Reviews for City Lofthotel Saint-Etienne

Review 1:Bed was uncomfortable, pillow too thin. Room next to the streetcar. Still waiting for my wifi code that I was suppose to get by text message. Breakfast really expensive for what it was.

Review 2:Location is really nice in the city center. Rooms are very clean

Review 3:Not sûre if there was a car park. Name of hotel had changed récently and we were not notified. It is now City Appart Hotel.

Review 4:Very large appartement with everything needed in kitchenette and bathroom. Ironing boards etc. 2 tvs .dvd player. Long size bed.

Review 5:I can't imagine finding something better than this in this price-range. Nicely appointed and actually, relatively spacious rooms. Right in the mix of Saint Etienne

Review 6:The only thing that I did not find to be perfect is the cleaning schedule. Stay up to three days - you get daily cleaning. Four days, and the room is only cleaned at the end of the day. That's all right, of course, the pro's far outweigh the cons! Book here!

Review 7:This is a very large and new appartment hotel perfectly situated in Saint Etienne. At the time I was visiting, the value-for-money was almost ridiculous. By including ironing board and iron and the outfit of the rooms, to me it far exceeds its 3 Star rating. The rooms are large and feel lofty with a very nice and high ceiling. I had a room to the road with the tram coming by from time to time, but the windows provide terrific noise isolation.

Review 8:Bed is very firm. Not enough pillows ( although we didn't ask for more)

Review 9:Lovely extra toilet, laundry and baggage store along corridor makes life easy.

Review 10:iPhone can connect to WiFi but can not launch Safri to connect to network. I have two iPhones neither of them can work with the hotel WiFi. Using IPhone on the street close by the hotel, the WiFi can launch Safri logon page. Connection to Internet is very important for business travel.

Review 11:We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is very central in the beautiful historical city centre with everything in walking distance. Style and layout of the hotel are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money!

Review 12:City noise - not the hotel's fault. Just have a pair of ear plugs with you if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping.

Review 13:Apartments were well equipped - ideal for a week being able to make your own breakfast and meals as you wanted. Mini supermarkets and fruit and veg shops within a short walk. Rare to be able to make tea/coffee in a hotel room in France. Apartment Hotels are much better.

Review 14:Pillows too soft. A toaster and an oven would be a great bonus. For a one week stay it would be nice if one towel change/service was included. But really nothing serious at to complain about.

Review 15:Perfectly located, on the tramline, walking distance to centre and old town, supermarket, restaurants and shops. Excellent staff, extremely polite and helpful always. Easy, secure and cheap parking a block away. Quiet rooms, very well insulated. Great view of street, good air-conditioning, well equipped kitchenette. Everything we needed for a week's stay for a family of four. Comfortable beds including sofa that converted to 2 singles. Excellent apartment.

Review 16:We liked everything

Review 17:Wonderful location. Helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful clean rooms with convenient kitchettes and comfortable beds. Even the sofa beds were good and allowed for two people to have separate beds.

Review 18:We only stayed one night but the room was just what we needed, was well equipped and immaculately clean.

Review 19:Could have done with some coffee and tea sachets in the room.

Review 20:Nothing not to like ..only thing some might find difficult is the parking

Review 21:Stylish sccomodation with self catering

Review 22:103€ for night is a little bit to much for accommodation like that

Review 23:Good location, near a big parking low cost

Review 24:pillows too flat and small

Review 25:location and size of the apartment-comfortable beds-wi-fi very good

Review 26:Nothing to complain about

Review 27:The apartment was nice and spacious.

Review 28:Dreary décor. Not a great breakfast

Review 29:Convenient and efficient.

Review 30:Position

Review 31:Facilities ok but not brilliant.

Review 32:Centre of the town and friendly staff.

Review 33:There is no hotel parking. Another disappointing is hotel policy to clean up the room once per week only

Review 34:good air conditioner

Review 35:Good wifi. Bikes could be stored in room. Supermarket in Les Halles at 30 metres. Easy to make own dinner and breakfast.

Review 36:clean, modernized accommodations

Review 37:Central location. We requested a quiet room not facing the main street and they did. Good value for money.

