Reviews for Best Western Beau Site
Review 1:The wifi was sporadic at best. We were at the annex across the street from the main building. Since it was a vacation, it was not essential, but a bit frustrating.....certainly not a deal breaker.
Review 2:The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was very comfortable and the view could not have been better.
Review 3:It is so nice to be inside the walls of the medieval city, where you can park your car across the street, sleep in a good bed in a clean room, have good wifi, and eat in a very good restaurant at night. That is Beau Site. It was our second time there and we would return and also recommend it.
Review 4:I was in the modern part of the hotel in Rocamadour, which is across the street, the room had a lovely view. There was also parking there at no extra charge The restaurant was very good and the service accommodating.
Review 5:Nothing i can remember
Review 6:Excellent location, in the middle of the gorgeous town and beside the elevator to the Castle, great restaurant in front of it although a little bit too pricey. Place to park. Smiling staff. We got upgraded to a wonderful suite on the upper floor.Big lift.
Review 7:We don't use duvets. Please provide blankets. But thanks for the extra pillows.
Review 8:Perfectly situated in the middle of the lower (older village). A great, corner room with great views. The temperature controls worked - very unusual. The bath was enormous, the bed comfortable.
Review 9:Lack of toiletries in the bathroom. Only shampoo/shower gels provided.
Review 10:A characterful property in an excellent position for sight seeing. Convenient parking available outside the hotel. Dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is located opposite, was delicious, & service superb. We hope to return again soon.
Review 11:Nothing but remember Rocamadour is a one street town and is so unique it is busy in the high season during the day. but a visit is highly recommended.
Review 12:Superb position right in the centre of Rocamadour. Hotel in a 15th century building. Our room had a large balcony over looking the street. Great to people watch with a glass of vino in your hand. Free parking right outside, if the car park is full the staff take it to an underground car park below the hotel and bring it back up to the hotel when required
Review 13:Stayed 2 nights but only used restaurant once as menu remained unchanged
Review 14:Hotel is in heart of Rocamador. Terrace restaurant has fantastic view of valley. Good size bedroom
Review 15:the menu was rather expensive compared to other places we went to.
Review 16:The friendliness of the staff. The location of the hotel. Good car parking facility. The decor and good quality of the furniture
Review 17:Location, location, location. Large comfortable room. Nice terrace restaurant and a good breakfast. Even though the Hotel is on the main street through Rocamadour it is quiet at night and stays quiet until 8 isn in the morning. Centrally located in the town.
Review 18:Owing to mild winter there was an unusually high number of flies. Although the hotel had no control over this they should have taken more care to cover the food which was often covered in flies - not pleasant!
Review 19:Wonderful location in old medieval town of Rocamadour. Food in restaurant and bistro was very good. We were upgraded to a premier room and it was lovely.
Review 20:Restaurant looks amazing but the service and quality in the attached bistro needed some attention
Review 21:Room Shower and bath Bed Village location Staff great

Review 71:The restaurant is excellent.
Review 72:I would have preferred breakfast cost to be included.
Review 73:Very central hotel. Splendid room with lovely views of the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke English well. Hotel breakfasts were excellent. Private parking for hotel.
Review 74:Only lounge seemed to be a dimly lit cave behind the main stairs
Review 75:Fantastic location. Car park right by the hotel & staff moved guest's cars around so there was always space.
Review 76:Wonderful staff, especially the girl who ordered my taxi from the train station . Being a solo traveller speaking little French she was like an angel. My was lovely. Food at the restaurant excellent.
Review 77:Hope you could fix the vendor machine at the first floor.
Review 78:Perfect location. The hotel's restaurant seems to be one of the best restaurants in town. Very convenient for the hotel guest to reserve. I asked for a room with valley view when booking, and luckily got one, which made my stay perfect. I could see so many stars at night on the balcony.
Review 79:No complaints
Review 80:Great location right in the center of Rocamadour. The staff was terrific, who made us feel very welcome Room was quite comfortable with nice view. Highly recommended.
Review 81:The evening meal was served at a very rapid rate - we felt that the staff wanted to get things served as quickly as possible, which took away a little of our enjoyment of the experience.
Review 82:The position of the hotel was excellent. Our room was good with lovely views of the valley. Both evening meals and breakfasts were excellent in terms of quality and choice.
Review 83:Breakfast may not be the best value.
Review 84:Being welcomed by name when pulling up to park. Reception and valet staff exceptionally nice. Terrific evening dining. We'll add our vote to the "best lamb ever" chorus that seems to surround the hotel restaurant.
