Review 1：The room and the rest of the hotel is badly needing refurbishment. It is very outdated. My room floor was very creaky and was on a slant when you walked towards the window. The window had a crack. There was mould/damp on the walls. There was not a proper duvet, more like a blanket within a duvet cover.

Review 3：The décor is poor paper pealing off walls in parts .The doors were not clean spilt tea that was on the door and wall when we arrived l still there when we left .Shower dirty ,ceiling peeling ,toilet leaking and the whole of the bathroom walls were not clean The only upside was the towels and bed Linen clean .Our breakfast was cold both mornings This hotel I would not recommend to my friends or anyone
Review 4：Furniture and fittings (except for bathroom) looked tired and worn. Although there were illuminated signs advertising the restaurant, there was actually no restaurant at the hotel.
Review 5：The location was good, close to Slough centre, and the room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped.

Review 8：Staff was unhelpful and customer service was poor. Facilities were dirty and very shabby - there were stains everywhere, a tear on the pillowcase, the pillow was thin and uncomfortable. I requested for two beds and didnt get it despite the fact that there didnt seem to be anyone else staying in the property. The doors squeaked loudly when you open and close. The bathroom looked unclean with lots of stains. There was something that looked like black mold on one wall. It was the filthiest hotel Ive ever been in, and the most unhelpful staff Ive encountered. The receptionist would not even get up from her chair to assist.
Review 9：Location was the only positive thing,if you need to be near a hospital or the train station.

Review 16：Reception took a payment from my card without my knowledge/approval despite the fact that I was up in my room. They had kept my card details from a previous stay!! During one stay, the packing tape-wrapped TV remote stopped working. I reported this to reception expecting a decent replacement but I was handed another tape-wrapped remote. Felt like I needed to wash my hands every time I used it. Wifi signal was terrible

Review 21：Very basic - no hair dryer - no wardrobe or cupboard in single room- no quilt (blanket in quilt cover) - I asked for an extra cover blanket and was told there was one in cupboard but no cupboard - uncomfortable bed. Family room no bed for child he had to sleep on sofa we had to request a blanket for child staff were reluctant to offer one!! Staff on reception not very helpful polte or inviting.

Review 23：We got one towel so we asked for another one. Went to lobby to borrow a hair dryer from a locked cabinet. The tile in the shower had black mold in between, he soap rack was hanging on the wall, toilet seat broken, no plug for the sink and no shampoo, rinse....unbelievable!!!

Review 29：There was a bad smell as soon as I walked into reception and then when I walked into the separate building where my room was. The door to my room didn't shut properly and I didn't feel comfortable or secure. When I left for work the next morning and returned back to the hotel in the evening, I arrived to find a key in my door - which the cleaner had left (or so I presumed). I am glad I didnt unpack and took my belongings with me to work as anyone could have easily entered my room and stole property. The staff at reception didn't make eye contact when communicating and overall I felt like I'd made a mistake by booking this hotel.

The curtains didn't draw closed without leaving a gap in the centre or the outer edge there were to small The beds moved on the laminate floors as they are on wheels The room had a cupboard with 2 ironing boards but no iron? Review 31：I had to hold the shower in my hand, the roof slanted so I could not stand up straight in the shower and I am only 5 foot 7". I could not leave the bed room window open due to pigeons getting in even though the weather was very warm.

Review 35：As soon as we got to the reception the staff were arguing with one another. She was very rude when checking us in. The bar was closed by 930pm and they wouldnt also let us play pool. We used to customer toilets and my feet were ankle deep of water, when i told a member of staff she already knew it was flooded but we had nobwarning as there wernt any warning/caution signs. The plug to the kettle was black like it was due to explode. There was only one cup in the room so we had to share to have a cup of coffee/tea. Overall id advise not to stay here, this place is appauling and is not worth the money at all, debating a refund.

Review 37：We were horrified at the mould in the shower and the stench of cigarette. The girl at reception hardly stopped playing with her phone to take our morning or tell us where to go or breakfast. Not sure the curtains have ever been washed by the thick layer of dust we could see.

Review 43：The room was of a very poor standard. There wasn't even a real duvet, just a blanket that had been put inside a duvet cover! It was a double room but with only 1 towel! We went out to shops- upon our return our bedroom door was wide open with no one to be seen anywhere. Anything could have been taken! The lady who checked us in wasn't very polite when I went in to enquire if we could check in early and then charged us incorrectly for the stay. Not very organised. Didn't make it down for breakfast so can't comment on that- but we missed it based on the fact that everything else was so poor we'd be better off going out for food!

