Reviews for Résidence La Cour

Review 1:There was no kettle in the small kitchenette and no mugs for a cup of tea, only espresso size cups. Boiled water in a pan to make a cup of tea and used glasses as cups.

Review 2:the location to the village centre and the main Samoens gondola. The bright airy lounge with wifi access. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 3:Breakfast was ok for €7. Better option is the bakery by the lift.

Review 4:Convenient, relaxed and rustic place to stay. Quiet and close to the main lift and to the town. Perfect place to stay on a budget.

Review 5:Not much I didn't like, but then I wasn't expecting a Four Seasons! It really is the perfect "fit for purpose" base.

Review 6:If you expect a luxury hotel then you'll be disappointed, if you hope for a friendly practical base for skiing that honestly close to the main lifts then you'll find this perfect. Likewise the town centre is a 5 minute walk.

Review 7:These did not spoil my experience at all, but I wish kitchen accessories were better in the apartment, breakfast was more hearty and wi-fi access greater

Review 8:My stop was really positive. The apartment was roomy and clean. The apartments are well placed for a short stroll to the ski lift, a bakery and into the centre. The hydro-facilities are modern and welcome and the staff are friendly and accomodating. Its a tranquil, laid back hotel that suits the tranquil town, I could understand why many visitors were returning

Review 9:Nothing. This isn't the Ritz but there is nothing to fault.

Review 10:The accomadation is well placed, very friendly and excellent value. The staff are not always there but are fantastically helpful.

Review 11:Nothing, but don't expect luxury, smart restaurants and bars etc within the residence. The bar is open early evening only and the residence is not staffed for 24 hours.

Review 12:La Cour is neither a hotel or apartment but a residence of partially serviced apartments. It is very well placed for beautiful Samoens and for the Ski lift. The staff are superbly helpful and friendly. The rooms are simple but very clean. I cannot fault this, or their other residence, Giffre et Clesson.

Review 13:No dislikes

Review 14:Location, friendly atmosphere created by the owners, pool, jacuzzi, restaurant and in particular the Tuesday dinner where guests were invited to mingle.

Review 15:Could have been cleaner, no wi-fi in the rooms, rooms a little cramped

Review 16:Good central location, great swimming pool, nice lounge area, helpful staff

Review 17:Limited wi-fi !!

Review 18:Was very clean and tidy and the spa area is outstanding.

Review 19:Very helpful people

Review 20:Location to ski lift and to the centre of Sameons was excellent. Not the most modern facilities but extremely comfortable

Review 21:we had small room with tiny kitchen, not very clean. Internet only in lobby.

Review 22:wellness but only available from 5pm - 8 pm.

Review 23:Good location both for the village and access to ski lift. Friendly staff. Very good to have hot tub

Review 24:Room a little dated, so don't expect the ultimate in luxury

Review 25:Great facilities and value for money in a pretty resort

Review 26:Location and spa facilities

Review 27:To much time to serve the food

Review 28:The situation and the food

Review 29:Room cleanliness & space of rooms

Review 30:Place, surroundings, Sauna & Hamam in the apartment

Review 31:Breakfast was basic (but not expensive)

Review 32:Friendly, helpful and hospitable owners. Comfortable apartment and public sitting room. Great facilities (hot tub etc.) Great location near the Grand Massif cabin lift.

Review 33:The location of the place is brilliant: close to the main lift Grad Massif and two minutes walk from the town/village center. It is quite and cosy, feels more like home than an anonymous hotel. It has a great reception/common area, with big French windows, all sunny and lit up. It is daftly subdivided into smaller areas so you don't have to disturb others if you'd like to spend time there but you can be social if you like. We rented one the studios; the kitchenette is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. Finally, I have to say that I do not agree with the guest Stina above who write that you cannot sleep before everyone else is asleep. Neither I nor any of my family had any problems sleeping all the way through the night. The owners are nice, generous and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel.

Review 34:The room was tiny and there was barely room for 2 of us. The decor was very poor and in need of updating. Would rather have paid a bit more for a better standard of accommodation.

Review 35:The location was great - just a short walk to the ski lift and also into town. There was a room to leave skis and boots which was handy.

Review 36:WiFi only available in the communal areas. Although we rented a 4 bed (one double and two bunks) apartment, it would be a very tight space for 3, never mind 4. Fortunately there were only 2 of us so space was ok. The kitchenette had a combined sink and electric hob!!!! all on one small surface.

Review 37:Really near to the ski lifts but on a quiet side road. New spa area with steam room, sauna and hot tub. Lovely wood burner in a cosy bar/TV lounge area.

Review 38:Ski depot in the house didn't have these boot warmers to get ski and snowboard boots dry. That's the only small criticism.

Review 39:- Facilities exceeded expectations massively (really nice wellness area and breakfast room) - Very clean, very tidy and overall very pleasant - Great value for money (best I've ever seen in the alps) - Good location (close to town center and lift area with good facilities available) - Very nice owners and staff - Nice powder on the slopes

Review 40:Our group of 5 adults stayed in one of the 2 bed/1 alcove apartments on the top floor (roof). The apartment was quite cramped/cosy, so make sure you are good friends! Kitchen facilities are basic, but fine for preparing breakfasts/snacks.

Review 41:Well priced accommodation in a great location. 10 mins walk from the grand massif ski lift and the beautiful town centre. Very clean accommodation with daily cleaning included in price. The wet / relaxation area with sauna, hot tub and steam room is perfect!

Review 42:Balcony didn't close securely. Kitchenette was very outdated didn't have a kettle and had a leaky fridge

Review 43:Beautiful location absolutely breathtaking and very close to the ski lifts. Friendly staff

Review 44:There is little après in Samoens. The locals say they are working inthis but it's more family orientated.

Review 45:Excellent place to stay in Samoens. The gme lift is 5min walk as are anumber of ski hire shops and 360 ski lessons. The town is only a shortwalk away too with great bars and restaurants. A supermarket is alsolocated close by. La Cour has an awesome spa including a hot tub, massage room and sauna. The village is a short (1hr) transfer from gvamaking a short ski trip efficient and comfortable.

Review 46:Shower was hand held in Bath

Review 47:Location for access to village and ski lift. Perfect

Review 48:The low ceilings in the top apartment!

Review 49:The relaxed style

Review 50:Location for ski lift and village, friendly staff , warm and comfortable and excellent wellness centre

Review 51:studio for 2 a really small

Review 52:the kindness of the Managers
