Reviews for Premier Inn London Harrow
Review 1:Rooms can be a little cold this time of year and heating isn't 100% working.
Review 2:Great location close to local train station for Underground and over ground.
Review 3:The extremely long walk to my room!!
Review 4:I did request a room upstairs but had a very long walk up more stairs to get to my room. Really think at a lift would have helped.
Review 5:Bedroom a bit stuffy. Had to keep window open at night. Rather depressing lobby area.
Review 6:Very convenient for Underground (right next to Kenton Station), Sainsbury's opposite and vegetarian Indian restaurants. Buffet Breakfast up to usual Premier Inn standard.
Review 7:The public areas of the hotel were worn and dirty. The reception area smelled strongly of smoke. The bed was far too high. Only two tea bags. I had to cancel the Friday night booking so we only stayed for one night - thankfully. I had paid £167 for the two nights so assumed the rate would be halved. We were charged £94 for the Saturday night. Very poor value for money. By comparison we paid £99 the previous week to stay at the 4* Moran hotel in Cricklewood which was every inch a hotel worthy of the cost. It is in central London and far more accessible than the premier inn Harrow. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Review 8:Welcome from staff
Review 9:trashy music during breakfast (I prefer silence) why not better class of bread or rolls with breakfast?
Review 10:good location. free parking.quiet rooms (I don't mind trains!) free wifi
Review 11:The room had a very strong smell of damp reception staff where informed on our first night, but had no reply back to this
Review 12:The car park and easy access to transport. Breakfast was great. Reception Staff made my grandchildren feel very welcome.
Review 13:When checking out we commented the room was very hot. The member of staff just told us we should have contacted them. He was not helpful. As a consequence we did not sleep!
Review 14:The location was excellent
Review 15:The wait staff at the attached restaurant was beyond rude. I only recommend the pub not the restaurant.
Review 16:The beds and cleanliness of the hotel were outstanding.
Review 17:Location was poor nothing in or near hotel 20min walk to anything, hotel is over two separate buildings, the toilet keep filling in room which was loud and annoying when trying to sleep if you having a weekend away in london I'd avoid here only really handy for going to Wembley stadium
Review 18:If your going to Wembley and nothing else perfect location, night shift staff where fantastic had to get bed sorted that day staff never did she came and did it herself
Review 19:When going down for breakfast, I made an enquiry about gluten free. Whilst I was told there was gluten free bread, I was trying to find out if the sausages, hash browns and beans were ok as I was starving. The waitress didn't have a clue and made no effort to even go and ask the chef. Whether this complaint comes seperate under the beefeater restaurant I'd love to know??? Just so I can launch a complaint with them.....
Review 20:The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The cleanliness was absolutely fantastic.
Review 21:Reception area is on a separate building from the rooms The sliding bathroom door was difficult to close and not able to be closed fully
Review 22:Helpful staffs
Review 23:Didn't like how high the bed was. Dunno if that is the norm in london whilst the tv was low. The lock on the bathroom door was broken. The curtains was hard to pull. No electric sockets by the bed for phone chargers. Dont think it was value for money ie I would have expected more when I Paid £257. The WiFi didnt reach the bedroom. Had to go next to the toilet or the door of the room to get WiFi.
Review 24:Like the Location which was next to the tube station. The members of staff were really friendly and excellent customer service specially the cleaning staff. She was amazing. Thank you sooooo much. My gf was poorly but the cleaning lady didnt mind the excessive trash we had.
Review 25:Wi Fi decided to end it's boundary at the room door leaving the only options of sitting in the small foyer to plan our following days adventures... or paying an additional premium for usable wi-fi
Review 26:Absolutely super reception staff and dedicated cleaners
Review 27:Room was on 3rd floor and it was not straight forward to get to it. No lift available. As my wife has difficulty with her walking/breathing she was not happy. No alternative was available to us. Buffet style breakfast was good but had to wait 10 minutes whilst bacon and eggs were cooked.
Review 28:Location and free parking was brilliant for our stay. Evening meal in restaurant was very good.
