Reviews for CGH Résidences & Spas La Reine des Prés
Review 1:we were kept waiting hours to check in. We were finally given the keys to our room at 6pm.
Review 2:Lovely clean apartment and spa facilities plus a great location and helpful friendly staff.
Review 3:Everyone left in the evening! No restaurant or room service and tricky wifi -but very nice if you are not working and lack of food had been made clear when booking!
Review 4:All amenities one cd want- hence 4 stars(French system!
Review 5:Hours of concierge outside of the weekend. Lack of cupboards in apartment for storage of clothes. I would want this for a longer weekly stay.
Review 6:Great facilities (indoor pool, spa etc) Good spacious apartments Great access to Grand Massif and easy drive in as compared to other resorts in the region. Friendly staff and nice touch for guests to pre-order baguette and croissants for the following morning
Review 7:Having to clean the apartment at the end of the stay and then have it inspected. It didn't make us feel very welcome!
Review 8:Having the use of the swimming pool. Staff were much friendlier than the last time we stayed there.
Review 9:Wifi speed could be improved
Review 10:We went there to ski with the kids. Superb location just 300 meters of the lifts, big apartments with 2 bathrooms and all equipped kitchen with good quality equipment Wifi is free but speed could be improved, staff are friendly and the hotel is beautiful Everything was good Would definitely stay there again
Review 11:Check out by 1000 on our day of departure was a bit early but the reception area was comfortable to wait in
Review 12:Excellent location, facilities and a warm welcome - would thoroughly recommend these apartments
Review 13:Wifi sometimes a bit patchy
Review 14:Apartment - good size Kitchen - well stocked in terms of equipment - able to do some more ambitious cooking Super facilities (pool, sauna, spa) Convenient location, being very close to Grand Massif Express ski lift
Review 15:Nothing
Review 16:Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and are a real credit to the business. Apartments were more than adequate for our stay and the swimming pool and leisure area was excellent.
Review 17:We had to go through 8 doors, 2 lifts and the underground car park to get to the pool. Kitchen was a bit lacking in work surface.
Review 18:Size of apartment was really nice. Boot room locker was good. Underground car park worth the extra.
Review 19:Poor layout of apartment. One bedroom had no cupboards, shelves or hooks whatsoever. Sofa was uncomfortable and nowhere enough comfortable seats for 6-8 guests. Only a capsule type coffee machine (no filter or cafetiere.
Review 20:Pool and spa were v good. Friendly helpful staff. Free parking outside. Great location.
Review 21:We stayed in a 4 man appartment not a lot of space & we were 2 adults & 1 twelve year old child ,also checkout very early Sat morn (10.00) with late transfer to airport bags were lying around reception all day & we were charged 5e /towel for us to have shower after skying for a few hours in morning before transfer a bit excessive after having paid one weeks rent.
Review 22:its location is very central with close proximity to both the Samoens 1600 gondla & Samoen village ,the appartments are very well equipped & warm with all necessary utensils ,linen ,laundry, storage ,car park, skigear locker ,Etc...
Review 23:Night life could have been better. We went off season just after new Year and it was difficult to find a bar open after 10.30 PM.
Review 24:The accommodation was clean comfortable and warm. The beds were excellent and ensured a good nights sleep after skiing. Kitchen was functionable but no more. Plenty of resturants to choose all within easy walking distance of the accommodation.
Review 25:The pool table was not working all week and the boys were looking forward to playing !
Review 26:Size of appartment was great. Only posative critisim is that they could make more of the reception area to bring a more sociable side to the apartments.
Review 27:Reception closes at awkward times for check out
Review 28:Beautiful surroundings in charming village
Review 29:nothing

Review 33:Nothing !
Review 34:Everything !
Review 35:Nothing important
Review 36:Apartment Swimming pool and Jacuzzi Staff
Review 37:Had a great stay, been here twice and would go again, in fact am looking at next year already :-)
Review 38:Oven
Review 39:Pool and spa,location
Review 40:Cold swimming pool. Had to register into wifi every day.
Review 41:Good value. Clean. Large rooms. Well situated.
Review 42:Would have liked to use the pool and Jacuzzi more often but too crowded especially with very small children. I would prefer if adult times were available - not just wednesday if u are on holidays and you are passed the small child stage you don't want to share leisure area with them..sorry ! Did not use spa - bit expensive !
Review 43:Location was really good for ski lift and shops - nice and quiet also. Loved balcony and views Staff very friendly and helpful Apartment very comfortable - beds and linen etc.. Kitchen well kitted out Worked well for us for familyl/skiing
Review 44:The owner/manager was a bit over zealous with his rules. He came over to tell us to be quiet when we were cheering Andy Murray on to his Wimbledon final win....in our own room - 4 adults and 5 children - at 5pm in the afternoon!! Not good. He came across as very helpful and pleasant, but don't dare break any rules....some relating to the pool were a bit ridiculous. It took a bit of the shine off the whole experience for us.(sadly)
Review 45:Beautiful complex, very comfortable and clean. It has a lovely pool and 2 Jacuzzis, 2 steam rooms and 2 saunas. Appartment good too. Supplied towels for us etc. The reception staff were lovely, helpful and were happy to work with me in my rusty French rather than their excellent English. DVDs, Wii games and the players/consoles all complimentary. High quality finishes in all appartments and facilities.
Review 46:The Reine des Pres has a system whereby only one person per appartmentcan be connected to internet at a time. This may have been ok in the20th century, but in 2013 - where all family members have smartphonesand/or iPads - a family appartment must be allowed to hook up morethan one device to internet at a time.Appartment was not really clean when we arrived. Floors had certainly not been washed.
Review 47:Nice and roomy appartment, good pool area, good location near thetelecabine, nice authentic village of Samoëns.
Review 48:Beautiful views from the balcony. Low rise building very close to ski lift and shop.
Review 49:Beautiful complex. The appartment was comfortable and clean. Nice pool and sauna .
Review 50:Kind staff. Pool and sauna are really nice and everything is clean.
Review 51:Long check-in and check-out. Had to wait a while checking in.
Review 52:The well equipped apartments and spa facility.
The Fine Print
