Willowbeck Lodge is situated in one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations in England. It is is within easy traveling distance of the Lake District National Park and World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall.
At Willowbeck there are 4 rooms with private bathrooms, 2 of which are super-deluxe (larger with spacious bathroom including corner bathtub and separate shower) and they all overlook the lake. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished in contemporary style and has flat-screen TV, broadband connection, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Willowbeck Lodge doesn't only provide excellent residential accommodations. They are also happy to provide business clients with meeting and conference facilities in pleasant and discrete surroundings.

Review 1：You could hear everything! Dinner served for outsiders meant the evening was not quiet until 11 PM. Door into toilet below our room banged very loudly as various diners went in. A quiet early night would have been impossible.
Review 2：Close to Carlisle but felt as though you were miles out. Friendly welcome and cosy, relaxing surroundings. Breakfast great. Room lovely.
Review 3：Wonderful, especially after a drive in adverse conditions. Excellent and reasonably priced dinner. Only regret.... the terrible weather curtailed our enjoyment of the beautiful location.

Review 5：Location was not far from M6 motorway and as we were visiting Carlisle this was ideally situated. The room was large comfortable and very clean. Even the fittings were of a high quality. We were not eating in but the proprietor offered to drive us to the next village if required. Couldn't find any faults at all. Would definitely return when in area.

Review 11：My husband,daughter and myself had a one night stopover on our way back home from Oban Scotland.My husband and I had the Willow suite and my daughter had Ash.You cannot fault the rooms.They are beautiful,spotless and have everything you need.The bathroom in Willow is enormous and gorgeous.Scotby is a lovely village and Willowbeck wasnt difficult to find ,well worth it.We would definitely go again,everyone was very friendly.A lovely end to a wonderful holiday.

Review 13：Our wonderful hosts,Lizzie & John were very welcoming . Our room, overlooking the pond, was very comfortable - particularly the bed! Breakfast and the dinner we enjoyed were of high quality - beautiful, succulent steaks!

Review 16：Not really suitable for disabled and I am only slightly disabled. A good loo for disabled downstairs but a stair lift would have been helpful. Nothing mentioned about disabled facilities to help guests to find a stay suitable.

Review 18：The hosts remembered that we were staying over having travelled up for a family funeral, they couldn't do enough for us from the time we arrived till we left, excellent . Left feeling well fed and rested.

Review 21：Fourteen days in England, Scotland and Wales, This was our absolute favorite! Owners John and Liz made us feel like we were guests in their home. Location was ideal, decor was perfect, bed was large and comfortable,breakfast was great dinner recommendation was ideal. Sorry that we were only there for one night. We would definitely go back.

Review 32：This was the most spacious, well appointed lodge of our trip. The views of the pond and willows, and the visiting heron were just beautiful. There was ample room for us to both read and relax. Our hosts brought us wine and cocktail nibbles too! They found us alternate lodging, calling several places, when we arrived one day in advance and they were full They could not have done more for us, and truly became friends.

Review 77：what a wonderful gem hidding in between carlisle and brampton liz and jim were wonderful hosts nothing was too much trouble took myself and my partner to local pub so we could have a drink instead of taking care, beautiful room comfy bed breakfast was wonderful spoiled for choice this is one place we will def be coming back esp in the summer time :)

Review 79：We liked Liz & john the propritiers, they made us feel very welcome and at home, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had the best nite sleep in ages, our bedroom had everything we needed plus lovely little extras, we even had our own dressing room! We sat in the spacious lounge with the log burner blaring away and the beautiful decorated Christmas tree, with a glass of wine & felt totally relaxed. The follwing morning we came down to a variety of well presented breakfast delights, then to follow a full English breakfast that was to die for! Yum yum :))) All in all a perfect weekend.
