Review 1：The receptionist on our arrival could not have been more helpful. The hotel is perfect for a short 3 night stay - when you are going to be out of the hotel most of the day. The rooms are nicely decorated and if you want more space you can go for the superior as opposed to the classic room as there is a little difference in size of room and bathroom. The classic room was however adequate for us. The hotel is very centrally located and close to all amenities in the town including cafes, restaurants, boat to St Tropez and other resorts, free parking areas etc.

Review 2：Parking was difficult if you are driving and if you have big luggage there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage possibly even up 2 flights of stairs

Review 12：When we book a beach holiday, our focus is on beach, not swimming pools, fancy hotel bars, expensive furnishings, etc. this hotel was exactly what we needed! A 2-3 minute stroll to the beach, less than that to dozens of restaurants and shops, and the tourism office /bus stop. The staff were amazing - readily speaking English, accommodating to each of our several requests, even letting us store all our luggage, spend the day at the beach and then come back and shower at the hotel AFTER we checked out! Above and beyond! The room was spacious enough, meticulously clean, and had a simple, modern feel. Everything worked perfectly from plumbing to wifi to air-con. No unexpected charges or fees, and easy booking and check-in/out. This is not a fancy hotel, but it was precisely what they advertised, and perfect for us! Thanks for a great stay!

Review 33：Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Terrace room was very good. Safe, used the keypad after hours for exit and entry. Refrigerator in room was useful. Air conditioning was excellent. Lounge chair s and table on terrace was great. Very quiet. WiFi was awesome. We ate breakfast three times in the garden which was very clean and pretty. Safe in room was useful for our valuables. No extra charge for safe key. Supplied free beach towels. Emenie, was absolutely excellent, friendly, and would do anything to help. Wonderful scent in the foyer, lounge and reception.

Review 34：Walking up the stairs! We are in our mid seventies though and it certainly did us no harm.

Review 35：We must compliment the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Always a cheery smile and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a very central to everything. Breakfast in the garden was a feast in fact we could not finish it all but made a great start to the day. We thought it was very good value for where it was.

The breakfasts were plentiful and served in the beautiful garden, it made the perfect start to each day. We had a room with a terrace so could spend time just around the hotel and in our room it was a very special holiday.

Atmosphere was good, everyone was helpful, taking time to share with us restaurant ideas. We must mention the good service given at the Tourist information centre and there advise for us to take the boat to St. Tropez instead of driving, twas a great one, our day was well spent. Le chardon Bleu Hotel- room was very clean, Location: very central- close to the Beach (appx. 2 mins walk), Patesserie, Restaurants, Supermarkets and Shopping areas. It was so nice to have breakfast in a small cosy garden.Breakfast is simple but consists of everything one needs. Hotel islocated 100m from the beach. We had room with terrace. The latest Iguess was bigger than the room itself:) and was equipped by everythingyou need for proper sunbathing and rest (with a possibility to smokewhich was important for us). The hotel is a perfect place for people whowant to have a rest in a quite, cosy atmosphere close to the beach. Iwould say it's a family hotel of 3 starts, with staff (owners) attitudefor 5 start.

Review 57：Nice, simple hotel is near the sea, but sea in this area is very cold. It was changed our plans to be in Sainte Maxim longer. Staff was friendly and helpfull

Review 59：I liked the atmosphere of the hotel. A very friendly and smiley young girl greeted us on arrival - and spoke English! A huge bunch of lilies filled the front hall with a wonderful smell. Nice balcony adjoining the room overlooking the shady courtyard. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Excellent bed. Lovely breakfast in outside in the courtyard. Wonderful to be within walking distance of the beach - always a luxury!

Review 63：The best thing of this Hotel is that you get true value for your money. The hotel is small and simple, but makes up for that with excellent service, a very nice atmosphere, nice people and an amazing breakfast served with a smile. The hotel is located at an ideal spot to stroll into the village with many nice restaurants and you are close to the boat that takes you to St. Tropez. By car it is an hours drive to Nice and less to all the sights in between. Take the road along the Cote D' Azur if you like to see some nice Mediterranean views. Close to the hotel you have paid parking, but if you don't mind walking for 5 minutes you can also find free parking areas near the hotel as well. Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time in Auberge du Chardon Bleu.

Although, the breakfast cost an additional 9 euros per person, the home-made pancakes made it all worthwhile. The hotel is located less than 3 min walk to the beach and is 3 min walk from a variety of restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in a cosy, welcoming town - Auberge du Chardon Bleu is definitely a good choice.