Review 29:Breakfast the staff could not get the food out quick enough, need to have more fa utilities for the hot food for breakfast
Review 30:Was really nice, close to Wembley and underground
Review 31:Very rude & unhelpful staff. Offered an uncleaned room with used towels & cigarette stubs in the room. Asked to leave & staff wouldn't refund monies paid upfront. Had a ghastly experience in the hotel
Review 32:Location
Review 33:The hotels we would have liked to have stayed in were fully booked as my elderly parents who were staying for 5 nights need a fridge, iron, telephone and toiletries but I was disillusioned that the price of these hotels was the same as the premier inn price where there was none of the above as there was only a bed and towels. I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the hallways and the fact the wifi did not work and when I told staff they told me to go to the register area to use my ipad instead of giving me a satisfactory answer for me to use the ipad in privacy of my own room.
Review 34:Not a bad experience just found the shower pressure not very high. Also suggest toilet paper be changed as so much is wasted trying to get a decent piece from the dispenser.
Review 35:Room was large and bed comfortable. Beefeater was good. Staff were helpful and polite.
Review 36:Service at the bar was very poor and the staff were very unfriendly,On our first night we had dinner at the restaurant and was not impressed with the food,We also eat breakfast here on Friday morning and was very dissapointed fried Breakfast was Cold, The Tea was just awful,Had to pour the Hot water out of a flask,(to have a proper cup of tea the water should be boiling and if its not the tea is not good) I would expect better at the Premier Inn,We eat again at the restaurant on our 3rd. Night and every thing was good,I Had the steak and it was delicious,my wife had the chicken and she said it was good and my mother in law I cant remember what she had but she said her food was also good,Was expecting to hear noise from the passing trains but not enough that it would bother me
Review 37:The Reception staff were very friendly and helpfull,The Location was excellent just accross the road from the Tube,200 yards from a Sainsburys supermarket,
Review 38:Many steps and doors to negotiate to room. Would be difficult for some and no lift available. Carpets in Public areas would benefit from a good clean.
Review 39:Close to tube station. Approx 40 minutes Bakerloo Line to Central London. Staff all very friendly. Good buffet English breakfast.
Review 40:Was put in a disabled room!!with only one towel on both nights the wife struggled to have a bath due to the disabled bars around the bath Very frustrating!!!! Never had this before in a premier inn
Review 41:Friendly staff as always
Review 42:Being woke up at 6 in mornibg by fire alarm bacon very under cooked
Review 43:The room was spacious bed was very comfortable staff was friendly and helpful especially a lady called Lana.
Review 44:Room was very cold as air conditioner was left on and heater was not working to heat room up resulting in me going downstairs to fetch mobile heater ..... Not good on cold wet night
Review 45:Heating not working so room cold. Receptionist sent up a workman who came back a few times then said he needed to find a contractor. No one else came and when I rang back he'd gone home!
Review 46:Clean room good location
Review 47:The restaraunt was not clean at all. Cutlery dirty and when reported all we got was ok but we are busy. Had to wait for a table at breakfast but staff were not communicating has families who turned up after us were seated straight away, The restaurant was very old and tired but this is no excuse for not being cleaned.
Review 48:Not enough people doing the breakfasts they run out of things really quickly and you had to wait a while for more.
Review 49:Fantastic location right next to two tube stations for easy access into London, really comfortable beds, I would definitely recommend this place.
Review 50:breakfast was awful.. Hardly anything there had to keep asking for stuff and eggs were cold! No orange juice.. On the upside it was cheap as kids ate free
Review 51:Staff lovely, beds comfy, free parking and opposite the underground
Review 52:Being left at the door for nearly 30 minutes One member of staff workingall night to deal with 200+ rooms No help Parked on street even thoughcar park but no staff to open barrier Worst hotel stay no staff Leftcomplaint but nothing came of it lucky I'm a journalist and can makemy own review and let the public know never to go to this hotel to stay.
Review 53:The bed
Review 54:Our room had a cot made which was simply too uncomfortable to sleep on. Luckily we didn't need it.
Review 55:Great value and close to the Tube for easy access to London. During our 2 week tour of England and the UK we stayed in many B&Bs, hotels, and one hostel. It was a relief to finally stay in a reasonably priced hotel which was very clean and comfortable with friendly staff and reliable wi-fi.
Review 56:Children found the beds really comfortable, and really enjoyed staying in a family room. Breakfasts were delicious. Would definately recommend staying here, central to everywhere and staff very friendly and helpful.
