had a wide range of lovely food. Free WIFI kept our teenagers happy. Closeness to Kingsbury tube was great

Review 5:The hotel is situated on a busy roundabout: very noisy. The double bed was two singles pushed together. The carpet was badly stained. I asked for a wake-up call and didn't get one.

Review 6:The location was convenient. The continental breakfast was fine and staff friendly.

Review 7:Shower needed fixing and shower head needed replacing

Review 8:Fantastic location less than 5 mins walk from tube station. Rooms were large in size. Bed was comfy

Review 9:Idea location for Harrow where we needed to be at 7.00 am next day. Due to us leaving early, staff said we could take items for Breakfast even though it wasnt ready until 7am. Staff very helpful.

Review 10:Beds bit lumpy and bathroom not great but acceptable

Review 11:Having arrived early allowed to check in early also. On departure allowed to leave car longer re a tube ride to Heathrow. Staff outstanding

Review 12:Everything was fine until the morning, no hot water, was told it would need half an hour, an hour and half later, nothing, complained, didn't even get offered a discount. I will not be staying again.

Review 13:Location is fine for getting into central London, although amenities in the hotel are very limited.

Review 14:There was no hot water available on our last day making it impossible for us to take a shower before leaving. Changing the towels would be amazing! The air exhaust in the bathroom was probably stuck or something because it didn't work well. It did make a lot of noise but no air was being sucked out making the bathroom very humid and stinky. We also had difficulties with sleeping because our neighboring guests thought it was OK to just scream and shout throughout the whole night. They were still being very vocal and loud at 4AM in the morning despite being warned a couple of times!

Review 15:It has its own parking lot and it's easily recognizable from the road. Being close to Kingsbury Station was also very convenient since we didn't use our car but preferred to use public transport instead. It was clean and our rooms were being cleaned every day. Breakfast was good as well. The staff was friendly.

Review 16:Small bathroom. The breakfast was strictly veg ( I can't complain about the variety though).

Review 17:Clean and warm place. The staff is friendly and they help all the time. The breakfast was good. The internet worked great. Nice location, free parking. Close to the tube also.

Review 18:Shower had too little pressure and one day the water was not heating up properly

Review 19:Budget-friendly hotel in West-London with parking space next to the hotel; friendly & helpful people at reception, basic but correct breakfast

Review 20:- nearby the tube station - clean and the staff so friendly - have a place to eat at night time - have a parking space - halal food just nearby - everything is good

Review 21:Our daughter phoned the hotel twice and spoke with a member of staff , who told my daughter there was no answer from our room , well unless the phone in our room has a silent ring tone we never heard anything , and we had a knock at the door telling us we need to leave NOW , as past checkout time Christmas morning nice , politeness costs nothing

Review 22:Super staff , fly in from Cyprus arrived late room offered was not very good , we spoke with the manager the next morning we then had a super double bed room and super bath rather than shower , wonderful Christmas morning

Review 23:The only minor point was the bathroom was tiny and could do with an update.

Review 24:Easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful, in particular the young male receptionist who recommended an excellent restaurant and told us the best way to get to Wembley Arena on the tube by using our contactless bank cards for paying the fare. We received a family room which was very light, warm and spacious. Although it was at the front and the hotel is situated by a busy roundabout there was no problem with traffic noise. The continental breakfast was very good. Excellent value for money!

Review 25:Didn't like the taste or smell of the bleach - too much is being used. The breakfast wasn't very filling either.

Review 26:The location was great for Wembley and Central London

Review 27:Beds were not very comfortable and there was not a lift to the top floor parking was tight but did not spoil our time

Review 28:Staff very friendly and helpful and location was ideal

Review 29:Didn't like the noise in the morning. Think the cleaners need to take more care not to disturb people when outside the doors.

Review 30:The bathroom could have been of better quality ie. Shower and sink need updatimg but it was clean.

Review 31:Good location just off the main street and very close to high street with all needed things, bank machines, restaurants, newsagents and a 2 min walk to the tube station.

Review 32:Burned myself on the Slow Cooker ( Beans) at breakfast as the lid was faulty. Hotel is rather warm, which forced us to have windows open on a busy road

Review 33:Hotel is very clean, modern feel, with helpful staff. Good Value for money

Review 34:there chair with a rip in it ....the bleached stains on sheet that covers the divan part of bed ....plus broken toilet seat that pinched ...sadly bathroom could of been design better as like a bit bigger so as not feeling on top of sink that so small u cant get a wash or brush teeth well ....bad designed sinks seems to be common in hotels lately that u cant freshen up with out having a shower to wash ur face so silly

Review 35:it was handy for were i needed to be ....plus the fridge in room was added bonus

Review 36:Bathroom does need a revamp and could do with doing a cooked breakfast on site rather than down the road other than that good service.

