Boreham House in Herstmonceux is a luxurious Georgian property set in more than 2 acres of gardens and woodland. A full breakfast menu complements its spacious en suite rooms with free parking and Wi-Fi.

Review 1:Pulling off main road bit tight.

Review 2:Very comfortable, was hoping for ground floor with patio doors ,like in photo, Owners very nice. Bit expensive for 1 night. Website only booked single but was for two persons.

Review 3:Beautiful georgian house with very elegant rooms, bedlinen, towels and toiletries of high quality, really nice breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room, honesty bar, very hospitable and helpful owners that made our stay even more enjoyable. This is a boutique b&b and we would highly recommend it. The owners really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. We had a fantastic stay and we will return. Thank you very much x

They have worked hard to get the house and grounds to the standard they want. Sara and Simon are lovely people and they deserve to get a high rating because they don't do things by halves they do the best!!!. Really lovely house and wished we could of stayed longer.

Review 7:A beautiful property, beautifully decorated, extremely clean. Attentive and friendly owners. Liked the home made biscuits/cake touch and the lounge and honesty bar. Very comfortable bed.

Review 9:The house is really lovely with a large room and bathroom and very comfortable bed. The host are lovely and make you feel very welcome. I really enjoyed the fresh tea and home made scone on arrival. The breakfast is well cooked and delicious.

Review 10:The house is really lovely and very nicely decorated, located on a wonderful Sussex countryside. The owners were the perfect hosts. Sara even sent me an email with all the details immediately after our booking. And yes: very good breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Simply perfect!

Review 12:We stayed here for two nights following our wedding nearby. It was a really beautiful bed and breakfast, I can see why it has 5 stars. Very quiet surroundings but local amenities close by. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We only wish we'd had time to look around the gardens and use the roll-top Victorian bath!

Review 13:It would have great if the window in the room opened. This is more of a personal preference as I prefer to sleep with it opened, but there was a fan provided, so it wasn't a problem.

Review 16:We were searching for a little haven of tranquility and beauty, and found this upon our arrival at Boreham House. Sara & Simon were so welcoming, as was our gorgeous Ashburnham room and the Lemon cookies baked by Sara on the landing!! View from our room was perfect upon waking up, and dinner at The Bulls Head was superb.

Review 17:The road is outside front windows. Not a big issue. But ask for a rear room if you need absolute silence.
