Reviews for Le Lodge Kerisper

Review 1:We loved everything about this place. The staff was very very helpful, spoke great English. The whole facilite was serence, relaxing and very welcoming. Great breakfast room. Heated pool in end of October was a bonus

Review 2:The size of the swimming pool is actually a lot smaller than the photos suggest it is. Me being tall I could easily manage 100 laps in a few minutes.

Review 3:Everything about the hotel from the courtesy of the staff, the hotel in general. The food, accomodation, etc, etc

Review 4:Not bad but .... The shower over the bath was a struggle. For mobility impaired people or retirees with less mobility than we have it would have been impossible. There was room for a shower in the bathroom.

Review 5:Nice relaxed feel, breakfast room and having no restaurant the hotel was free of the normal pressures and smells of a kitchen. Proximity to restaurants and the harbour was great.

Review 6:Would be even better if food was available in the evening.

Review 7:Lovely, friendly, comfortable hotel. Very stylish décor and fitted to high standard. Convenient for Carnac and Vannes

Review 8:An excellent hotel and very accommodating, however a shame to find that breakfast wasn't included in price. Especially for a 4star hotel. Other than this would recommend

Review 9:The pool, beautiful surroundings and great location. The addition of our own terrace was very nice.

Review 10:Room 5 was lovely but had no shower only a bath which was a bit of a pain when our daughter used the pool. Wifi not great in the room but may just be a weak area for signal.

Review 11:Lovely stylish spot with very friendly owner and staff. A few mins walk to the marina. Reception recommended a great restaurant which we really enjoyed. Stylish reception where we read some great books and enjoyed free coffee in the evening

Review 12:We do like fresh air in a room when sleeping. The only option was to leave the door to garden ajar with a shoe! Would be nice to have tea, coffee facility in room. Not too sure about babies or small children though.

Review 13:The Staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Loved the decor, relaxing to the eye and artistically presented. Original artworks on the walls, fantastic and a joy to see. The garden was so relaxing to sit in after a long days walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will return.

Review 15:Sometimes the wifi dropped out. That was the worst thing but actually did not matter.

Review 16:The property is stylish and very clean. The staff are welcoming and charming. It is a short walk to town, great location. Really relaxing environment.

Review 17:Breakfast was expensive at €14 per person so we skipped it. The bar was closed in the early evening and they had a notice to say that if you consumed your own alcohol in your room you would be charged €50!

Review 18:Lovely area. Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet comfortable bedroom. View over the garden was very nice. Good value overall. They had a lovely reception area and complimentary tea and coffee was offered in the evenings after the bar closed which was a nice touch.

Review 19:Nothing!

Review 20:Excellent welcome when we arrived. Very concise suggestions for sightseeing in the area along with map and useful information on restaurants etc. Lovely warm room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and each member of staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 4! Short walk into town, plenty to see and do in the area.

Review 21:Excellent staff who without being prompted made helpful suggestions to benefit our stay in the area such as good places to eat. Very comfortable room - well appointed Good breakfast

Review 22:Not being able to get in as - quelle surprise - Kerisper was fully booked. The equally charming owners need to build a second establishment in a hurry. I suggested a quality boat for hire as a part of a sailing package as an additional offering as La Trinite's Harbour promises exquisite sailing just metres away.

Review 23:The overall sweetness of the place. Genuine warmth, chic style, charm, comfort and authenticity in a beautifully simple garden setting. Breakfast was also perfect right down to the diligent and petite Madame looking over us all. The owners are to be congratulated in creating a French mood that leaves some of the greater French hotels for dead. If you want to discover La Trinite, the fabulous local seafood and exquisite oysters and Brittany in general then what better home base than this?

Review 24:WiFi log on with iPad took several attempts.

Review 25:Location (quiet), superb breakfast (great choice), staff (very friendly & helpful), decor (beautifully, tastefully fitted out), WiFi (free and available everywhere but..).

Review 26:Charming and very helpful staff particularly Dick on reception and Yann on the bar. A lovely charming and comfortable boutique hotel.

Review 27:Very good small Hotel to explore the South Part of Britany. Very friendly Host. Very personal atmosphere.

Review 28:Quiet, full of character, lovely heated pool, helpful staff, excellent breakfast in pretty conservatory.

Review 29:What a great hotel. Lovely rooms and beautiful gardens. Very good breakfast and excellent service.

Review 30:Having to leave.

Review 31:Complete package perfect for total relaxation.

Review 32:Breakfast was amazing--very good selection. Rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Lovely location.

Review 33:Televisions in rooms but unfortunately no English speaking channels. Bed was a bit hard

Review 34:The hotel is situated in a great area for touring around with many places of interest nearby. Le Lodge is just 5 minutes walk from Le Port of this charming small seaside town.Although in a (smart) residential area it is very quiet and the parking is good. The hotel exudes 'seaside cottage charm' and is very attractively decorated. The rooms are very comfortable, the ones I saw were all individually designed and have all the facilities one would need. The first floor rooms mostly have a nice patio area with seating. The gardens are charming and are equipped with comfortable seating and small tables. There is no restaurant (although very adequate breakfast is served) but with many bars and restaurants nearby it doesn't matter. There is a very comfortable and attractive bar with a terrace. The most memorable aspect of the hotel to us were the VERY helpful and friendly staff (particularly Yann) who will do what it takes to make your stay special. Thank you all

Review 35:There is nothing I did not like at Le Lodge Kerisper. Il n'y a rien que je n'ai pas aimé au Lodge Kerisper.

