Reviews for Premier Inn Slough
Review 1:The only negative thing is the fact of don't have any electrical plug in on WC. Where is supposed to connect the shave machine?
Review 2:The hotel was perfect. The bed was very very very comfortable. The staff was kind. The breakfast is good. Everything was really good.
Review 3:A member of staff at the reception who was there on the night of Saturday the 2nd January.
Review 4:The staff and the rooms were very nice. One member of staff was unprofessional but the rest were lovely including the cleaning staff. Very happy with premier inn slogh
Review 5:Pleasantly surprised, clean and comfortable room, hosts best efforts to tailor to our needs, whilst food standards were maintained at an exceptional level.
Review 6:My partner cut his finger before we arrived it was bleeding really bad & there first aid had no plasters or anything in the box not good if someone was really bad . Also one of the other rooms slipped in shower as you didn't have a proper mat .
Review 7:The breakfast & the bed was comfy
Review 8:Hotel entrance difficult to find in the dark. No exterior signage illuminated which (on a dark and foggy evening) did not help.
Review 9:Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Friendly/very obliging staff.
Review 10:I was put in a room that was at the start of the corridor, so it had 3 doors in a very small area...a little noisy, but not at night.
Review 11:The woman behind reception was extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. I didn't catch her name, but she was really lovey!
Review 12:Creaky floors in the room, hallway and the room above which led to disturbed sleep.
Review 13:the breakfast selection was excellent as was the comfort of the bed. We were particularly grateful to the staff for giving us whole milk for our son at night time and at 6am in the morning.
Review 14:The staff were friendly and helpful from the reception to the cleaner to the waiters. The evening meal 'steak' was delicious as well as affordable. Breakfast was excellent. Happy hour was most welcome after traipsing round London all day. Beds comfortable. Slept soundly.
Review 15:Had a hard job locating the entrance, a map would be very useful for the new user.
Review 16:The staff were very helpful & pleasant. The room was to our liking.
Review 17:The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The restaurant meal on an evening were very good value for money. The room was great for all my family.
Review 18:We had a family room which was just an extra camped which made room very cramped...disappointed it wasn't a bigger room as beds were all touching and couldn't get out of bed properly.
Review 19:Hotel staff were lovely, very helpful. It was spotless.
Review 20:That there wasn't a laundry facility for guests. It took me a long time to find a laundrama in the area.
Review 21:There was a supermarket next door and it was a short walk to the train and bus station, other shops and fast food restaurants. The fast train from London only took 15 minutes to Slough. There was a bus stop nearby that went direct to Legoland. It was an easy drive to Heathrow airport. Meals in the restaurant were good and customer service was truly excellent.
Review 22:The fact that as from 31st of october they will be charging for you to park your car. We wonderd if all premier inns are doing this .
Review 23:Saff very polite and freindly. Every where clean. Food excellent.
Review 24:Vending machine broke so there were no snacks available. Maybe the bar should have s stock of bar snack food: crisps, nuts, etc
Review 25:Friendly attentive staff always willing to help.
Review 26:I found the double bed uncomfortable, and my son could not sleep in one of the beds, I tried on our last night but this was very very hard found the floor more comfortable
Review 27:Loved the design of rooms, staff were lovely and helpful, very clean
Review 28:Lovely staff, room very clean, bed very comfortable. great that they have rooms in a quite part of the hotel. Breakfast was great good choice and service good.
Review 29:The nose from the people in the room above us..5am both mornings. They would stomp about and sounded like dropping things on the floor all the time
Review 30:Location is easy to get to. Room was lovely and clean. Staff very helpful especially the short asian fella in the resturant(sorry i didnt get his name). He couldnt do enough for us at meal times and he was there at 8.30am and we seen him again at 8pm! What a grafter. Bed was comfy and car parking was good too
Review 31:Staff very friendly & helpful, food was great, location was perfect especially for our visit to Legoland, also next door to a large supermarket just incase we forgot anything as we have a baby & a 4 year old, rooms very comfortable & spacious, perfect!
