Review 1:Staff correct but everything you need to ask for and you get the feeling that everything what you ask is a big problem. For example, I asked for a card with a password to the Internet. I did not get because, as I was explained, it's too much work for the receptionist, so I was asked to make a photo by my mobile. The location very close to the airport, but a long distance from the bus stop. I think it would be worthwhile to change it.

Review 8:Cold rooms on arrival No instructions to operate heating system Only the key activates heating system and we were issued with 1 nr only. Therefore had we not asked for another key to leave in the room while we were out we would have come back to a freezing cold room. Only offered one key on arrival despite staff been aware of the issue above. Floor was mucky with stains. Floor was laminate which doesn't given homely feel, cold under foot in an already cold room. Cleaners decided to clean room adjacent to room 101 (where we stayed)2 hours before our check out time. Only fire door seperating this room at one point in the wall so we were woken up far too early. No toilet brush in the En-Suite Food was average and overpriced

Review 10:Not Ramada's issue, but direction signs to Robin Hood airport from motorway are dreadful; this is the second time we've been caught out by them being misleading and then, having taken us miles out of our way, disappearing altogether.

Review 16:No lighting in dining area. If you moved closer to the bar to read then the music noise was unbearable. You need to get the Premier Inn beds in there. Our bed was not very good.

Review 21:I wasn't overly impressed by staff stood around leaning on the breakfast bar complaining about a colleague telling lies about a fellow colleague leaving early the previous night. I found that to be very unprofessional whilst I was having to lean across them to get my breakfast.

Review 26:The smallest issue was if the shower was on full power the wet room filled with water. When I spoke to reception they explained that it was a familiar issue with the building. They brought up extra towels so we could dry the floor.
Review 27:I liked how close this was to the airport, we were going on our honeymoon early in the morning and the fog rolled in thick and fast, we made a last minute booking so we did not have to drive in the thick fog in the small hours of the morning.

Review 29:Very impressed informative e mail before we arrived. Hotel clean, staff pleasant and plenty of parking. Breakfast choice adequate as at this time of year hotel not too busy.
Review 30:Bed well used and very creaky. Shower screen could be bigger to avoid whole bathroom floor getting wet. Wouldn't be happy to stay longer than one night as hotel a bit soulless possibly due to lack of guests in communal areas and openness a bit 'cold'. We were last ones to breakfast and some items hard and dried up under heat lamps - can understand this to an extent but would have liked fresher bacon for example

Review 36:Although near the airport I didn't hear or see any aircraft during my one night stay - which was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. There weren't many guests there on the night I stayed so it was peaceful inside as well as out. Plenty of free car parking was a bonus. Good selection for breakfast including cooked items.

Review 43:It was noisey from other guest's. General noise doors banging could even hear mobile phones vibrating in the nxt room. Cleaners outside in the coridors very early.

Review 51:Have never stayed at a Ramada Hotel. Was very impressed with Ramada Encore in Doncaster. Room was very comfortable, location was perfect. We actually had an emergency late at night with my 5 year old granddaughter and needed an ambulance. Staff were extremely helpful and considerate.
Review 52:I stayed here so that I could see XH558's last flight. This hotel is located on site at Robin Hood Airport. The terminal is a short walk away, and XH558 is a slightly longer walk away.
Review 53:Breakfast was same everyday and seemed as though it had been out for a while. We came back to the hotel on Saturday night for a few drinks and the barman said he was closing the bar for 10 minutes whilst he tilled up. After 40 minutes we and other guests decided to go to bed. He basically lost the hotel a lot of money by having a not being bothered attitude.

Review 56:Visiting family in Doncaster, stayed in hotel in February 2015 that's why we chose it again. I was on my own both times but my two daughters and their families stayed as well so easy for us to meet there. Large lounge area where we could sit and catch up on all the news etc. with a drink if you wanted one. Staff were very pleasant.

Review 58:Booking experience, we thought that we had sent personnel request direct to hotel, however this information went via booking.com. We asked in booking reservation for early checkin 11-12 am on day as attending a wedding in area. The Hotel did not directly respond to this requestplaced so on our arrival nothing had been put in place for this request. We were told by staff that it is not thier job to do this?? We should have contacted hotel direct...? Then why does it ask you to enter special requirements in booking request if this information is not implemented by hotel, asked for ground rooms and we were placed on 3rd floor, wife has a severe issues with hights. On arrival no rooms were available, so had to pay £10 fee to get a room, only one room provided at arrival and told by staff to check in on our return to hotel on our return at 11.30 pm. Staff did not have a room reserved for use so a standby room was provided, asked for two separate twin rooms and only got one.

