Review 1：The carpet in the room I stayed was not only dirty/filthy but also stinking,the TV cable trailed on top of a hot radiator which was s Health and safety high risk of causing a fire. A blanket was provided instead oo a duvet and cover, as a cover can be washed after use, wonder whether the blanket was washed after each use. The shower head was loose which made it difficult to direct water where one wanted.the old chair in the room had very dirty cushion covers, and the curtains were dusty and in contact with a hot radiator posing a fire risk. There were no paper towels in the toilet and the toilet roll was of the cheapest quality that peels off when wiping.

Review 3：Location was excellent for proximity to Heathrow, which was our reason for this last stop on our trip. Staff very helpful, room comfortable and breakfast good.

Review 4：Very typical English house, keeping in good condition. Small garden outside, small car parking. Very kind and friendly staff. Breakfast is standard English but well done. The location is a good starting point if you have to get to Western London by car.

Review 9：It was very basic. Our TV wasn't working and was told it couldn't be fixed. Bed was not comfortable and to top it off, the shower was blocked so nearly flooded the bathroom.

Review 25：Based on our understanding of the hotel staring system and taking into consideration the standard and types of amenities that we would expect to be there, it's much more of a strong, two-star (out of 5) hotel. Quality of fixtures, fittings and decor were very basic. The door to our room didn't close properly and there was one plug socket for the whole room. We had a stained pillow (unfortunately forgot to get a photo), and no tea or coffee facilities in the room (although a shared kitchen was available). The breakfast area was sparse, and the actual food was extremely poor quality. (Please don't put poached eggs on your menu if you can't poach an egg.) When it came time to check out (we were downstairs right at 10am) no one there to take our payment and we had to stand around and wait for someone to arrive. It's also worth mentioning that Furnvial Lodge is on a residential street where we could hear shouting and people coming and going late into the night.

Review 26：The manager was very polite and jovial. Apart from the pillow, the room and the whole place was very clean. They have a gorgeous garden that they should really make more of (a few tables and chairs and even an offer for breakfast outside would go a long way). And it's only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Windsor.

Review 27：The owner/staff waited for my 1am arrival and made the check in quick. I only needed it for a 4 hour sleep but the room and bathroom was very clean.