Review 32:Room was very warm during the night, had to use air con which was a little difficult to fall to sleep while on.
Review 33:Room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Price was very good. Location was spot on.
Review 34:The staff were too much, asking every few minutes if everything was ok, did we need anything else, but then when we needed staff because we didn't have cutlery there wasn't any to be seen!
Review 35:The food was good
Review 36:The area was awful. Walked into the High Street and wished we'd stayed in the hotel. Felt unsafe.
Review 37:Hotel was lovely, so were staff and facilities.
Review 38:Uncomfortable room, noisy all day due to the traffic and people banging the corridor door right outside our door. extremely hot rooms, couldn't sleep at night I was sweating so much, food really expensive , we won't come back again. The kids struggle to fall sleep as they complained it was too hot, air con was noisy too.
Review 39:Not much
Review 40:Nothing
Review 41:A comfortable stay, nice atmosphere and a good breakfast. Great stop for Legoland. Would stay again and would recommend. CCTV in car park also a bonus for peace of mind.
Review 42:There appeared to be a fly problem in the bar and dining room areas. Especially around the bar area. Needs addressing.
Review 43:Staff friendliness, comfort of bed and definitely the quiet policy.
Review 44:Smell in bedroom when we walked in the child's bed was uncomfortable there were children running up and down the corridor banging on the doors
Review 45:The bed was comfortable
Review 46:Three night stay, first night we ordered desserts only at the restaurant, they were only sundaes therefore no cooking involved and they took over an hour to come, i think they missed our order and if we had not asked we would probably still be waiting - no apology given. Night two we had a meal which again took a long time to come and we actually received our starters before we had received our drinks despite the delay in our food. The breakfast was OK but having stayed in premier Inns where cooked breakfast is made to order I think the buffet style cooked breakfast served here is a disappointment but adequate. We has to book two rooms as there were two adults and three children in our party - this worked out very expensive and i feel there should be more facilities for large families.
Review 47:The room's were quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Happy hour on drinks at bar very good.
Review 48:Found it strange that we had to pay for breakfast on the second morning before we actually ate it. We hadn't actually checked out of our room yet.
Review 49:The staff do everything they can to help. Selection and quality of food at breakfast was great.
Review 50:Staff friendly and helpful. On Sunday morning the man in charge of dining are was very helpful with getting us 2 clean high hairs for twins. Didn't get his name but thank you to him.
Review 51:The staff are the most friendliest, accommodating, helpful team of professionals I have had the pleasure to come across.....nothing was to much trouble! They were amazing with our 3 year old son.
Review 52:The lights tripped in my room but this issue was resolved swiftly.
Review 53:Couldn't rate this properly as my phone is having problems but. Once again I have had an excellent experience with your company. Very comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
Review 54:Was really hot in room in middle of night, we both woke up really hot and by the time the air con sorted we were quite awake and we both took an hour to get back to sleep. I also woke twice more which is very rare for me. Restaurant/bar for dinner not good. Ordered the choose your own topping pizza with all the veg and seafood on. As a non-meat eater for 20yrs I was quite annoyed when after 45mins or more it turned up with pepperoni all over it. Husband had made clear when ordering at bar there was to be no meat as he felt he wasn't being really listened to. We were then told the kitchen mistook peppers for pepperoni and they bought the same pizza back 3-4mins later having just picked off the pepperoni (and leaving a piece that was hidden under cheese). Eventually had a fresh one made to take to our room as hubby and kids had finished their food and were tired but it was an effort and I was asked if allergic to pepperoni which was totally irrelevant! No complimentary drink or reduction in bill offered for hassle and no real interest from the manager.
Review 55:Rooms were quite nice and modern. Breakfast was really good, lots to choose from.