Review 85:We received a free upgrade upon arrival to an excellent valley-facing view, which we greatly appreciated. Thankyou to our very friendly staff who were kind, helpful and very good humoured throughout our two night stay. Rocamadour is very worth a visit. We were there off-season (in fact the hotel closed for winter the week after we stayed). Would highly recommend you do not visit in peak season as it is tight for parking and the village/church atmosphere would be smothered with tourists. Expect some slightly tacky tourist shops but also some fine local artisan shops. The views at both day and night are fabulous, surrounded by a very pretty mountainous hinterland. This hotel ranks equally with The Aletti Palace, Vichy as the "best" Best Western hotel we have stayed at in our 6 trips to France :)
Review 86:The history and ambiance of the hotel. Staff were very helpful when Iarrived in the rain and needed a parking place for my motorcycle.(Thejunior suite with a spa/bath was a life saver after a longday's ride). Dinner was very good, served by friendly andprofessional servers.
Review 87:The staff was terrific. The lady that checked us in showed us to ourroom, answered questions about tours, provided us a map and suggestedplaces for us to visit. She even lend us her personal tour guide.Everyone we met encountered was very nice and helpful. We had a niceroom on the quiet side of the building that overlooked the cliffs andvalley. Note: you may enter the village of Rocamadour through the verynarrow gate and carefully proceed to drive to the front of the hotel. There is room for 12 cars to ark there. When you arrive you think youcan not drive down the narrow street as there are so many people. Nottrue-just proceed slowly to the wonderful hotel.
Review 88:The dormer window in room 58 is very low, particularly for the person sleeping on the right side of the bed. I hit my head several times!
Review 89:The opportunity to stay at a good hotel in the middle of such a special place, with parking was one of my main priorities. The ambience and cuisine was excellent, not the most budget friendly.but for a special visit, such as my wife's birthday it could not have been better.
Review 90:Nothing.
Review 91:Great location right in the center of Rocamadour, with exceptional front desk staff, who made us feel very welcome. Room was quite comfortable with nice view.
Review 92:The welcome was excellent from the assisted parking through reception to the room. the facilities are very comfortable and well designed. The restaurant has a spectacular view and a terrace when the weather is good. Dinner was gourmet quality and the breakfast selection enormous
Review 93:Lack of tea coffee facilities in room. Went resturant, as stated in room details, for water, was given a bottle, but was charged for it.
Review 94:Unique setting
Review 95:We should stayed longer!:-)
Review 96:We were positively surprised with the hotel, location and staff. Everyone was so polite and friendly! I will stay there on my next visit.
Review 97:Everything was fantastic. Nothing we didn't like.
Review 98:An extremely comfortable, friendly, clean hotel in the middle of a very historical and beautiful country side. Value for money and is definitely the place to stay for the visit to the area.
Review 99:Very helpful staff from reception to the guy who parked our car. Clean comfortable room, perfect location, very good and reasonably priced food and wine in the restaurant.
Review 100:The parking was difficult since it was in the center of very crowded village.
Review 101:The room was very spacious and the bathroom facilities were excellent or a European hotel.
Review 102:The location in the heart of Rocamadour. The staff is very professional and courteous, nice. We enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant in the hotel: very well staffed as well.
Review 103:Bathroom needs cleaning as there was black mould round the bath and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 104:It was very pretty and central for site seeing
Review 105:Reception check in was good. Parking good. Room was really lovely, with large area to put cases in etc. we have stayed here before and would recommend again.
Review 106:Hotel staff very friendly and efficient, even to park the car. Location superb with great views, Meal on the terrace with panoramic views an absolute delight. Bedroom well appointed, clean and comfortable. We were so glad to be in the center of the town and can only say good things about our stay and also the hotel!
Review 107:The service and facilities are marked down to Poor for two reasons.Firstly, I made a particular point of telephoning the hotel to make arestaurant booking on the terrace overlooking the valley views. Thisbooking was not received in the restaurant so we were made to compromiseour expectations of a table. In fact as the restaurant was so busy, wewere squeezed onto a small and uncomfortable table. We did not return tothe restaurant for the remainder of our stay. Our second reason was thatthere were no tea/coffee making facilities in the hotel as advertised. So take your own kettle!
Review 108:We found the staff in the hotel very friendly and helpful.
Review 109:A lovely hotel in the centre of Rocamadour. Although in a pedestrian area, access by car was easy and I parked directly in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a large room which was very well appointed with a balcony and a great view. It was very clean and the bathroom had a jacuzzi. The restaurant and bar are in a separate building directly opposite the hotel's accommodation. The restaurant had a terrace with stunning views. The food was good and reasonably priced, and again the staff were friendly. In all, a great hotel that I would happily stay in again.
Review 110:The staff were extremely efficient and went out of their way not only toaccopmodate our special time of departure but also our special parkingneeds. We felt that generally the Service was outstanding
Review 111:Very updated with a wonderful medieval look. The parking, in front ofthe hotel, is very convenient. A huge room, very comfortable bathroomwith a jacuzzi, everything great!
