Reviews for YHA Beverley Friary

Review 1:Limited parking, however it was adequate for my stay, I wonder if parking maybe a problem when the hostel is under more occupancy

Review 2:Very clean, comfortable. Everything I needed for a nights stay. The friary in particular is very nice.

Review 3:I loved talking with the volunteer receptionist, using your attractive and efficient kitchen & dining area. The grounds and building are beautiful; people were friendly. I traveled by bicycle and was given a secure place to store my bike at night!

Review 4:The local Beverley Minister clock bell sounds very often which is a disturbance to sleep unless wearing earplug/s. Apart from that it's all good.

Review 5:Staff friendly & very helpful. Facilities really good.

Review 6:no internet, when i had some business pending and other bookings, and library shuts at 5pm,too early to go on a day out and get back for it. bus and train timetables would be a welcome addition to the info packs.

Review 8:Centrally situated close to Beverley Minster and Beverley's historical quarter. Very close to Beverley Railway Station too. Beautiful setting of converted friary with original features retained throughout. The garden setting was very relaxing and plenty of free parking.

Review 9:Room dusty in places. No kettle in room

Review 10:Books, board games and lego to keep the kids entertained. Big bedroom. A light at the side of each bed for reading etc

Review 40:Being on the top bunk at my age having to leave by 10 o'clock on day of depaerture.

Review 41:The location and setting were both convenient and picturesque respectively.

Review 42:only sleeping in a narrow bed as I sleep like a starfish - but that's my concern and not really anything I was unhappy about!

Review 43:convenience, value, beautiful building and location - although that was not a securing factor in my booking it was justa bonus....

Review 44:Toilet was blocked with toilet paper and had not been sorted. But flushed after couple of times and unblocked ourselves. Shower room very small especially for families with young kids

Review 45:The old building made it for me. And the cheapness of the place. I haven't stayed in a yha before so was surprised I had to make up own beds and strip them before we went. Noticed that yha appear to be in lovely places and would definitely stay again as long as private rooms would not fancy sleeping in dorm. Only down side was originally booked for a for bed room and cancelled. And they stated I would have to pay for this. Blamed booking. Com when it was their head offices fault.

Review 46:Toilet small, so would be difficult if you are a large person. Limited parking.

Review 47:Such a beautiful place, wonderful building, recently refurbished. Great value for money, especially with a family. The lounge has books games and the town different shops and not far from the coast
