Review 1：The entrance and reception area are very cramped. Though parking places are available directly outside the hotel, these are public and usually taken. You may have to park a considerable distance away in high season. Unloading can be difficult therefore.
Review 2：The hotel is close to the harbour and the town. The alternative restaurant below, which doesn't need reservation, serves some of the same food as the upstairs restaurant more cheaply.
Review 3：Breakfast was poor value for money. Cleaner was obviously a smoker as each time we returned to our room we could smell fresh cigarette smoke. Our friends room was very bijou, although ours was fine.

Review 9：Hôtel L'Ostrea is a nice small hotel in the beautiful village of La Trinité-sur-Mer. Right on the spot for all sailors and regatta guests. Very helpful personel, good breakfast and lunch. In the evening the restaurant is one of the best places to wine and dine.
Review 10：Little noisy with restaurant patrons beneath. Bed sheets and mattress protector don't tuck in because too small so you become enveloped in them as soon as you lie down. Small complaint though. Sweaty plastic mattress cover.

Review 23：Room was small and noisey. Could hear everything - people walking up the stairs, a romantic couple enoying themselves ! and the traffic outside.

Review 27：-There was no information whatsoever in the room regarding breakfast times, TV channels, availability of Wifi, the local area - nothing! -Breakfast was a total rip off. It cost 10 euros and for that you are presented with a buffet table with a basketful of bread, some miniature pains au chocolat, orange juice, cereal and awful coffee from an automatic self serve machine. - We made the mistake of eating from the à la carte restaurant on on our first night for ease with 2 tired children in tow. The food is definitely not à la carte and overpriced. We paid over a 110 euros for our meal and the food was very plain and disappointing. Eat elsewhere - all the restaurants on the seafront notably the Crêperie and the Bistrot (specialising in seafood) are excellent. - The waitress at breakfst was most unhappy about us requesting a table on the terrace for breakfast on a gorgeous summer's day. It involved moving our place settings which she shrugged her shoulders at and slouched off muttering to herself!
Review 28：The design of the family room was the best I've ever stayed in. Normally a family room is a cramped room with a double bed and double sofa bed and equals NO sleep! However this room had a double bedroom with en suite shower and double sink and to the other side of the en suite was a room with 2 singles. Brilliant! And it meant we all got a good night's sleep. Also I asked for a room with a view and that's exactly what we got. I know the town well having worked there many years ago so it was lovely to be able to have a view of the quayside. Also the late check-out was appreciated. Check-out is at 12. We'd spent a week in the Vendée before coming to the hotel so it made a great stop-off on our way back up to Roscoff to catch the ferry in the afternoon.

Review 30：Brilliant location and immaculately clean. The hotel restaurant is excellent with shellfish a speciality. Superb view over the Marina and close to all amenities. Bed linen was very good quality and the bathroom of a very good standard and spacious

Review 33：Really bad service - was totally ignored by the 2 members of staff (older guy - manager maybe? and young chap) when we sat down for a drink. Had to go in and ask twice for a drink - and there were only 4 tables occupied! Same off-hand service in the evening (we didnt eat there despite the nice loooking menu, as a direct result of the unfriendly service. Seemingly a lady and her Mother are not deemed making the effort to be nice for - but they were very attentive to the large group of French people who had just come in off their yachts....
