Reviews for Hotel Le Branhoc Logis Brit Hotel

Review 1:Very good value for money. We got a small room but big enough, and the bathroom was bigger than expected. Good breakfast, also much better than expected with a broad variety.

Review 2:Leaving, we felt so at home there.

Review 3:Location is excellent for visiting the Morbihan area, close to both local and national connections by car. Short walk to some great restaurants and scenic riverside paths. We asked for a kettle prior to arriving and the lovely owners provided it together with all the bits we needed to make ourselves drinks when necessary. Traditional Bretan breakfast was a great start to the day!

Review 4:only emergency lighting in hallway to ground floor bedrooms. Our room was at end of hallway.

Review 5:Nice gardens with seating.15 min easy walk to port restaurants.Nice ambience in Port Agustan

Review 6:Breakfasts were poor quality, compared to other places we have stayed in in France. Not good value, or appetising.

Review 7:Very helpful staff. Nice outlook on garden, provided you can get a room facing that way.

Review 8:Nothing really - the location isnt in the centre of the town, but only a 15 min walk away

Review 9:nice comfortable hotel, free wi-fi, free secure parking. very clean facilities

Review 10:Location good, parking available, staff were really helpful and could not do enough. Had a great stay but unfortunately we had to leave early and the staff were brilliant, would definitely visit again.

Review 11:We booked a room for 4 people. They gave us a room that was hardly a double room. The two additional beds made impossible to move around in the room. Also, according to the website, the staff should speak 6 languages, but they only speak french.

Review 12:Convenient location, near to motorways

Review 13:Room 26 has sloped walls, mind your head, motorcycle parking was onbooking.com free! But when we were paying the landlady wanted €18 fortwo nights. Until we showed her the booking . There is no restaurant inthis place , you have to go into the town. Twenty minute walk. Thetoilet also on our arrival had two less than half rolls of toilet paper.I could go on and on,

Review 14:Leaving, . The young man at front desk did try his best to help.

Review 15:nothing

Review 16:It was clean and comfortable, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. we loved the garden and being able to sit there with a drink after a day's sightseeing. it was an easy walk to the port where there are many restaurants and bars

Review 17:The one small problem for me (as a large person) was the toilet being very close to the wall. A very small point in an otherwise delightful stay

Review 18:Wonderful disabled facilities The welcome and care of the new managers The whole experience

Review 19:The owners are very friendly and the room was great value for the money. The hotel is located very closely to the city center, though, the distance from the railway station is about 40 minutes of walking (being a quick walker with backpack). however, there is a taxi stand at the station and auray has a bus line.

Review 20:On the outskirts of town and requires negotiating a confusing series of roundabouts. Make sure you map its location in advance.

Review 21:Friendly proprietors. For a two-star hotel, the facilities are nice and well-maintained.

Review 22:Some rooms are on the small side. No tea or coffee making facilities in bedroom.

Review 23:Good location , short walk into Auray. Hotel very clean and friendly. Lovely garden with sun loungers. Excellent breakfasts, comfortable seating areas.

Review 24:Breakfast very poor. A complete waste if money. Also we availed of an upgraded room but it was very small. Can't imagine what size the normal rooms are.

Review 25:Staff friendly.

Review 26:Nothing except my request for ground floor room was missed.

Review 27:Returned to hotel after excellent stay last year. Was almost as good after we got a ground floor room sorted out. (Someone had not read my request - I am disabled)

Review 42:Wifi password (too long).

Review 43:Staff with excellent attitude and helpful.

Review 44:We found the staff very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was really good and again the waiter on that morning was very friendly, infact we were able to have berakfast outside in the garden area which was a nice touch as the weather was fine and the garden area was very nice . its a good location with the very pretty town of Aurray very close by . all in all a great stay.

Review 45:Room was adequate but a bit small for our panniers.

Review 46:When we arrived we were disappointed as it appeared the hotel was away from the town. However this not the case. The helpful manager showed us a path which lead to the old port and town was easily reached on foot. The old port was very good with several restaurants/cafes bars. A good location for visiting Carnac and bay of Morbidan. There was secure parking for our motorcycle.

Review 47:Nothing!!

Review 48:Only stayed one night but was very impressed and will certainly use again when/if we return to Auray, which we would love to do. Comfortable and helpful staff particularly receptionist who offered to change our room when she saw I was disabled to one with a wetroom. We also appreciated the wide choice of breakfast.

Review 49:Tea and coffee facilities would have made this hotel perfect.

Review 50:Although limited French the owners did everything possible for ourovernight stay. Very convenient location. Beautiful gardens.

Review 51:I had asked for twin beds by email and when I got there they said there were none. However, I think it was a blip with our lack of French. They changed our room a day later. The rooms were adequate, but rather small. There was supposed to be hair dryers but my friend did not have one. There was no bar facility after 9pm. I think we had misunderstood the nature of the hotel in this respect. However, the staff went out of their way to help.

Review 52:The breakfasts were good, the staff were great, the hotel was clean, the garden was nice. There was good access to restaurants in the area

Review 53:Although there was a good, fast internet connection, it had to be logged onto every time rather than just the once.

Review 54:Really helpful owners, only a 10 minute walk to lots of restaurants on the quay. Brilliant shower and a good breakfast. Ample parking in front of hotel.

Review 55:No Tea or Coffee facilities in the rooms.

Review 56:The Staff and the Owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!!!

Review 57:Great helpfulness and cheerfulness of staff. Lovely, if slightly small room overlooking attractive well-kept garden. All parts of the hotel well maintained and clean. Very convenient for evening walk along the river to the excellent restaurants at the port. Location good for exploring in all directions by car. Car park large and well planned.

Review 58:The husband and wife were both kind and helpful. The husband went out of his way by walking us to a shortcut into the port area for dinner. This hotel really turned out to be a gem.

Review 59:Excellent helpful staff. Room was good. Location good for the Port which is great with lots of good restaurants and bars (10 minutes walk). Good breakfast.

Review 60:There was nothing of any significance that we didn't like.

Review 61:This family run hotel was exactly what we were looking for and we received service which was professional, friendly, warm and very responsive. We had no need to complain about anything which enabled us to enjoy a very relaxing holiday.

Review 62:Location was not as close to the town as described but had good accessto further towns by highway.Hotel room decoration is minimal. For a stay of more than 1 night a garden room would have been nice. Cleaning staff left full garbage bag from bathroom on table top.

Review 63:Very helpful and friendly owners.Good breakfast. Pretty garden. Room size is good.

Review 64:Nothing. It is excellent in every respect

Review 65:The proprietors could not have been more friendly and helpful. This really is a remarkably good small hotel. The attention to detail is quite extraordinary.

Review 66:The staff was very helpful and recommended a terrific creperie to visit. Even provided a map how to get there. Room was large and very comfortable and the petite dejeune was wonderful! All in all a great place to stay!

Review 67:Host couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, despite limited language skills on both parties' sides! Comfortable bed, good shower/bathroom, short walk to harbour and town. Easy to find. Good spot for exploring Quiberon peninsula and Carnac. Recommended.

Review 68:No tea/coffee in room and bar facility closed early at 9pm

Review 69:Lovely gardens ,small but very comfortable room with good beds,Breakfastexcellent buffet style. A quiet Hotel within 15mins stroll along theriver to the picturesque Port . Despite our lack of common Language thestaff were very helpful and always smiling.

Review 70:This is a real hotel. . a small family affair and they really take careof you. I liked the extra details and the easy comfort. The room wassmall but not tight and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyonewho needs relaxaion in between exploring the area. On the edge of townbut close to good eating places too.
