Review 1：The lift was out of action and nearly stuck when there were 4 of us in it with NO light whatsoever.

Review 2：Nice, bright room with modern décor. Good breakfast and cheerful room. Very good value for money.

Review 7：In the heart of a lovely area yet extremely quiet. We chose to have breakfast at the boulangerie across the street and the baguette for my "tartine beurrée" was delicious.

Review 8：The room was very dark as it faced a small internal courtyard and the windiw had semi-closed shutters. The shower doors would not close so we didn't get to use it. The bathroom door would not stay shut, when closed.

Review 10：Double bed wasn't really a doble but two single beds joint toghter and overall was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast is not worth the price. If you drive you may wanna consider that the hotel has no free parking.

Review 12：Nothing really negative to say. Our room only had a window to a small internal light court - no real problem for us as we were only staying overnight.

Review 13：Great and helpful staff. We were able to park right outside the hotel for free as we arrived late and left early. Good location to catch the ferry and for a nice walk around the area. Our room as well equipped and after a hot day the AC was very welcome.

Review 14：Air conditioning broke on our second night (June, so was uncomfortably warm). Bathroom was very cramped- barely enough room to close the door, or move between the sink and the toilet to get to the shower (and we're both quite skinny).

Review 15：When it worked- the air con. Good location for site seeing- short bus ride to cable car ride up mount faron, and approx 15 minutes walk from the beach and port. No option for breakfast, but less than 50m from a boulangerie (and a few restaurants).

Review 16：The pedestrianisation of the surrounding area is not the fault of the hotel, but after a long journey to be 100m away and to take 45m of endless driving to understand the problem was a big downer on the stay

Review 37：Very old hotel. Renovated a bit. Room was small for 3 person. Toulon as a city is not recommended to travel, there is nothing to see more or less.

Review 39：Finding it! The Hotel is located within the old town and the approach is very hard to spot. We did a fraught tour of the town before we finally found the Hotel, as did our friends.

Review 41：The only criticism I have is that the wifi signal on the top floor, where my room was, was very weak, it came and went, and sometimes I had to walk down two or three flights of stairs to be able to send an email.

It was just two singles pushed together and it was uncomforable. The rooms could use a decor update. They were pretty ugly.

Must have beenwritten by local friends or staff because the reality did not match. Webooked an upgraded 'plus' room for seven nights. A greatdisappointment. Very poor facilities. Very overpriced. No safe depositin room or facility in hotel. Paper cup in bedroom and a teabag each perday (if they remembered to refresh. Hanging space very poor ( a footwide and four hangers). Air con not working (not hot enough apparentlyfor hotel to switch on!) Lift broken - when on the fourth floor this isimportant. And a very dangerous internal spiral stair case - very badlylit, if the lights were on at all, to use. Breakfast overpriced at 9eper person. Has it twice but never again - far better at local shops.Breakfast staff surly and very reluctant to refresh breakfastingredients - everything was too much trouble. And one of the worstissues. Very noisy at night. Although in a pedestrian area - this allchanges at night when at 1am plus all the garbage trucks came out intothe area, followed by other lorries and vans to stock hotels and shops-five hours of constant horrendous loud noise. And without air con itmade the room unbearable to sleep in. Toulon itself was reallyinteresting but book to stay somewhere else

Review 51：As seems to be the norm in France, we were asked to pay for our stay onarrival. As in other instances we refused to do so. Why pay for aservice you have not received? We experienced little opposition and paidon departure.
