Reviews for La Bastide Bleue
Review 1：One of the key reasons for selecting this property is free wifi. The signal was either so weak or non-existent that we relied on wifi at restaurants and tourists spots during our stay at Gourdes because we couldn't use the wifi in the room. No airconditioning and heavy quilts on the bed so for a warm night there is no lightweight bed linen option eg sheet, cotton blanket. Sub-optimal shower with light spray at waist height. Presents as an 'apartment' but the table and chairs are useless because you have to move them to open the window and the windows have to be opened because there is no air-con. We are visiting from Australia and don't have phone coverage here. We were unable to contact the owner by phone. There is no signage for Bastide Bleue anywhere and we asked many locals if they knew of it and they didn't. We didn't have a street address for the key pick up point so we wandered the town uselessly for over an hour.
Review 2：We paid for various items that were not supplied such as internet, kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, bathrobes. Had to move the table to open and close the only window, very small space

Review 4：No air con, but still reasonably cool. Also a big church bell rings at 7am everyday just outside! But we suppose that's kind of what it's all about.
Review 5：Pascal was a total legend, follow his tours :) The location was absolutely perfect, restaurants and the town centre within about 10 paces from the front door.
Review 6：Pasquale who rents the place is a superb host, very welcoming with great tips on local hikes and things to do. Also recommends a great bar and a few restaurants - also warns you of where not to go which was a great help as everywhere we went was very good!
