Review 1：Not the most comfortable bed but certainly not the worst. The wifi was hit and miss which when trying to do business work was a little annoying.
Review 2：Great location. Good size room. Food in the restaurant is excellent but be warned the portions, in particular the starters, are huge!
Review 3：Me and my partner stayed here at the weekend for a night away. When we got there the restaurant was already booked up however staff went out there way to locate us a table. The Food was excellent, and not badly priced and drinks were realsonably priced too unlike a lot of hotels. Rooms were very modern and decorated nicely. All staff were friendly and the young lad who waited on us couldn't have been nicer, he made sure we were enjoying our evening and was very polite? Overall was a fabulous night away.
Review 4：The one drawback for me as a weekend traveller who was working was that I needed to be up too early to start work at 0800 and they didn't start serving breakfast till later. It was a shame as the breakfast sounded good.
Review 5：Nice room. Clean, plenty of space. Next to a decent restaurant bar- so comfortable and convenient. Food was good. Service was good- staff all smiled and were helpful and happy.
Review 6：Booked room for 2 adults with breakfast included in price of room but when got there had to pay a further £20 as they said the room was booked for only 1 adult which didn't make any sense as it was a family room for up to 3 people

Entrance at back of building; outside concrete stair dirty and spot for a smoking 'den' for staff and customers. Too expensive. Thought £45 for room not per person; shock when had to pay £90. Never stayed in a worse B&B.

Review 19：The staff were friendly, even though they were under pressure. The bedroom No. 3 was very comfortable. The price is good and I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was included and was excellent.
Review 20：Parking, not much space but I was in a big van, but it wasn't the end of the world.

Review 22：Beds slightly uncomfortable, especially as we only had 3 pillows between the 2 of us (and one small towel between the 2 of us). We expected to have a room in the main lodge (separate building from the bar) but we were given a room over the bar. Noise level wasn't too bad but our room was over an entrance where people came out to smoke a lot, so we couldn't open our windows (on some warm days and evenings) without getting smoke in the room. I'm pregnant so really didn't want to breath in smoke all the time so we were too warm! My husband wasn't happy with his cooked breakfast either (I didn't have one), it just wasn't very nice (he felt it hadn't been cooked to order but rather kept warm for a while) and we got breakfast elsewhere the next morning. In all it was an affordable room, and I guess you get what you pay for, but it really wasn't 4 star.
Review 23：Very friendly and polite staff. The bar/restaurant is busy and popular and we had some good dinners there. The room was clean.

Review 34：Can't fault the Lodge. I had a very late book in which wasn't a problem. I was in Doncaster for a family funeral and they rearranged bedrooms so that I could have a late check out and go straight to the funeral. I also had a very good, reasonable priced lunch in the restaurant. I visit Doncaster often and now I have found The Lodge I will certainly stay there again.

Review 54：The wifi signal was quite weak. I stayed in a room above the bar/restaurant so could just about pick up a signal but it kept dropping out. I would've like to have had blackout curtains in the room to block out the street lights but wasn't a massive big deal.
Review 55：I stayed for a few nights whilst on business. The room was gorgeous. Very clean and relaxing. Breakfast was included in the price and was really tasty with a good selection for choice. I looked forward to going back to my room to chill out after a long day of work. I'd definitely book to stay there again. Even though it's slightly on the outskirts of Doncaster, I found a bus route into the centre that picked up and dropped off right outside which was very convenient.
Review 56：No top sheet and only a winter quilt on the bed, also the central heating was on, a little warm for us but comfortable. Value for money stated as fair but St Leger week means everyone's prices go up! Location only fair as not on direct bus route to race course, maybe ok for others.
Review 57：Away from the road so nice & quiet in the room. The cooked breakfast was good but the presentation seemed over the top, i.e. all layed out in a particular fashion, seemingly piled on top of each other, but all still very nice and nothing got left. All staff very friendly.

Review 59：Liked the welcome, staff helpfulness, the room in the lodge, which was quiet. Bar is well stocked and seems to be efficiently run. There is a good menu to be experienced although this is going to change very shortly due to a kitchen refit. I would like to revisit at some point to see what the changes are. Breakfast was very good.
Review 60：I was overcharged for my rooms by almost 50% as the staff iPad was down and this issue remains ongoing. There is more of a focus on the bar/grill rather than the hotel guests so staff aren't as accommodating towards the hotel stayers.

Review 62：I recently stayed at the Lodge and was really impressed the room was lovely beautifully decorated very spacious and very clean. The food was lovely as was breakfast the next morning. The overall thing that stood out for me was the staff they were fantastic nothing was too much trouble for them, my partner was ill while we were there an unable to eat so they fetched my meal to my room for me and checked if i needed anything. Great place to stay :)

Review 64：Staff went out of their way to arrange a lift to the races for us and another couple when there were no taxis available. Loved the décor in the rooms, very comfortable and clean. Meals in the restaurant are very nice, book in advance!