Review 36:The breakfast was delicious with many regional and fresh products. The fire remains lighted until late which is enjoyable when coming back after dinner. A tea service is also available at this time for customers. The whole hotel is tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is really pleasant.

Review 37:This is really an upmarket bed & breakfast. Not a Hotel in the accepted sense. One feels that one should clear out during the day. There is absolutely nothing provided at the "hotel", and even getting a drink after 21.00 is touch & go as to whether the bar is open. The pool is a plunge pool only and best used by very young children - which it was! Rooms - form over function!

Review 38:Helpful and friendly staff.

Review 39:Our room was above the outdoor area of the guests below who were smoking and the smoke came into our room at night.

Review 40:It was very clean and a very pretty setting.

Review 41:I would not have booked this hotel if I had known that our room was small and had NO shower !. I loathe baths so this was a huge let down. I do not consider this establishment as 4 star indeed, I have stayed in 2 star accommodation that could equal it. The pool is tiny and is really a glorified plunge pool although beautifully situated. I did not find this hotel to be relaxing and there was not a lot of privacy in our room as adjacent first floor balconies overlooked it. The bar closed promptly at 10pm which is far too early !. Unfortunately this hotel is more style over substance in my view and I consider it overly expensive. I will not book this hotel again our recommend it.

Review 42:Peaceful location and lovely grounds. Room was immaculately clean with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive in choice and plentiful.

Review 43:Great staff, lovely design, peaceful. Nice breakfasts in sunny breakfast room. 5 mins walk from the town centre which has a number of restaurants and bars. Good base for exploring this part of Britany.

Review 44:This lovely inn met all our expectations as a quiet place to use as a base for touring near by southern Brittany. The decor was warm and the staff very helpful Trinitie sur Mer was a perfect spot on the water and with lots of boating activity and simple restaurants, mostly on the water, and a quick ride from Carnac and thousands of stone Menirs to investigate.

Review 45:The hotel is beautiful - a calm beach-cottage theme oasis in what can bea very busy town in the summer - stylish, yet low-key. The staff was sokind and helpful with directions, recommendations. The breakfast (notincluded) was delicious and worth it! Only wish was that they servedsome food besides breakfast.

Review 46:Because we are Brits, we would love tea and coffee in the room. Also afew more hangers and space for clothes, but we only had classicdoubles, I am sure the bigger rooms had more space! You get what youpay for......

Review 47:The hotel was fab, loved it. Had a great feeling and was really friendlyand homely as well as being modern and uptodate, no detail was missed.Dick was the icing on the cake, he was the best. He could help withevery little question and was the most amazing host.

Review 48:In our view this establishment would be better described as a Bed and Breakfast rather than a 4 star hotel. Reception hours are limited. There is no food available apart from a limited continental buffet breakfast. The bar closed at 20.00 hours on 3 of the 4 evenings we were there and entry to the hotel was via a key code only. No refreshments could be ordered/obtained in the hotel if the bar was not open and only a small bottle of water provided in the room. On 2 nights thermos flasks of coffee were left on the bar with a 'help yourself' note! Guests wishing to drink wine etc when the bar was closed were advised there would be a 50 euro corkage charge per bottle.

Review 49:The hotel occupies a good location in the small town on Trinite sur Mer. There is good parking and it is well sign posted. The room was clean although small with a sloping roof restricting access to one side of the bed but the bed was comfortable. The bar looks inviting but is not always open. The grounds are lovely.

Review 50:From the moment you arrive you are made to feel so comfortable, nothingis to much trouble. This was the only place we stayed in where the poolactually had water in it. The gardens are relaxing and it was wonderfulto sit outside, relax with a cocktail and unwind. We had an attic roomand it was really comfortable. Local restaurant was recommended and itwas the place to go. Highly recommend this hotel and we would definitelycome back to this part of Brittany..Dick, also told us to head to PortAvent a must see spot...thank you for that as it was a highlight.

Review 51:The helpfulness of the staff, who were knowledgeable about the area andoffered many different ideas for itineraries. On the last day, theysuggested a walk on an island that wasn't in any guidebook, sending uson our way back to Paris calm and content. The hotel is low key andrelaxing. The continental breakfast is varied and delicious.

Review 52:Cost of breakjfast a little too high although good.

Review 53:Very pleasant staff. The quietness. The garden.

Review 54:Very friendly staff, location of hotel, and design of hotel

Review 55:Nothing

Review 56:It's home away from home.Everything was perfect.

Review 57:nothing negative

Review 58:correct comfort correct service good breakfest

Review 59:Lovely setting, beautifully presented and very welcoming

Review 60:We loved how an original Breton farm had been cleverly transformed into a perfect luxury retreat in an ideal location.
