Review 1：It was my husbands birthday weekend and I had emailed to ask for a good room. The room they gave us was awful - it was at the front of the hotel, on a busy road and was painted a drab army green colour. When I asked the night receptionist if we could change rooms he said they were full and was more interested in watching the football on the tv. We were woken at around 5am each morning by traffic noise and on the last morning our bedroom door was unlocked and opened by staff whilst we were still in bed! The photos on Booking.com are very misleading

Review 14：Hotel Bonaparte was in a lovely old building close to the station & the port. Our double room was very clean, large & quiet, being at the back of the hotel. As we were catching an early ferry to Corsica we didn't have breakfast. It was a good place for an overnight stay.

Review 15：The room was very old and out of date. We felt like it was expensive for the quality of the room and decor. We also had to keep logging into the wifi each time we needed to use it. It was also very hot at night with just a fan!

Review 19：We arrived mid-week for a weekend rugby match so were amongst the first rugby tourists to get there. As such, and because there is no way I could have made it to the 4th floor (no lift), we were upgraded to a 'suite' on the 1st floor. So, unlike many french hotel rooms we had plenty of space & because it was at the back of the building, it was very quiet, although there was no view (unless you're into rooftops & brick walls!). Since we're not fussed about the view, it didnt bother us at all. Staff were friendly & helpful. You need to be assertive here to get what you want (like extra towels).

Review 20：Be aware that there is no lift in this hotel. My room was on the 4th(top) floor but was not a problem for me. Staff will carry luggage to your room.

Review 21：The hotel is situated in walking distance from the railway station if you have hand luggage. The marina with its bars and restaurants is five minutes walk as is the town center. The staff were always pleasant and some speak good english.

Review 22：No air con on floors 1-3 but I'm told that will be fixed soon under the new owner who will add an elevator too. No English TV channel. Just one for news - please.