Review 63:It was very close to the airport we where flying from. the staff where lovely nothings to much trouble. the bar was very clean as was the whole hotel, the rooms where very spacious and the beds where comfortable enough.
Review 64:The staff were not very warm while checking in or checking out. I could see members of staff sat down in the office looking at me, waiting their colleague to serve me instead of getting up themselves. The bed was very stiff and not worth the money at all. We did not buy breakfast but other friends in our group did and they were also displeased. Considering the uncomfortable bed, breakfast should definitely be included in the price so customers feel as if they're getting something for their money. Other members of our group also paid less than £58 and so there is no consistency at all. I understand it is a 'basic' room but I did not expect this to mean uncomfortable.

Review 66:Was very disappointed with the room service we ordered: the staff came with our dinner on an open try to our room by the time it reached us it was cold to eat and the food was just not nice at all for the money we paid. The restaurant breakfast was ok but the cups were filthy dirty to use. I Had to wash them with the hot water from the coffee machine cause there was no staff to assist. The beds are very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Review 68:Worst night sleep I've ever had in a hotel, beds were like sleeping on the floor, broken nights sleep including the kids, kept waking up every hour or so with back pain to the point we left at 4:30 and travelled home, the guy that checked us in could t really be bothered and never smiled, even other guests were commenting, will not stay here again

Being an airport hotel there's a lot of late arrivals and early morning departures. Don't stay here if you need sleep. Review 90:I was looking for hotel in town a week before a conference but most were fully booked. Ramada Encore is out by the airport but as it's on regular bus route, I had minimal inconvenience. You are surrounded by green, open space and abundant parking as a contrast to being in town . A comfortable, clean hotel at a reasonable price and I enjoyed the breakfast which was an extra £7.50.

I actually shouldn't have had to ask, I should have been told there is a problem but don't worry we have your email address as part of your registrations and will automatically send you a receipt. that would have been great customer services.

Review 97:Shower Gel dispenser was empty on arrival, but was replaced very quickly by staff. The dispensers used in the bathrooms can be very difficult to use if you suffer from arthritis or have weakness in your hands/wrists.

Some people came to eat at this time and were turned away.Seems ridiculous to close a restaurant at teatime.This was a very badlyrun hotel , although the staff on duty were doing their best. Review 109:I have stayed at this Ramada Encore before and, to be fair, it does seem to be improving. However, over my 3 night stay, there were still too many examples of the front desk being left unattended whilst staff "hide" in the back office. I enjoyed the restaurant food but the bar/restaurant service leaves something to be desired. On the final day of my stay, there was no housekeeping in my room (bed left unmade, etc, etc). When I informed reception the lady just said that they had had a number of other similar complaints. Not very promising!

Review 122:when we arrived it was clear by the duty manager attitude that they had a big party arriving and our two rooms were the least of her problems. When we asked if they did childrens meals i was told by the barman "we do a few but don't have a menu for them", so we went out to eat else where as clearly our business wasn't wanted as the coach had arrived at this point. people were shouting and screaming outside until 10.30pm when we did get to sleep we got woken up at 11.50pm by the incompetent housekeeping to see if we had left!! really annoyed about that as it woke my grandson up and we couldn't get him back to sleep until 3am which resulted in us having a very grumpy 4 year old in the morning and ruined our trip to the zoo as he fell asleep half way round. When I mentioned it in the morning as we were leaving, it was very clear they didn't care.

Review 130:Bed was uncomfortable. Room too small. Bathroom door was banging shut all the times . Toilet seat was cracked and wash hand basin drainage was very slow. No food order menu in the room when asked at the restaurant to send us one it didn't come the whole night and we had just come back from the race day had to sleep on empty stomach. Nobody seemed to know anything at the hotel or would make an effort to find out information. Phone lines were down for the whole day so couldn't use our phones in the room. Overpriced for the facilities and bad experience.

Worsestill the fan to the bathroom was faulty and was clunking most of thenight keeping us awake until 4am.
