Review 3：Great location in quiet Ottrott a few kilometers from busy Obernai. Great restaurant with dinner and wine served on the tree shaded terrace in nice weather. Very comfortable hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Good size well appointed room. We will be back.

Review 10：This is a lovely property in Ottrott near Strasbourg. We were there for only one night, but it was very comfortable. The restaurant is run by the owner Monsieur Fritz who is very friendly. We were tired and not dressed for the dining room, so we were graciously served dinner in the very comfortable lobby by Madame Fritz and her staff. The next morning we had breakfast that was amazingly delicious. It wasn't included, but well worth the price. Parking was included in a private lot right next to the hotel.

Review 15：We did not eat breakfast in the hotel as it was extortionate at €16 per person. Even the 'formule express' was not good value at €7 for a croissant and a coffee. If you can wait until 10:00 for breakfast, you should go to Jennifer's tea rooms in Ottrott.

Review 17：* The "suite" (by definition more than one room connected with each other)we had booked turned out as one room with three beds. * The two lights at 2 beds were not working. * W-Lan was not working in the suite and we had to get access downstairs in the lobby. We finally requested to change and could move to an apartment with actually two rooms. Here, the bathroom was much too small. The toilet seat was totally wrecked and looked like a late 80's remnant "from Russia with love". This hotel is definitely overpriced.

Review 45：L'ami Fritz was a gem. Ottrott is a strategically located village for exploring the Alsace Wine Route as well as the Vosges Mountains. The hotel was charming, rooms comfortable and quiet, hotel staff very friendly, and the hotel owner chef offers wonderful gourmet dinners, Breakfast is served in a delightful room and is excellent. Great location for hikers -- some wonderful trails into the Vosges and for wine enthusiast, you can taste wines in Ottrott as well as visit many nearby villages and wineries that also offer wine tastings. Close to Mont Sainte Odile which is definitely worth a trip for a fantastic view.
