Reviews for Margaret's House
Review 1:We were upgraded for free from a double room to an apartment, because Margret had a cancellation. :) Margret, the dog Loki and the cat Hatschi made us instantly feel like home! The breakfast was made with love and was served on the terassse of our apartment.
Review 2:I was told in no uncertain terms that this was a bed and breakfast, not a hotel, and therefore the room would only be serviced every other day, and that it was my fault I had failed to put our towels outside in the sun to dry. (Dry towels were then provided, however.) It was also a shame that the breakfast bread was reheated and tough, rather than fresh from the boulangerie.
Review 3:Margaret's made us very welcome and willingly made the room available early, so that we could cycle to the Pointe du Grave and join the excursion to the Phare du Corduan without having to leave our panniers, full of possessions, at the ferry port.
Review 4:we were clearly recognised as tired cyclists who need feeding and watering and a place to sleep! The bicycles felt safe and so did we. The house clearly felt part of holiday France
Review 5:Nothing!
Review 6:Close to beach Short walk into town Homely, beachy decor Good breakfast (bread/croissants, tea/coffee, juice, yoghurt, fruit) Margaret is an excellent hostess - happy to give advice on where to eat and hire bikes, and offered us a lift to the train station
Review 7:Margaret is a very nice person and makes this place special. Good location next to the beach. Breakfast is a pleasure ! The Öberg family, Stockholm, Sweden
Review 8:Great to be so close to the sea. A quiet but very convenient location. Margaret was extremely helpful.

Review 18:The Bedroom had a wonderful beach theme, as did our private bathroom. We had a wonderful terrace of our room with an awning to shad us from the beautiful sunny day. Breakfast was served in the garden which was a lovely touch and we were made to feel very welcome by the wonderful staff. Margaret was a wonderful hostess and I'm sure we will return again. Very Happy
