Reviews for AEC Vacances - Les Becchi
Review 1:Staff are not at the desk after 19h30, the elevator is shut down after 23h00 (we had to carry our stroller and sleeping baby up two flights of stairs). Breakfast ended at 09h30 and we were not informed...
Review 2:Location was close to the center of Samoens. Building looks good from outside.
Review 3:Wifi not available in our room had to be in lobby/lounge areas. Though breakfast included all kinds of hoodies, breads cheeses meats cereals milk fruits (kiwi, orange banana) coffee tea jams honey hazelnut spreads etc.... We just really wanted eggs. Which were not served and so we were a bit sad.
Review 4:The hotel itself is very comfortable with many lounging areas inside and outside. The pool was fantastic and the sauna was wonderful especially after our hiking. The only inconvenience was that the rooms provided for booking.com clients were in an attached older building with no wifi. To access the network we had to be in the lobby/lounging areas while we would have preferred to be in our room where our things are for updating our finances, itinerary, plans etc. This was not such a huge inconvenience and I would still highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so wonderful and the facilities were very tidy.
Review 5:It was all great :). Food was a little basic perhaps but the village contained lots of restaurants to visit :)
Review 6:Perfect location, stunning scenery. Short walk into town. Lots of daring activities and walks in the area. Beautiful pool and outside grassy deck chairs to soak up the sun :). Will go back with my family
Review 7:The dining room was more like a school canteen and our room was very small with barely enough space for all our kit.
Review 8:The location was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was probably the best bit.
Review 9:It was French half term and there were many French children. They were happy but noisy. This meant for instance that we chose not to use the bar.
Review 10:The food was very good and plentiful, although it was clear that you needed to arrive at the restaurant when it opened to be sure of a seat. The room was small, but adequate for a couple.
Review 11:the young girl in the kitchen was rude to everybody there were piles of hair in the bathroom behind the pedal bin!
Review 12:the lady in reception was excellent the pool and sauna were the room was comfortable
Review 13:Bed room a little small, lacking storage and uncomfortable pillow. But did not spoil wonderful stay.
Review 14:Location, staff, meals.
Review 15:The room was well equipped and always warm never too hot.
Review 16:Indoor pool
Review 17:Parts of the hotel could take some renovations to claim 3-star. Staff are a bit "millitant"
Review 18:The swimmingpool is worth the stay -25m and warm! The rooms are basic, but fine
Review 19:No cleaning done during our stay.
Review 20:The food was good and the evening meal especially was excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive and helpful.
Review 21:The check-in after 16.00 and the check-out before 10.00 makes the stay very short if you are staying only for one night.
Review 22:The room was nice and clean. The swimming pool was really good, with the water heated at 30 degrees. There is also a pingpong table and a baby foot for the rainy days.
Review 23:No personal feel whatsoever. When we arrived the staff were not very friendly and made little effort to make us feel welcome. The hotel felt like a leisure center and the room, whilst clean, had no charm. It felt like we were on a school trip. We opted to eat the buffet dinner, and whilst substantial, the food was low quality. Too many children running around!
Review 24:They had everything you would expect for the price of the hotel. Nice breakfast. Family friendly if you have children.
Review 25:Awkward reception hours not open till 5pm ,lift out of order for 3 daysand we were on the 3rd floor!, Carrying bags from parking area,
Review 26:Very good value, excellent room, wide range of facilities includingheated pool, good value 4/5 course buffet meals with wine includedfor 15euro,unique village vacance experience we stayed 4 days but 3 daysmay be enough of an experience - and we slipped out for a gourmetmealjust for a change
Review 27:This hotel was more like a boarding house than a hotel. The rooms are incredibly basic and the beds uncomfortable. The "apartment" has no facilities apart from two single beds pushed together for a double bed, and a very small bathroom. We paid for the larger apartment, but it was just two basic rooms with an interconnecting door. The reception was open limited hours. We attended a wedding in the area, and returned to the hotel with our two children after midnight to find the entire hotel locked. Our room key would not open the door. What hotel locks out its guests? This was an unsatisfactory hotel and we would not stay here again.
Review 28:Our children enjoyed the pool area.
Review 29:Rooms a little small and basic.
Review 30:Nice location, close to village and ski lift. Nice pool.
Review 31:Swimming pool closed at 7.30 pm
Review 32:Convenient
Review 33:Small Rooms
Review 34:Great Location and value
Review 35:Very friendly, good value for money in terms of the meals. Lovely food and pool. Lots of entertainment.
Review 36:Extremely small room, staff does not speak English, no character of the facility,
Review 37:Big Swimming pool, sauna
Review 38:Friendly staff always on hand to help and with a smile. Also enjoyed my evening meal, 15 euros with added bonus of free wine on tap