Review 57:Area - Unfortunatley the area of the premier inn was a little grim and roads and streets very dirty.
Review 58:Staff all very friendly especially at breakfast,Tatiana was very happy & helpful.
Review 59:All good, was really just a place fur me to sleep one night and shower in the morning but it did that job perfectly. Really close to the underground and secure perking were just what I needed too. Staff were nice, it was clean etc . . .
Review 60:Bath was dusty/hairy, glasses were dirty and no soft/feather pillows provided which premier inn are meant to do. Bed wasnt made up properly.
Review 61:Liked the location, sound insulation, air con & black out curtains. Mattress very comfy. Breakfast was fantastic
Review 62:Water pressure in general was bad. Shower pressure not so good. Toilet flush was an issue (had to flush multiple times).
Review 63:Location and room was good. Air conditioning was really good.
Review 64:Lift not working, had great difficulty with kids it was extremely inconvenient with room being on 3rd floor One night staff appeared very rude whenever asked anything (extra duvet, put push chair in store room, iron etc), her body language seemed that she might hit. She really frightened us but we had no choice management please act on two major above issues. I have stayed in other premier inns so many times but staff attitude/ inconvience due to lift might make me think not to stay in premier inn anymore
Review 65:Close to station
Review 66:Great tube links, good sized rooms, fab restaurant connected, air conditioning was fab in the heat, kettle and tea / coffee great, helpful staff, late check out... Would stay again.. Right next to tube line but insulation kept it very mild
Review 67:The free internet was pretty poor but then its free so what do you expect.
Review 68:Great location, getting to Wembley was very easy and very quick, the staff were really helpful and even had hand outs with directions to the tube station and how many stops to Wembley etc, breakfast was great too :) I'd definitely stay here again.
Review 69:It could have done with another plug socket at the other side of the bed for a phone charger but that was all
Review 70:The staff were extremely friendly, the bed was lovely and the breakfast was gorgeous
Review 71:When we arrived the lady at reception tried to put us in 2 different rooms which was all still been cleaned so we ended up been out in a user friendly room which had a strange smel (no chance to address situation as Going to a concert) when we got back our clothes smelt so damp and horrible. Went to reception and we was "allowed" to move rooms but the receptionist came with us to "check out the smell" and disagreed there was no smell!
Review 72:The location was very handy for getting to Wembley stadium, and also the free Parking pass was a good idea.
Review 73:Unfortunately our air conditioning was broken going on and off all night so room was very hot and a)c unit when working was very loud so didn't sleep, but was given a refund. Just an unfortunate issue, but no ones fault would happily stay there again.
Review 74:Great location for visiting Wembley.
Review 75:on arriving back to the hotel at 11.30pm, the attached pub was closing so we could not go in for a drink, we found this unusual as most hotels we have stayed in previously have later opening times for guests
Review 76:We were going to Wembley Stadium to watch a concert so location was ideal as not to far or expensive to travel
Review 77:it was a bit of a hike to our room and there was not an obvious lift service.
Review 78:it was very "premier Inn~" the same standard you expect in the bigger areas (city centre)
Review 79:Window ledge in beefeater completely dirty full of spider webs and dead flies (breakfast time)
Review 80:The hotel itself was fine, receptionist friendly and helpful and bedrooms nice and clean. Wifi hit and miss. However the man in the beefeater I found to be quite rude when asked about seating. Breakfast was good, quite a bit of choice, would stay again as perfect place for exploring London.
Review 81:The only negative was that I was trying to call to let them now I would be checking in very late and no one answered the phone until the 5th call, but understand it was a busy weekend in London, so they would have been very busy.
Review 82:All staff where very friendly and helpful. Always happy to help.
Review 83:No mention of free wi-fi and saw no signs about this. Breakfast ran out quickly and had to wait 10mins for it to come out.
Review 84:Was very comfortable and clean. Staff happy and helpful
Review 85:Close to rail line, but triple glazing in room with aircon so noise not a problem
Review 86:Walkable distance to Wembly Stadium to see AC-DC concert so did not have to wait for a tube with 72000 other people. Good carparking facilities and full English breakfast served until 11 am.