Review 38:let's think ....hard ! the smell in the lift ;-)

Review 39:Very well located, very convenient, comfortable and clean, special deal made it affordable

Review 40:very clinical, characterless, institutional like corridors, parking nearby is challenging

Review 41:staff very helpful, large room, minimal but very clean

Review 42:Convenience. Clean. Spacious

Review 43:convenience

Review 44:Internet wasn't working

Review 45:Everything was OK

Review 46:Room was smelling cigarette Poor breakfast for the price

Review 47:Desk Location

Review 49:Lovely apartment in a great location. Very reasonable parking nearby

Review 50:Room size, deco, overall feel

Review 51:We liked location as it was convenient to centre of town and a short walk took you to many eating places.

Review 52:Parking our car (2 m height)

Review 53:Nice studio with comfort In the center of historic saint etienne In the middle of the shopping area

Review 54:Good location, very well designed building. New apartments impeccably furnished.

Review 55:Very bare-bones facilities; Spartan furnishings. Felt like an Airport hotel.

Review 56:Big rooms, fully functional kitchenette, wiFi, good location.

Review 57:We liked the location - centre of town. Having kitchen facilities was also a bonus as it allowed us to self-cater for some of our meals and to plan our food choices/diet. The front counter staff were helpful and the facilities are modern and very clean. Adagio Aparthotels are a new option for us and we have already changed our accommodation in Rome to Adagio. It is a pity that Adagio Paris is so expensive, or we'd have changed that booking too.

Review 58:The bed is hard. The wifi was spotty. Couldn't get some apps to load. Staff did a good job helping out though.

Review 59:I liked the decor and the room was well equipped.

Review 60:that in order to reduce the price with longer stays they stop the daily cleaning.. so I did not consider this a reduction in Price ..if the reduced a service against this reduction of money...

Review 61:Nothing to complain about.

Review 62:Situated right beside the tram stop and with many shops surrounding the apartments it was ideal. Will definitely be staying here again. Staff were very friendly and also spoke english which helped. Rooms were fabulous, very spacious and fully equiped with flat screen tv, microwave, iron, hairdryer, heated towel rack etc.

Review 63:long hallways -not good for elderly or if you have mobility problems unless you get a room nearest to lift-if have wheelchair no problem at all

Review 64:accomadation and location-facilities very high standard

Review 65:Very expensive breakfast. It d better take french breakfast outside

Review 66:Very good price quality!! In center of the town.near tram for trainstation.very clean.free internet.

Review 67:The breakfast was deplorable and mostly inedible with very little variety on offer at the unreasonable cost of 10 euros 50 cents. In my case this was for a boiled egg which I had to cook myself and a bread roll. Much better to walk down the street to the boulangerie instead.

Review 68:The room was quite spacious with a comfortable and firm bed and modern furniture plus a kitchenette with a large fridge. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

Review 69:Adagio Saint-Etienne was perfectly suited for our needs; we had one of the apartment style rooms. Extremely well equipped, clean and very smartly decorated. Very comfortable stay, would stay again in a heart beat. I highly recommend this hotel for a longer stay.

Review 70:studios for 2 are very small compared to the studio for 4. Lack of car parking - one nearby but a pain when its snowing and raining to move your luggage back and forth.

Review 71:family studio excellent. stayed several times, very good location in Saint Etienne, really good value for money and always very clean and warm

Review 72:no freezer, room not cleaned or serviced at all in a 6 and half day stay, a rug on the living room floor would have been nice

Review 73:Central position, well-designed flat, comfortable bed, plenty of kitchen equipment

Review 74:No complaints.

Review 75:Location, rooms, staff.

Review 76:Breakfast could be improved

Review 77:Cleanliness

Review 78:The weather, dead cold.

Review 79:Dead clean dead centre dead smart. Dead good value

Review 80:Bed was extremely uncomfortable as it was so hard

Review 81:Location, cleanliness, accessibility

Review 82:The apartments are very spacious with all mod cons and the location was excellent with parking nearby.

Review 83:Excellent location, good value for money, spacious rooms with kitchenette, friendly staff.