Review 56:Not a bad experience at all just a different taste but the bed was a little to soft for us
Review 57:The very friendly staff. The location for our visit. Nice food
Review 58:Next time, the reception staff should not attempt to put members of the same family into separate rooms that are located far away from each other on different floors!
Review 59:Hotel is sparkling clean!
Review 60:Poor cooked breakfast, buffet items looked unapealling, horrible bread, solid butter, hard fried eggs etc etc///
Review 61:Good Bed, pillows ok, room was clean.
Review 62:When waiting to buy a drink in happy hour the staff keep over looking Me and took food orders, then when I did get served the staff said your to late happy hour has finished. If they had severed me first as I was there first I would have got my drinks on happy hour.
Review 63:Easy reach for London and Legoland
Review 64:The location of the room no 2 is a disaster as their is no lift and it is a series of stairs especially when you have a lot of luggage for 4 nights
Review 65:The staff were brilliant and super friendly to our 5 year.thank you the air con was also very welcome after 38 degrees in legoland
Review 66:Only concern was parking. We spent most days touring in and around London and coming back to the hotel late at night to find there were no parking spaces as some people parked over two spaces and the hotel was very busy. Sadly the solution we were offered was to park in the Supermarket carpark next door which we were not willing to do as this was not secure. We were very tired and not happy with this solution so we were told to park in the loading bay. However this was a small complaint in a mostly excellent experience in the Premier Inn, Slough. Could I suggest numbering a parking space for each room so that customers know that they will get parked no matter what time they return to the hotel.
Review 67:The hotel was situated 5 mins drive away from the train into London. There is a large supermarket next door. The staff were lovely, friendly and mostly very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The breakfast selection was superb and delicious.
Review 68:My only (slight) grumble was that my pillows were on the soft side. Not enough to verbally complain about though and my other half was quite happy with his.
Review 69:I liked everything about this hotel from the size of the room to the free parking in the large car park. The staff were excellent and breakfast was lovely.
Review 70:The staff were lovely friendly and helpful they couldnt do enough. Very clean and comfortable my hubby was very impressed with the bed. Usually only sleeps well in his own. The food was really good too we ate in the evening and breakfast and enjoyed both.
Review 71:I ant fault a thing. The only thing I can think of is the bathroom had a light bulb that had nearly lost its life, other than that it was perfect for us.
Review 72:Hotel was fantastic, staff very polite and welcoming. Couldn't fault a thing!
Review 73:Could have done with a few more options with pastries and pancakes.
Review 74:Staff were very helpful, especially the trainee Roseina who went out of her way to check my flight. It meant a lot
Review 75:When we checked in we paid for our evening meals which included breakfast in the morning ,we couldn't get a table until 9 ,we were told that there was a wait of half an hour for food ,at 9_45 I had to ask about our meals ,if we had known ,we could have booked a table when we'd arrived.
Review 76:We liked it because we weren't very far from legoland for the next day
Review 77:The bar is way too small although happy hour was very welcome ! Dinner on the Monday night was disastrous. Never seen so many people complaining - one quite elderly couple ordered their main meals and only one was served and the waitress tried to argue they only ordered one - a guy at the next table had to confirm two meals were ordered - incredible !! Our granddaughter found two hairs in her starter. Service was so slow that two couples got up and left. And the worst from my viewpoint, the duty manager (or manageress) stayed locked in the office and left the overworked and harassed staff handle all the complaints - and there were many. Totally unacceptable and very unlike Premier Inns and we've stayed at many across the UK.
Review 78:Staff were generally friendly, Our family room was comfortable and spacious
Review 79:the staff are absolutely brilliant. Always a smile and ready to help in any way. good sense of humour. We are looking forward to our next stay in August.
Review 80:You could of charged me for another night as compensation to you,not 6/7 nights
Review 81:I booked I think for 6/7 nights but had to leave Tuesday as I had a family crisis but you still charged me for all that I booked
Review 82:My only problem was that Booking.com mysteriously claimed I hadn't stayed and charged me £99 for not turning up which I hope has now been refunded. An apology would have been nice.
