Set right on the the Bahía del Pozo Izquierdo Bay, CIW Hostel has a diving school and a large outdoor pool. It also offers a free Wi-Fi zone and bright dormitories with sea views.
Each functional dorm room at CIW Hostel has large windows overlooking the beach. Rooms have access to shared bathrooms. Sheets and towels are available to rent.
The CIW Hostel's restaurant serves regional and international cuisine, and offers a daily set menu. There are also on-site barbecue facilities.

Review 1：The showers were often cold. They seemed to be experiencing problems with the solar powered system. The beds were not very comfortable and you must pay extra to use the pool / sun loungers.

Review 2：This hostel has amazing panoramic sea views! Great location for those that want to windsurf. The staff were friendly.

Review 4：Good and quiet place to stay if you have a car. Liked almost everything. Room was spacious with a perfect view toward the ocean, personnel was helpful, parking place available, nice village for a pleasant evening walk.

Review 5：Only three minor things I could fault were a squeeky bedroom door, a kitchen oven that was out of action, and a small Eur4 fee for bed linen that I wasn't expecting. All small complaints really.

Review 8：Great place if you like to be in close contact with the sea. Quiet place - only the sound of waves during nighttime facilitate your sleep. Surprisingly spacious room. Very good common facilities. Everything is nice and clean.

Review 9：Very remote if you don't have a car. The pool is not warmed up so it is pretty cold. The toilet doors on 2 floor can't lock.

Review 16：I liked the kindness of staff, the silence and the good trade off between price and quality. It si not possible to find a better place for such price. The hotel is just on the beach and at night there is anly the sound of the wind. Dawn is spectacular. The beach is not good for bathing, just for windsurfing.

Review 17：Staff of the hostel are very nice. The location is very beautiful. Some nice restaurants/bars nearby. Nearest city about 5km away (taxi fee around 5 euros). Daily cleaning.

Review 18：The only thing I did not like is that you have to pay an extra 4e for linen and pillows, but its not the end of the world.

Review 19：This hostel is great for surfers, of any kind, and not only. Its rooms are located very close to the shore and offer a spectacular view 24/7. The staff are great, very helpful and very kind. The rooms are very clean and they have a great library in the communal living room. The Internet connection is average. You can reach the place from the airport by taking the no.90 bus to Centro Commercial Atlantico for 1.75e and from there a taxi for around 5e. From the commercial centre you can also walk the 4km distance between Vecindario and the hostel.

Review 50：Breakfast is poor when it cost 3 euros. Room has no heating so it was little cold to sleep. Also windows to Atlantic side need new rubber insulate because wind blows into room. To take a shower is freezing cold due to there are no heating of water.

Review 51：Good position in front of Atlantic Ocean and my stay days there was huge ocean waves so to watch from room big windows windsurfers surfing skills was excellent.

Review 56：- no bus connection to and from the hostel; you got to walk 40 min. to the nearest town to get a bus, or rent a car which are hard or expensive to get even in January! - no room service; no one ever changed the bed sheets, towels, took the rubbish out or mopped the floor. - noisy on the ground floor, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. - very windy and if you are not there to do windsurfing that is not a plus point. - no facilities to cook your own food. - ugly surroundings. - a little overpriced.

Review 59：The best hostel I've been to so far. The place is clean with a big bright rooms with huge windows facing the see that is only 20 meters away. Located in a nice little village. only 4-5 euro by taxi to Vecindario. Regular buses from Vecindario. Diving and surfing schools in the village. Nice restaurant.

Review 61：This place is not for everybody. It is only a few meters from the ocean surf, without artificial beach or deliberately planted flowering trees. One think to be on the edge of the Earth, although the nearest village is close. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean with large windows facing the ocean.

Review 64：Room looked out onto the ocean, to be falling asleep with the waves breaking and waking up seeing the boards going. Perfect! Located in a small fishing village an amazingly quiet place on a tourist invested island! Pozo is not for partying. Just one bar, but with a panoramic view on the surf spot. And one good grocery shop to buy some food (I recommend the cheeses and the avocados!) and drinks. but at 3k there is all you need in Vecindario. And Pozo is for windsurfing really. Plenty of rental and courses and a nearby spot for beginners. Hostel was perfect. Double room very spacious. Good hang out area, with wifi. Personnel very friendly.

Review 65：- The geographic situation : - or you have a car - or you take a bus to vecindario, the closer city - or you walk (45 min) to this city. - the environnement around the hostal is really not beautifull. just industries and stones. - There are some profiteers in the hostal, which were surely attracted by the (really) low prices.

Review 66：-the hostal workers are really friendly and the restaurant organise some events in the evening. - there is a pool (cold water but maybe is it better in the summer)

Review 67：There were a few things like no soap in some of the bathrooms. The room where we slept couldn't get completety dark. We couldn't close the window, so it was a bit chilly and noisy (because of the wind). But okay it's a good place for surfers;)

Review 68：Very nice and hepfull staff. We could check out late and hang out the next day. Good view. The area is very nice - though not so many things to do if you stay there longer. The place is a bit far from most things, with bad busconection but if you wan't to surf or have rented a car it seems like a good place. Good value for money. Cozy restaurant and a big pool.

This means noise untill 23.00 - 24.00h poor location, you must have a car if you stay here. 2 neaby restaurants, 1 local pub, that's it. not much to do (recreation room has tv and dart board)

Review 73：Not particularly " international !" as the language barrierwas a big problem ! Very noisy from the wind , roofs / gates /skylights and something banging all the time . Bar / eaterydifficult as no menu in another language , I asked and paid for 2 teaswith milk ,in bad Spanish , we were given hot milk with a tea bag in it! , as there was nothing else in Pozo Isqueiredo , just like a Ghosttown , and no access to elswhere , felt very isolated . The"entertainment " Which we knew nothing about until itstarted,was very loud in the room , and access to the outside wasprevented to us to get out for a cigarette , doors were locked , so ineffect locked in !! As we had to leave at 5 am to catch a flight homeprobably got 2 hours sleep due to this and wind noise! Think the onlypeople staying were ourselves and one other person , not sure he wasinto Windsurfing either .