Review 37:Friendly staff and good value for money.

Review 38:This was a rebooking because I was so impressed the first time I stayed here. No complaints at all.

Review 39:The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The room is comfortable and well equipped. It is convenient for Wembley and Brent. I don't tend to notice the traffic noise, so that was not a problem.

Review 40:We had 2 beds pushed together to make a double. It was uncomfortable if you slept in the middle

Review 41:I stay Every Year and I love my stay. Staff are brilliant and facilities are great.

Review 42:No bar

Review 43:The staff were really amazing, I booked a twin by mistake and they moved us to a double even though they were very busy.... Could not do enough for us so thank you

Review 44:Some noise from the traffic (front of building), wanted a double and got a triple with single bed made up and in the way, bathroom very compact

Review 45:Location to station, easy access, nice size room, decor clean and fresh

Review 46:very noisey due to inconsiderate guests slamming doors at all hours and need some kind of noise reduction on door frames to muffle the slamming of the doors

Review 47:the price and cleanliness

Review 48:Kept awake all night by arguing family next door . Ended up checking out at 2 in the morning . We did not get an official apology from the hotel . Would not stay in this hotel again.

Review 49:Near to tube station

Review 50:Bin men came at 5 in morning :(

Review 51:Close to tube, free parking, varied places to eat and drink in the vicinity,if attending an event at Wembley would highly recommend.

Review 52:Sink so small it was virtually impossible to get any water in the kettle. Bathroom very small. Breakfast room very small. Breakfast disappointing.

Review 53:Staff quite good

Review 54:Not really a negative more being picky, but could not connect to Wifi...not sure if I was provided with the correct details but was only there for one night so not end of the world!

Review 55:This was our second visit. Fab location, approx 40 mins into central London on tube which is just across the road. Free car parking makes the room rates even more attractive. Just off the M1 and easy to get to. Rooms basic but comfortable. Breakfast sufficient.

Review 56:Room was cold, toilet had mess that was not flushed, shower was dirty. Too noisy as you could hear the traffic.Duvet was so thin, Breakfast was limited, beans with toast, no eggs and located in such a small room. Did not accommodate for all guests.

Review 57:Location was good

Review 58:Couldn't really find any negatives.....

Review 59:This is a spotlessly clean establishment with a great breakfast choice also free parking and in a great location for easy access to central London, will definitely use again.

Review 60:Television didn't work properly so when you return in the night there was nothing to watch. Shower wasn't very clean, abit of mould.

Review 61:Really friendly staff. Really good location, only 2 minute walk from the tube.

Review 62:The room was very basic and a little tired around the edges. Breakfast wasn't served until 7 am which is a little late for the city.

Review 63:Good location and free parking. The 24 hour check in was useful as well.

Review 64:The hotel is located on a busy roundabout so there is a lot of traffic noise if the window is open.

Review 65:The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. For example, there was no problem in my leaving the car late on the day I checked out because I was using public transport that day. The continental breakfast was included and very good value. The rooms and decor all had a fresh and clean feel to them. I particularly enjoyed having a fridge in my room. It so happened it was Divali while I was staying there so from the second floor I had a brilliant view of multiple firework displays going on all around me.

Review 66:The main problem was the roundabout directly outside the hotel is noisy from about 5 in the morning to 11 at night, car horns and general traffic noises throughout the entire stay.

Review 67:It was all in all a very nice hotel, within walking distance of the tube station, I would stay there again.

Review 68:Free car parking, good location to Wembley arena. Excellent choice of continental breakfast. Friendly helpful staff, would stay again if visiting Wembley.

Review 69:Roundabout that it is positioned next to is extremely busy with traffic and heard lots of emergency vehicles during the night and lots of horn pipping!!

Review 70:Located close to the Kingsbury Tube station for easy access to central London. Good eating places close to Hotel for evening meal.

Review 71:Bathroom was absolutely tiny, and the so called "de-luxe" triple room was a complete waste of space. The room was well overdue for a refurbishment and the bathroom was not very clean. Breakfast was inferior with no cooked option.

Review 72:The staff were extremely pleasant. Hotel was located in a very good area for parking and tube.

Review 73:The staff in the breakfast room did not speak English. The bed was like sleeping on the floor; it was so hard and uncomfortable.

Review 74:Simplicity of stay arrangements, checking in, parking. All very good.

Review 75:The hotel is located on a very busy roundabout but I must say much of the noise is removed by glazing. The reception area is of nice appearance but the room finishings are really poor (loose fittings, mould in shower cubical to name but two examples) and many of the hotel finishing are in need of repair (e.g., wood on stair banister needs re-sanding / coat of paint). Very poor value for money.

Review 76:The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Review 77:I had booked a twin and a double yet the rooms turned out to be two doubles, one of them a small double. The mattresses were poor quality and sqeeked. You could hear the next room turn over in bed. The bathroom was clean enough but small and the shower was not very powerful.

