Review 1：Room properly caters for two ie two chairs, room for two to hang clothes and put bags without tripping over them! Quiet at night; parking available; efficient, friendly breakfast service; busy use of bar by local people but not squashed.

Review 2：There was nothing I didn't like really and only two things were very slightly annoying. I found the shower cubicle a little claustrophobic. The second thing is Out of my 4 showers while staying there two nights, three out of four were warm / hot. One was freezing cold to tepid at best. Hence not being scored 10. But would I let this put me off a generally excellent stay no. It's not perfect but it is a great little hotel.

Review 3：The George has very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Breakfast was first class the black pudding was to die for. Portion size was good and flavours were excellent everything was well cooked. The bar area is cosy and there was a good choice of local ales. Comfy bed and good nights sleep.

Review 9：It was a bit noisy one night as we were in a room over the bar then woken early the next day by scaffolders across the road. Not the hotel's fault - just one of those things when staying in a pub in the narrow streets of lovely Keswick We could have done with a longer sleep though!

Review 10：Staying in the heart of Keswick in a traditional inn with easy access to pubs restaurants, cinema and shops was a good alternative when snow prevented our fell walking. Nice comfy bed. Food was good, massive breakfast!