Didn't even get a proper duvet just a blanket in a cover also only 1 flat pillow each cant even sit up in bed and overall looks a bit scummy compared to other hotels in the area for theme price and to top it all off on arrival the staff never mentioned breakfast was from 7-9 and It was 9.02 they told me no breakfast is between 7-9 so I asked if I can buy a breakfast even though I had paid for it they still wouldn't so unless there isn't anywhere else I would strongly recommend not staying at this so called hotel.

Beds were gross, no under blanket, mattress stained, dooner was an old blanket wrapped in a sheet, pillow stained, bed sagged & was itchy. Dirty underwear found in bedside side table, staff informed, they said they would clean the room in the morning. Money took 4 days to be refunded back. Hotel is so over priced.

Yes it's basic, but you are paying a third of the price of the 'mainstream' hotels. Fine if you just need a bed for a night or two somewhere central. And breakfast, car parking and free wifi included too - somewhat of a rarity, the likes of TravelLodge and Premier Inn add all these little extras on top

Suffered a chilling night without much sleep as room was large and we have to endure the portable heater blowing directly at our bed. Second night, the heater was working. 2. The heart to give good service is not there. Check-in was only about collecting of payment and the finding the room etc is on our own. Room was not properly prepared with towel for one person instead of 2 as recorded at the time of booking. 3. Breakfast was a quick rush as their excuse was they must clear up the restaurant as the renting time was up at 9 a.m.

Review 89：Hotel split into two buildings. Building number two door wouldn't open. Skyways solution? Leaving it on the latch for anyone to come in. I was terr for four nights so God knows when they will fix it but seriously, leaving a front door on a latch for anyone to enter the premises is wholly unacceptable. Do not stay here I can not emphasise this enough. Rooms do not get cleaned or beds made either but that was the least of my worries when you're looking out for intruders at all hours.

Review 101：The alcohol fuelled f'ing and binding being yelled from the bar across the hotel as we walked in was not a good start. It made me think that this was a contractor type hotel more suited to hard drinking construction workers and not my 20 year old daughter who I had booked in. The receptionist reclining in her chair while playing on a mobile phone as we walked in. The fact that despite the booking.com website saying that my card would not be charged until I got to the hotel, and that my card number was only to confirm my booking, the first thing the receptionist said was 'I've charged your card already.' If we were late I'd understand it but we arrived around the time I said. This meant that despite the wild west atmosphere I couldn't exactly turn the room down as I'd already paid.

Review 121：Bedding was not clean and in the end we slept on top of the bed using a blanket out of our car. Duvets comprised of sheets wrapped round blankets which smelt of tobacco. Cheapest room available but you get what you pay for.

Review 125：Size of the room - The room I stayed in was massive. I had 2 2 seater sofas, a 1 seater, a kingsize bed, a massive bathroom and loads of space. There is a bar and restrant on site, they do takeaway too, the quality of food is really good.

Review 127：Upstairs, everything is tired and knocked about from years of use. All the floors creak; you hear everyone's movements in the corridors and rooms above. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms basically furnished, but the hotel section is very tired and needs refurbishing.
Review 128：The hotel and the bar restaurant area are separate entities. Downstairs, in the bar and 'Italian' restaurant, all is new. Large screen viewing lounge and a three table pool room which also act as waiting areas for tyhe 'Italian' takeaways. Bar and menu prices are fine as is the service and the food. Breakfast is taken in the Italian section. Cereals, fruit juice and toast readily available and a cooked 'full English' served within minutes. One small sausage, one rasher of bacon, one fried egg and one tinned plum tomato. Served with a smile and small pot of coffee.
Review 129：I booked three single rooms, on our arrival I was told that the hotel had made an error and there was only one single and a twin available, I was then told that we could have the room at a discount and he would only charge us £60 for the twin, this was the same price as on booking.com. The only reason that I accepted the rooms was because we had driven a fair way and it was a bit late to try and find another hotel. The twin room was overlooking the main road and there were some contractors staying at the hotel who decided to sit in the beer garden and make a noise until the early hours. I will not be booking the Skyways Hotel again.
