Review 1：Room position, mission to get to room so we didn't disturb an afternoon tea! Expensive for what room we had, not that clean, staff knew two people staying one set of towels! Wouldn't go back.

Review 2：Location all be it the room we were given was on the main road so didn't sleep ? Staff friendly. Breakfast really good.

Review 8：We were given a gigantic room with a four poster bed. It was fantastic to have an en suite that included a bath, there was loads of hot water, the hotel was quiet and very relaxing.

Even with the overdose of old fashioned, the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere,and the staff are so kind and helpful and are willing to have a conversation with the clients and take time with them. Many a corporate hotel could learn from that. Very handy for the centre of Beverley

Review 13：We very much enjoyed our trip staying at this traditional comfortable country hotel in the lovely old town of Beverley. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent.

Review 14：Tired & dated hotel, towels smelled damp, could have done with more than one extra pillow that was provided. Also had relatives staying at tickton grange which was cheaper..... Felt that hotel was overpriced for standard.

Review 36：Very tired tiny bedroom, stained sink & cheap 'flatpillows', I requested a ground floor bedroom as I have mobilitydifficulties at time of booking. Our room, number 35, was as far aspossible from the car park/entrance & was accessed via two smallsets of steps? The bathroom was mimiscule & had two steps up to thebath? There was less than 10" on each side of the 4'6" bed-not great access for the less mobile. Thank goodness I'm notwheelchair bound! Hotel was certainly not full so why put us in such aninaccessible shoebox?

Husband had to find staff member at midnight to come and sort door as huge draft finally friendly courteous staff member put a wedge under outer door to keep it closed. Also light bulb in same small passage/inner / hallway not working. Obvious faults should have been picked up when room prepared for us.

We left waiting at bar half served.Bit like Fawlty Towers comedy. However food ie breakfast very good and nice big bedroom clean bathroom

Review 40：Bedroom very dated, we had a broken window! Thank god for secondary glazing! The fireplace (lovely old cast job) was very dirty I felt like I had stepped over the roped off area in a stately home. Room was warm enough and for a two night stay was ok.
