Reviews for Le Bistrot D'orange
Review 1:Good location (15min walk from city centre). Managers very friendly and helpful, lady had the most infectious smile. When she heard we were going to concert at Theatre de antique she insisted we take some of her cushions to sit on. We stayed at the Mercure the night before and even tho this hotel was older and a bit worn the friendliness of the managers made it much more enjoyable
Review 2:We had to change room, as the first one was unusable because a smell of wet mold. We were not treated well when we complained. The AC did only work, with an open window,as the tube had to go out that way.
Review 3:Very basic room. The hotel was very closed on arrival and indeed departure. Strange mobile air conditioning which was effective but noisy.
Review 4:Charming couple, who took us to the Roman theatre for the opera and even provided an essential cushion. Nice buffet meal. Excellent value.
Review 5:The room was cramped and noisy. The air-con unit was a portable device with a pipe stuck out of the open window. To cut out the road noise you needed to close the window, so no air-con. The room then got hot very quickly. There are things that could be done to improve the facilities. I suspect that time and investment will change this hotel into a little gem.
Review 6:The proprietors. They are very enthusiastic. And very friendly. The food.
Review 7:the service was very good. the rooms clean and brekfest was very good
Review 8:The kindness of the two owners is simply amazing
Review 9:The steep stairs.
Review 10:The welcome and the informality.
Review 11:Nice and friendly owners.
Review 12:noise from the road
Review 13:Convenient access to and from the centre of town, parking, cleanliness, friendly staff
Review 14:Strange. We were met by the host, and we were the only people in his guestbook. Yet he spread a breakfast as if he had other guests. Nobody else every appeared. It seemed a charade or a front for something else. We slept well in a room that was satisfactory. But the over-all experience was just a notch above the Bates Motel.
Review 15:The price was good. Orange is not, though, an interesting destination, in spite of its history.
Review 16:We needed a place to stay for the evening. It fit our needs perfectly. the couple who own/run the place were so nice despite our arriving very late.
Review 17:Easy to find and good parking. Quiet room and comfortable beds
Review 18:Somewhat shabby but clean.
Review 19:Private parking and good wifi. Good location for touring. Very quiet.