Review 78:location was great and parking was free. The breakfast was simple but good. Easy access from the Motorway and M1. Staff were helpful

Review 79:Had a family emergency (death) the manager was not sympatic at all didn't even offer a half of a refund . I explained the situation and he just said I can't do nothing for you . I paid for 5 nights !!!very unhappy with customer service.

Review 80:Only down side bathroom to small. And no number in room if need to ring reception.

Review 81:Every thing was great and staff were good smiley and cheerfully.loved the breakfast.

Review 82:small breakfast room felt crowded with 3 other couples in there at same time. But kept clean & well stocked. Thin walls too!

Review 83:Comfy clean rooms with good tea making facilities. Bathroom could do with up dating.

Review 84:Breakfast buffet had no hot food and had very little to choose from. After staying the night, I got spots all over my body, more than likely due to a bed bug infestation. bathroom was really small, especially shower. building is lacking staff.

Review 85:had a tv

Review 86:the bed was soooooo hard and sadly had inconsiderate idiot stayiing opposite who insisted on letting his door slam shut each time he went in or out!!

Review 87:Good location, warm welcome, dont let the outside look decieve you, very nice inside

Review 88:Had room at front on a very busy roundabout with much traffic noise even at night

Review 89:Clean, modern, very fast internet that allowed VPN use. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast

Review 90:Very noisy on busy roundabout. Lack of facilities such as bar and restaurant. No cooked breakfast

Review 91:Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Close to local bars and shops.

Review 92:We didn't have the continental breakfast as we preferred something more traditional so we used the 20% off voucher from the hotel at JJ Moons nearby for a bargain breakfast.

Review 93:Very approachable courteous staff. Our room was facing the back but considering the hotel's on a roundabout and all our windows were open while we slept, we weren't disturbed by traffic noise. Nice and close to Kingsbury tube station.

Review 94:Only criticism was the size of the bathroom. Tiny for a family room that was sleeping 4 of us. Not even room in there to get changed, which made things interesting with me and my 3 teenagers (2 girls and 1 boy). Also the kettle didn't fit under the taps, so we had to use bottled water or the very low pressured shower to fill it.

Review 95:The room was clean and tidy. The hotel appeared to be recently renovated and had a good quality feel about it. The location of the hotel was so good for catching the underground into London and also not too far from Heathrow - depending on when you travel of course. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Perfect hotel for our needs and had a car park too.

Review 96:No bad experiences, this is the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.

Review 97:Excellent base for Wembley. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Wi-fi was fast and reliable (and free!!)

Review 98:The rooms are a little hot but there are fans available if you ask so its not really a problem at all.

Review 99:We booked this hotel last minute, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also had an extra guest on the Saturday night and they were more than happy to move us into a bigger size room. And this was on the Rugby match night so we was very grateful. My wife even left her pillow there and they found it for her :). I would definitely recommend and go back there again.

Review 100:The bathroom was very tiny with outdated interiors. Definetely needs some renovation ! Breakfast also needs to offer more variety.

Review 101:The room facilities were really good! And I was overall pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room .

Review 102:No bar. No cooked breakfast - the "continental" breakfast consisted of a selection of cereals, yoghurts, bread, drinks and beans (for some reason). 20% off at Wetherspoons down the road just didn't cut it!! Breakfast room is very white with white floor, white faux leather chairs etc. Seemed very cheap - not my cup of tea!! Very basic bedroom. We asked for a double a received a family room with three beds. Dirty cracked tiles in the tiny bathroom. Even the wash basin was cracked. Shower was not powerful enough. Filthy net curtains. I mean - horrible! Switch for the bedside lamp crackled when I turned it on. Noisy location - woken by sirens at 7am!! Noise from corridor - you can hear people outside the room as though they were in the room.

Review 103:Nice reception. Polite staff. Decor in stairway is cool. Lovely building in a nice & convenient location.

Review 104:Located on busy noisy roundabout. Had to wear earplugs at night. Bathroom rather small. Safe didnt work

Review 105:Comfortable room. Located well for travel into central London. Buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate.

Review 106:The printer in the lobby for guest use was a little difficult to work out

Review 107:The ease of getting to the hotel, the comfort of the hotel and having a fridge which came in handy

Review 108:no warm breakfast but if you wanted you could go to a nearby pub (wich had great and very cheap food!!) and get a discount on their breakfast. The bed was a bit to short for me and so was the duvet and the shower. I am 1.75 m. The matres was very good. The room was very hot!

Review 109:location to Wembley was fantastic. If you took the jubilee line and then switched to the metropolitain line it takes you 10 min to get to centre london. If you stay on the Jubilee line it takes much longer.

