Review 1：Went for a Christmas market day off. Location is excellent, really nice staff in the hotel, excellent restaurant. Room is very nice, you can see how old and romantic the building is. Very recommended!

The restaurant food was great and traditional Austrian...was expecting the same for breakfast. Instead, the breakfast was less appealing than breakfast at Ibis :(

Review 19：Excellent location in the main Old Town square immediately below the stunning Melk Abbey, yet quiet. The whole small hotel is beautifully decorated, from the whitewashed walls to the cork flooring and easy chairs on the landings. The bedroom had lovely wooden doors, a beautiful carpet, excellent lighting, and a smart bathroom. A really lovely hotel, and incredibly good value for money.
Review 20：No A/C and the room felt hot in the night. When opening the window mosquito would enter. WIFI signal is weak and devices would disconnect repeatedly. Bed is not rigid enough and walls are paper-thin. Breakfast is correct. It is not a bad place to stay but it is a bit overpriced for what you get (although I feel it is a common thing in Melk)

Review 22：Lovely newly renovated hotel. Loved the owners, staff, and facility. They brewed the best beer that we had in our entire 3 week Europe vacation. It was very hot when we were there, A/C would have been nice, but we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!

Poor soundproofing of the walls, could hear what's on TV next door. Breakfast was rather basic, but expected given the price.The entrance was quite difficult to spot as we came from the train station