Review 83:Clean and convenient
Review 84:Usual good level of comfort and cleanliness as expected at a Premier Inn. We had noisy neighbours one night but had our money refunded under the good night guarantee, result!
Review 85:some of the staff i found quite rude, i explained the situation and if there was anything they could do, i was just told no quite sternly.i felt quite put out.
Review 86:i liked the location it was just down the road from where i needed to go
Review 87:I feel conned by your wifi available free throughout the hotel notices - not my experience at all. no wifi connection succeeded during my stay, either free or premium, wasted a lot of time and couldn't keep on top of my work. Also placed next to a family for dinner who had screaming kids and escaped as fast as I could, otherwise would've asked for the meal to be redone as it was lukewarm. If you're going after business and leisure market you need to retying the dining experience. I won't be staying in this venue again. And if I have the same connection challenges at another of your hotels I won't be staying with you again.
Review 88:Bedroom and bathroom, check in and check out interaction warm, professional, saw me
Review 89:Hard sell on breakfast / restaurant. The welcome to the hotel fromthe staff was scripted / recorded so that they would hard sell therestaurant and its services. All exits to the hotel were alarmed exceptthe one that passed by the restaurant.. We got a room in the back... Wehad to pass through 5 doors before we got out of there ( past therestaurant ). no room amenities. One hand towel, wall mountedbody/hair goo, wall mounted soap. No hair dryer. No pen to writewith. Minimal amenities.
Review 90:Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Main bed slept well... Couch bed..Not so comfortable.
Review 91:Didn't feel comfortable/safe in the surrounding area when we arrived. Not a good vibe.
Review 92:Staff were quite hospitable, food was quite good for dinner and also breakfast.
Review 93:Car park very tight, got a dent on my rental car not captured on CCTV, the bill for which I am dreading,
Review 94:Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and although our room looked out on a busy road, noise level was minimal, and family slept soundly each night
Review 95:The price of the room was inflated due to Ascot being on - seems a bit unfair to put the prices up by so much
Review 96:Helpful staff, dealt with booking issues swiftly and to my satisfaction
Review 97:The excellent customer service we received. The rooms were spotless. We had, as a family of 13, three family rooms which were brilliant. Excellent meal deal availability. We have stayed in several Premier Inns but so far this has been the best. Thank you.
Review 98:We booked through Booking.com and Reception could not find the booking on the reception computer. Fortunately I had brought my login pin number but it was an anxious few minutes as we were running late for a rendezvous.
Review 99:Easily reached from motorway after a long journey. Staff welcoming on arrival. Lift to 3rd floor was an important feature for our senior party member.
Review 100:Did not feel too safe walking out of the hotel at night to find restaurants. Closet half decent restaurants were 10-15 minutes walk.
Review 101:The staff really try to make you feel at home and welcome
Review 102:Car parking was not an issue during the daytimes but both nights I returned at about 9pm to find there was no space for my car so I had to park on a side next to a kerb which was not a proper parking space.
Review 103:The reception and housekeeping staff were very pleasant and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable with good lighting, TV, wifi and the shower was powerful. Plenty of towels, pillows, tea/coffee in room provided so didn't need to contact reception for anything except to borrow and iron. I often find the temperature in hotel rooms to be a nuisance as they can be too hot and stuffy or draughty and cold but this was not an issue and it was great not to have to get anything put right in the room.
Review 104:Difficult to find fault with anything
Review 105:We arrived very early on Sunday morning after an overnight cycle ride for charity. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and even found us a room which we could go into early. The beds were fabulously comfortable ,and the room excellent. All the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with the level of customer service through out reception and the restaurant. Thank you !