Review 110:The bathroom was a little bit small.

Review 111:Very clean and well decorated hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Really clean room and comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was very good with a selection of cereals, yogurts and breads.

Review 112:Not necessarily a bad experience, but the breakfast area was crowded and we did have to wait for a table to become free (although in fairness it was only for 5-10 minutes)

Review 113:The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. We were visiting for a sporting event and stayed the night before, the staff allowed us to leave our vehicle on the premises after checkout to enable us to take the tube to Wembley making the experience more fun four our children

Review 114:-breakfast rather limited -needed a cot bed which provided but without proper mattress so unusable -small bathroom with noisy steam extractor working hours after switched off light

Review 115:-good location close to underground -free parking -free Wifi -free breakfast -friendly stuff

Review 116:I have request a separate beds and when I have arrive they have informed me that they don't have one. And they have just repairs a toilet and it is been a terrible smell of the silicone.

Review 117:Nothing

Review 118:I really was most satisfied and do not have anythng to express any dissatisfaction on.

Review 119:Warm welcome from the reception staff, pzrking and conveniently located to pubs, shops and Tube Station.

Review 120:The bathroom was small and while this was no problem to us as we are small. However it may be a bit tight for big people.

Review 121:The situation close to the tube giving easy access to Wembley Stadium and central London. The very friendly and helpful staff

Review 122:When we booked we wasnt aware you only offered continental breakfast Also we wasn't told that we would be woken up at 7am in the morning by other residents as the breakfast room was right next to our room also the kitchen wont be recommending the hotel not stay again

Review 123:There were some stains on a bed sheet and the wall of our room but other than that it was fine.

Review 124:The location was ideal for us, staff were helpful, breakfast was super. Room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Review 125:Hotel is accessible to underground train. There is a free parking though limitted spaces. Staff has excellent service. Will definitely book this hotel again when coming back to London.

Review 126:Booked a deluxe double as reading past reviews suggested this was the room choice to go with, where as family room big, but bathroom was very tiny, so guess what happened when I checked in, I was allocated a family room and one that was facing the busy roundabout with its usual sirens, sharp braking, people shouting etc, I queried the room allocation and was told it was the only room available, and to cut out road noise , then advised to shut windows... So not much more I could do and yes bathroom is very small, and the extra beds were wasted on me

Review 127:Good location, easy to find and near to local restaurants, free and fast WiFi was appreciated and bed was large and comfy

Review 128:Close to shops, restaurants, take away's, pubs and the tube station. Free parking, easy to find, close to the M1, and no traffic issues. Hotel was clean, fridge in the room, friendly and happy staff and it felt a very safe environment.

Review 129:The bathroom in our room was so small that we couldn't really sit on the toilet and when I managed to finally sit on it, I burnt my leg a tad on the sink. One of the pillows had a mark on it, which wasn't a problem as I turned it over, but was a put off. A couple of the staff was really shy-like, would look at you but not acknowledged you, until I said hello.

Review 130:It was so clean and the receptionist was very friendly and polite. Bed was very comfortable as well!

Review 131:Need to close Windows on a night due to the noise of the traffic.

Review 132:Excellent location for our trip. Bars and tube station very close. One tube stop to Wembley. Hotel clean and tidy.

Review 133:The area around the hotel was appalling, dirty and intimidating. We did not have a drink nor eat, we went into London for this. The description of the town on booking.com is misleading and inaccurate.

Review 134:The Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful

Review 135:The only downside for me was that the wifi was not capable of providing enough bandwidth to stream movies, BBC iPlayer etc. My wife was woken by some rather noisy guests around 3am, but that could happen anywhere.

Review 136:Good value accommodation with free off road parking. The bedroom and bathroom were both quite large and clean. The staff were all very friendly. There's a good choice of takeaways and restaurants nearby.

Review 137:Noisy atmosphere, next to the busy round-about with lots of traffic, drunk/strange people screaming in the night, i.e. the windows are not enough to shut-off the noise, no air conditioner is equipped and opening the windows to adjust the room temperature, we could not sleep due to noise.

Review 138:Location, near the train station Free car parking

Review 139:No complaints.

Review 140:It was a lovely hotel. The rooms were a little pokey and bathroom was like a cupboard. Location was perfect close enough to the tube and lots of place to eat and drink. Lovely little Irish bar across the road too. We were going to the Ed Sheeran gig so worked out ideal for getting to and from Wembley and so quick and easy.

Review 141:Classic case of the online pictures not bearing any resemblance to the actual room. Our room was very old and cramped. The bathroom was tiny and very outdated. Their breakfast consisted of cereal and some muffins and croissants bought in from Tesco. Very disappointing and we ended up switching hotels the next day.

Review 142:Very close to Kingsbury station and shops/restaurants. Ideal for people who are attending events at Wembley.