Review 87:Possibly my preference goes to Premier Inn because I know the standard and what I can expect. Wi Fi has not been working from the evening to the following morning causing incoveniences for my job. Never happened in a Premier Inn beoforehand
Review 88:Not one of the purpose built Premier Inns and not in the most salubrious area. Definitely not the Harrow you imagine, despite the name. On a side street next to the railway and seems to have been converted from other buildings. Hotel is like a rabbit warren with corridors going everywhere. It can take a while to get to your room. Some rooms are internal and sit over adjacent pub, others face the busy main railway line to the Midlands. Adjacent pub is a Beefeater and it is not great. The food is just ok and the service not great. Food was piling up in the kitchen with no-one serving it. Plenty of staff but no-one seemed interested.
Review 89:Location to tube is good Rooms are clean and tidy and reasonable size
Review 90:Would have liked more fresh fruit at breakfast. Also fresh milk in the drinks dispensing machine in reception would gave been great as we didn't like the milk in the room
Review 91:We asked for a ground floor room when booking and the room we got was perfect. Good size and everything you'd need for a short stay. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was ok, would have liked some fresh fruit (like a whole apple or banana) at breakfast but there was plenty to choose from and it tasted pretty good. There was a good sized carpark which we left or car in while travelling into the city. The hotel is close to the train line but after a little while we didn't even notice the trains going passed. Its proximity to the underground made it really easy to get in and out of the city (20+ minutes to Paddington). The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We would throughly recommend this hotel to all.
Review 92:The only fault was the breakfast. The continental was fine but the cooked breakfast wasn't great. Just didn't taste fresh at all and seemed as if it had been sat there for ages.
Review 93:The location was perfect, just close enough to everything and the rooms were a lovely size and had really comfortable beds.
Review 94:We stayed here purely as we had an appointment at St. Marks Hospital and it's in a great location for this with just a short walk away. The staff on reception were very friendly. Great customer service.
Review 95:Poor service in restaurant for breakfast, there were plenty of staff, it was not particularly busy, however I had to ask for breakfast to be topped up, then had to wait while the waitress had to replenish each empty container brought out one by one, there appeared to be no sense of urgency although a queue was clearly starting at the counter. Following my problem with the cooked breakfast, I was disappointed to find no bowls for cereal breakfast!! Rather than have to ask again I compromised, and had yogurt with a milk jug of coco pops!!!. the evening meal the night before too was not a great experience as the guy at the bar taking our food order was not particularly friendly.
Review 96:Lady at the desk checking in (Jo) was very friendly and welcoming. As we arrived earlier than expected our designated room was not ready, however she checked to see if another family room was ready for us to enable us to check in which she sorted for us almost immediately. Great customer service!!!
Review 97:The bar staff were a bit slow Bar staff could a bit more pleasant
Review 98:Our room was ready at 14.00hrs Staff were excellent nothing was a problem to them Very comfortable
Review 99:No lift to main building, not to bad for us but hardly had any luggage with us.!!
Review 100:Location was fantastic for Wembley a short walk to northwick park station and only two stops away
Review 101:we were given a disabled room with a tiny very low down bed for 2 people. i dont think it was actually a double room! it didnt smell nice & felt more like a hospital room. we have enjoyed staying at premier inns before and had assumed that this experience would be similar. I had called in advance and asked about the nearest tube station to wembley and was told it was 2 mins away but this turned out to be more like 12 mins.
Review 102:nothing
Review 103:For the three nights I was there the heating unit did not work. I woke up day one with a soar throat and sinus running as I was vey cold all night. I was given a portable heater and told the room would be checked. On my return I was told the unit was fixed, but it was not. Cold air blew out of the unit around 1 am. I shared again, and nothing done. I was told I would get a credit for one night, and that has not been taken care of yet either. I did ask for a manager to call me because not once did they ask if i wanted to change rooms or work to accommodate me. Only two of the staff were very helpful.
Review 104:No Lift!
Review 105:Comfortable large bed, room and bathroom. Quiet location. Secure off road parking. Nice helpful staff. Reasonable Beefeater restaurant attached to hotel.
Review 106:I didn't sleep well at all due to being next to a train line which messed it all up and resulted in me very tired the following day.
Review 107:Staff were pleasant and profession, went above and beyond.