Review 106:My first key would not work so I had to go back down to reception, carrying all my gear, to get a new one. Even though I turned the air conditioning off, something to do with this, which was noisy, kept restarting and was very disturbing when I was trying to get to sleep. No clock / alarm in the room
Review 107:Really happy with everything apart from things in the next box. Very convenient location for my business at NFER
Review 108:Unfortunately no table available until late for evening meal so had to eat in my room! Suggest booking table in advance. Room very hot even with air con on you have to ask at reception for a colder temperature.
Review 109:Clean room with large comfortable bed
Review 110:The staff were very busy but still really friendly, and bent over backwards for you. Reception staff even asked where I was going and gave me printed directions. Room was lovely, food delicious. Have already booked again for next visit.
Review 111:Having to leave.
Review 112:We had a great stay. I can't fault any of it. Great beds, great shower, great FREE wifi, staff were ALL happy helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best something for everyone!
Review 113:Although well located . It was on a main busy road not in the most attractive area. Car park is not big enough for numbers of hotel guests in full occupancy.
Review 114:Good location / clean modern room/ children had own beds not a pull out or sofa bed. Good soundproofing as looks out onto a busy road.
Review 115:The dining room air conditioning was too cold, made my meal go cold. We did ask the staff to alter it but could not. Need a map for easy access due to duel carriage way.
Review 116:Good car park, good staff, pleasant room,
Review 117:The room doors should have better sound-proofing. Avoid rooms near the fire doors in the corridors as the constant banging can get annoying. The breakfast buffet didn't have enough serving utensils so people were forced to use their fingers at times. Not very sanitary!
Review 118:Always a comfortable stay at Premier Inn. Great room and friendly staff.
Review 119:Room to cloose to floor main door The smell in the breakfast area. Not nice to go to your first meeting in the morning smelling of sausage and bacon. The place needs to be AIRED.
Review 120:Cleaningness and size of the room Bed Decent breakfast
Review 121:I try to call before the check-in and after check-out the reception, but no one answered.
Review 122:All thing Excellent The location good you have Sunsbury near you and big Mosqe Just before you leave from the parking lot take the code for the exit gate.
Review 123:One of group found bed a bit firm - it was probably more suited to heavyweights (like Lennny maybe)
Review 124:Superb breakfast. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Review 125:I had an evening meal. Assumed price would be added to my bill and I would pay it the next morning. Instead Staff kept knocking at my door and, when I didn't answer (I was in the bath) left a note. The staff were friendly but I think this was poor management.
Review 126:It was okay.
Review 127:Nothing.
Review 128:The room was immaculate, all staff very helpful and happy and the breakfast was amazing for the price we defiantly stay in Premier Inn's again.
Review 129:Was not happy when first checked in. I wanted to pay by cash to be toldthat I needed passport or driving licence to verify who I was!!! This isthe queens legal tender!!! There was me, my husband and 9 year olddaughter. Was told it stated in terms and condistion...who reads thesein full!!!!!
Review 130:Only 20 mins to legoland and tesco store close by
Review 131:No negatives whatsoever. The only thing that could have been better :- We had two family rooms which would have been better if they could have been closer No big deal really though Rooms are newly furnished and ensuite is lovely Such good value
Review 132:Children well catered for Staff incredibly helpful attentive friendly Food excellent quality and value
Review 133:After a long busy day at the park u can park ur car in the hotel car park and visit Slough town centre... Cinema, restaurants and shopping centre all in walking distances. Breakfast was fab, staff are polite.
Review 134:Noisy road, does not allow to open the windows. Had to pay the whole stay upon arrival.
Review 135:Friendly staff, restaurant with sufficient choice, good full English breakfast, close to Slough station with frequent connections to London Paddington.
Review 136:Checked in at 2pm and were out by 6pm. Wish we could pay discounted rate if not pro rata. But had to pay one night price.
Review 137:Helpful staff. Only wanted accommodation for an afternoon. 4 hours.
