Reviews for Hôtel Astrid
Review 1:Very small bathroom, difficult to get in and out of the tiny shower cubicle
Review 2:Convenient location for the train station, clean and comfortable rooms, nice staff
Review 3:We couldn't pull up the blinds, so the room was dark all the time. Add the black walls and you get the idea.
Review 4:Staff was nice, room small, but okay, cleaned every day really well. The decor was a cherry on the cake. Made you feel special. We were allowed to check in earlier and the reception was always staffed.
Review 5:The is a high possibility that the room is not ready when you arrive During cleaning all the bedsheets and cleaning products were on the stairs, so you could not walk down the stairs being forced to take the elevator The staff barely knows english
Review 6:The room The location The fact that we had been allowed to leave our luggage a few hour more after the check-out The wifi works well
Review 7:The bathroom in our standard room was slightly on the small side, with little space in the shower.
Review 8:Conveniently located a few yards away from the station, yet very quiet. Modern and stylish design. Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing breakfast room opening onto the garden.
Review 9:Room door wouldn't lock automatically from outside. No free access to main entrance with digicode.
Review 10:Room well designed. 2 min walk from Rennes train station. Easy to park near by. Helpful staff.
Review 11:No private parking

Review 13:The room was a little noisy, because of the elevator and neighbors.
Review 14:The staff was nice and accommodating.
Review 15:the room was pretty cold, bathroom door doesn't close completely
Review 16:right next to the station, easy luggage storage
Review 17:the room is very small.
Review 18:the location is very nice and also close to the center.
Review 19:Only French speaking , not even a single word in English
Review 20:Very close to central station , clean good for one night
Review 21:No bathtub as ordered...
Review 22:Close to the train station, very convenient!
Review 23:No breakfast
Review 24:Good comfortable stay near train station for overnight between train and bus
Review 25:Front desk closed a few hours in afternoon.
Review 26:Very friendly, English-speaking manager. Right across the street from the train station.
Review 27:I love the Astrid, and depend on it when traveling in and out of the gare. It's literally less than a five minute walk to the trains.
Review 28:noise
Review 29:great location (near station)
Review 30:value for money, good location
Review 31:The location and the quirkiness of the décor in the room.
Review 32:Le personnel de l accueil un peu froid
Review 33:L emplacement' la chambre' petit dejeuner
Review 34:No door in the toilet, just a curtain.
Review 35:Very clean and nicely decorated. Friendly welcome.
Review 36:Nothing.
Review 37:Excellent location. Kind and proactive staff. Clean and apacious room. Reasonable price. Close to restaurant. Great value!
Review 38:The young french girl on the desk despite the language barrier , was warming and welcoming great start. Clean moden room with lush big bathroom.
Review 39:Wifi does not always work.
Review 40:Fairly simple hotel but ok to spend the night and very close to main train station. Friendly staff, good value for money.
Review 41:This is not a luxury hotel, but it offers a very good value for money. Its location is no more than 100 m from the railway and metro station of Rennes; my room (102) was small, but nice, clean and just renovated; breakfast, although not abundant, was good and reasonably priced.
Review 42:the lift felt shabby
Review 43:proximity to train station & city center which is very pleasant (most impressive middle age district, lots of affordable & good food)
Review 44:The staff was very friendly, and un-french like very chatty :). The hotel is very conveniently located, everything is within comfortable walking distance. Since the hotel does not offer any parking, you have to find parking yourself. But that is fairly easy. Right in front of the hotel you have a few spots and around the corner you may also park at the train station's parking garage. Overall, definitely recommendable!
Review 45:For the price it's hard to fault - lack of air conditioning could be an issue in Summer.
Review 46:This is a great value, stylish and comfortable little budget hotel with staff that went well out of their way to help. Not the prettiest part of town but excellent location for both train and bus (to Mont St Michel etc).
Review 47:we can hear every thing in our room, spacialy the couple in the next door making Love in the all night.
Review 48:Just near the main train station, but there are many homeless in this area.
Review 49:No bath towels in the room . Instructions for shutters would have been helpful.
Review 50:Friendly helpful staff, hotel easy to find in an ideal location as we were using Rennes as a stop over. Map of Rennes provided on check in and advice given when we went out to explore . Loved the idea of a key that had to be handed in. Breakfast was good value for money.
Review 51:Said they didn't allow guests to eat in their rooms, which is understandable to keep everything clean, just inconvenient. We were set up at a table downstairs though, so it worked out fine.
Review 52:I absolutely loved the reception staff, never have I met a friendlier receptionist(Patrick). The rooms were moderately cheap and newly renovated, they were great! Very clean!
Review 53:The room which we were allocated was far too small for a double room, and was only equipped for single occupancy (one bedside table and lamp only, etc.). We had booked (several months in advance) a superior room which this one clearly was not.
Review 54:Staff were most obliging and made a real effort to make up for the deficiencies of the room
Review 55:The shower was so small I had a hard time just soaping up and I'm not overweight by anymeans (5'11"/170lbs). The bed springs could be felt through the matress, but with the douve over it, it was ok. But the bed caves in toward the middle so a bit rough trying to sleep.
Review 56:The decor was very contemporary. The location was excellent being next to the train station. Everything was clean. Breakfast was good as well.
Review 57:Decor extremely dated, bathroom dank and wallpaper was falling down, very small room couldn't fully open the bathroom door.
Review 58:Good location, lovely reception area, friendly staff.
Review 59:Room was small and dingy and stank of smoke. Walls were paper thin so I could hear everything in the other rooms. I asked to be moved but the hotel was unable to accommodate this request.
Review 60:Nothing. Room was small and dingy. Decor was shabby.
Review 61:Pretty small and basic room - they use mainly pics of their hall/restaurant in booking.com, so the room itself remains kinda mystery and now i understand why. WiFi stopped working at some time at all. Lady at the reception did not speak a word in english.
Review 62:Perfect location just few steps from railway station.
Review 63:It is the second time we have stayed, this time there was a few basicthing with the room like the shower head broken on wall, both bed sidelights not working one hanging off wall. May be it is time they up datedsome of the older rooms. Not just the front of house which is excellent.
Review 64:Easy location and friendly welcome staff.
Review 65:Nice design hotel at affordable costs. Friendly personnel.

Review 70:no bathroom door
Review 71:Close to the train station and very good value for money.
Review 72:Small room - bed too small for 2! Must leave keys at reception
Review 73:Close to train station & city center
Review 74:The WiFi connection was very slow, sometimes didn't work at all.
Review 75:The receptionist was very kind and helpful.
Review 76:Room was hot. The bed sagged and we slept poorly. Heavy quilt on a warm night was uncomfortable.
Review 77:Pretty hotel with tasteful decor.
Review 78:Close to the station. Good for traveling
Review 79:Room was a bit too hot because the day was hot and there is no air-con. Nearby bar is noisy.

Review 81:100m from the station, really good location.
Review 82:The hotel was very well-appointed and had nice, simple, chic design. It was also very close to the train station, which was perfect for traveling.
Review 83:Internet connection on the 6th floor was very poor
Review 84:At the reception very friendly stuff, could better speak other languages
Review 85:The location is the great. It is 3 min. from Renne station. Cleen and comfortable bed.
Review 86:The actual room was tacky and too stuffy. Slightly uncomfortable
Review 87:Location and design of their lobby