Review 108:No fridge in the rooms as this forces you to eat out, also no phones in the rooms which for some people is very important.
Review 109:Location,comfort and having the Beefeater next door made life easy.
Review 110:The only negative thing would be having a room right next to the entrance door, we heard a few loud guests arriving back to the hotel early hours. I booked the room late notice however, so u wasn't expecting the room of my choice and was still happy with the room given!
Review 111:My partner and I stayed for one night only but thought the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely!
Review 112:The Beefeater restaurant needs a good clean as the air con unit above the breakfast area is full of dust.
Review 113:Location is ideal for a wembley visit as rail link is great.
Review 114:No shampoo, just shower/hair gel No room safe No iron / ironing board No hairdryer No minibar
Review 115:Friendly welcome, bright, well lit, clean room. Good breakfast. Good value.
Review 116:The room I had was the closest to the railway. So, despite the triple glazing, it was not the quietest place as you can imagine. Bearable though.
Review 117:Typical Premier Inn room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything you need for a short stay. Good location, it takes about 40 minutes to go to Oxford Circus.
Review 118:Rooms are basic but perfectly fine for one night if you're on a day trip.
Review 119:Convenient next to the tube and pub next to the hotel, staff were excellent. Food was good, room was clean.
Review 120:Noisy guests. A couple of 'those' hairs in the bath!
Review 121:Near St Mark's hospital. Noisy neighbour dealt with quickly. Good Night Guarantee promise upheld. Polite staff. Secure car park.
Review 122:Only one large towel for a couple in room and only one hand towel(Should of been two of each), TV/Aerial wasn't plugged in correctly(fixed myself).
Review 123:Easy to get to and park, very close to a London Overground/Underground train station for days out. Pleasant staff, cosy room.
Review 124:Free WIfi quite slow - faster wifi costs extra Close to railway line - noise and vibration from trains all day and night - may not suit some
Review 125:Location ideal for the tube (Kenton) to the centre of London Free car parking Fantastic bed Clean and tidy rooms Inexpensive
Review 126:It was just the trains passing and literally shaking the room. It was very dirsuptive to the nights sleep
Review 127:The staff were friendly and the room was fine.
Review 128:nothing..
Review 129:Tube station across the road for easy access to London, approx 30min to Piccadilly. Free parking and plenty of it when we stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a standard Premier inn, clean and did the job well.
Review 130:I didn't like transferring my disabled daughter from one building to another for meals. It was most unpleasant especially when it was raining.
Review 131:The staff. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Even the staff in the Beefeater were very helpful
Review 132:It was very cold. The whole night despite the fact that heating was lefton, on maximum heat! Bath did not drain properly at all. Thesafety/overflow hole wasn't draining at all. When removed theplug to let water drain a bit lots of dirty scum gets in the bath. Veryunpleasant! Some light didn't worked. Despite fact that the hotelwas empty they put us in the room closest to the railway line outside, which wasn't very helpful to get quiet night...
Review 133:Comfy bed
Review 134:Noise from train track could be heard. Walk from car park past hotel to reception only to walk back to hotel....Makes sense if you stay, just inconvenient.
Review 135:Close to centre of harrow. Staff were very friendly
Review 136:The Beefeater it is attached to was useless. !St day around 11.30arrival no staff to order coffee and a snack. At 19.00 that night nosteaks on the menu - in a beefeater! At breakfast I was shown wherecoffee toast & cereal was, someone would come for my breakfast order-20 mins ;later I finished my cereal & toast breakfast & left !Added to this the Air conditioning "heating" in bedroom which meant noise & heat or cold & quiet it was no my best experience in a hotel. Immediately cancelled my Maidstone booking with Premier Inn
Review 137:Location to tube and railway station
Review 138:To get to the room wasn't very comfortable with a child and a stroller. There was no elevator, only stairs. But that's only a minor 'problem'.
Review 139:It was a nice and large room. The room and bathroom was very clean and everybody was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and there was a set of extra pillows in case the others were too soft. The hotel is located near a tube station and close to a supermarket.
Review 140:The rooms are typical Premier Inn quality, fairly basic but adequate for a one night stop over
Review 141:The friendliness of the staff, despite them having to work on Christmas day the staff were bright and friendly.
