Reviews for Hotel De La TA

Review 1:Room was very small but for the price you cannot expect more. Breakfast too "french" for our liking. It was a bit dusty in the bathroom so would have wished it would have been totally clean.

Review 2:Good location and close to the town center!

Review 3:No facilities for tea/coffee after breakfast. No British channels on the TV should you put it on once your day is done.

Review 4:Small hotel but everything you need is catered for. The location is fantastic, the decor very modern.tge cleanliness is fantastic.

Review 5:Room next to the main exit was not quiet. I had strongly requested a quiet room. Bed was not not flat but was a 'V shaped' surface - bad for back.

Review 6:Location reasonably central.

Review 7:Could hear the neighbours in the shower next door.

Review 8:Good sized, clean room. Nice bathroom with good shower. Pretty good breakfast. Near the old town and the market.

Review 9:Compact double room was ok for 1; 2 would be cosy. Owner advised to lock bike inside the shed.

Review 10:Good location, close to centre. Bicycle stored in communal bike garage, adjacent to property, access gained with code.

Review 11:wifi wouldn't work. you could hear people above and around you in the other rooms so was difficult to sleep. but aside from that we happy as it was a good budget stay in a room to ourselves.

Review 12:it was clean, fair price, a short 5 min walk to the metro, nice bathroom and shower available

Review 13:Very dirty, the bad is very uncomfortable. The bathroom wall was not till the ceiling, so you can hear everything. The wifi works only if you stay in the corridor near the kitchen.

Review 14:The location is quite close to the center

Review 15:There is no water kettle with free coffee and tea in the rooms. And no vending machine, so no access to cool drinks either.

Review 16:The atmosphere, the town. Friendly hotel staff.

Review 17:This was a pleasant small hotel situated on the 1st floor of an interesting old building. We enjoyed our stay in this more intimate environment that the bigger hotels. The room, although not large, was clean and comfortable

Review 18:No reception.

Review 19:Family room is fine.

Review 20:No.

Review 21:Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet environment.

Review 22:Small rooms.

Review 23:Great location. Breakfast looked nice. Very clean and modern

Review 24:Everything - didn't mind traffic noises - that is expected in busy city

Review 25:The bathroom is not really a private area anymore as door couldn't shut properly

Review 26:Location was nice, and parking spots close to the hotel.

Review 27:Small hotel in centre of Rennes. Compact room but comfortable

Review 28:This is a good hotel for a short stay and is well situated, comfortable and friendly. Perfect for this year's Tour de France

Review 29:Small bathroom Very unpleasant staff Didn't feel welcome at all

Review 30:The room

Review 31:nice clean comfortable room!

Review 32:Very (!!!) uncomfortable mattress, cheap and old furnishing (looks a lot nicer on the pictures than in reality), badly sound-proofed rooms, the bathroom had no rooftop and thus was directly connected to the rest of the room.

Review 33:Nice and helpful staff

Review 34:Don't know how this hotel has a 7.1 rating. This was the first timeI've been disappointed with a booking.com hotel. Walls are paper-thin. Could here the guy next door turn over in bed, snore and go for apee. He was loud until 11:30 pm when he went out and then came back inat 5:00 am. One of his friends came back at 5:30 and was banging on thehotel door. The noise was the worst but also the bathroom was so small that you have to sit sideways on the toilet and can't dry off in the shower. Dirt on the carpet near the walls. Lights are very dim to save money I suppose.

Review 35:Staff was apologetic but didn't give me the empty room I wantedcause there was no one there to clean the room and change the sheets.Walk to downtown. Cheap.

Review 36:The wifi didn't work at all, except in the corridor. The reception opening hours were really not convenient. The shower didn't drain well. The pillows weren't confortable at all.

Review 37:The price was good.

Review 38:The wall is very thin. We heard the sounds of other clients all the night

Review 39:staff is very nice. Location is good, just few-minutes to walk to the main tourist attraction.

Review 40:I was put in a room right next to the shared bathroom and shower and basically had no rest. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 to find that reception was not open until 15:30 - and was never informed of this. So had to lug my heavy bags around with me throughout the city.

Review 41:Location, rate

Review 42:The owners did try and pressure us to leave earlier than the agreed checkout time on the morning of our departure, which made us feel a little uncomfortable. The wifi did not work as it should, which the owners were also unhelpful about, and you have to get up quite a steep flight of stairs to get to the hotel, because it's on the first floor of the building.

Review 43:The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The location wasn't bad either.

Review 44:I chose the hotel for the location and the relatively good price ,no big complains, I was upgraded to a room en suite for the sameprice as the one with shared bathroom that I had booked , which wasreally nice...

Review 45:This hotel really did exceed my expectations it was excellent value for money, extremely welcoming and the 6 Euro breakfast was a great bargain. The entrance is a bit off putting but the room itself was warm, spacious and comfortable. The toilet and shower were very clean and overall I could not recommend this hotel too highly. It is also very central. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Review 46:Good location-on the bus route from the airport and a short walk to the train station.

Review 47:nothing!

Review 48:very beautiful room unlike in budget hotels. nice staff. close to the station.

Review 49:inaccessible Wifi

Review 50:localization

Review 51:Close to town, comfortable

Review 52:No hotel parking and the public parking is expensive.

Review 53:Good value for money with an excellent breakfast. Walking distance to Rennes centre.

Review 54:The hotel is close to the city center. The decoration of the rooms is old-fashioned and quite nice.

Review 55:Bathroom really small. You can not really move in it

Review 56:Kind staff. Wi fi. Position not bad.

Review 57:Thank manager that wait me long time before i m arrived ( it was later than 21.00)

Review 58:Breakfast is not worth paying 6 euros.

Review 59:Good value for money. Quiet enough.
