Reviews for Roslin Cottage
Review 1:Sid & Lucy are just lovely hosts. Sid is a chef so breakfast is incredible! Rooms are lovely & good value for money. Just 5 minutes walk into the centre of Callendar. We couldn't ask for more!
Review 2:a bit far to walk to town, very small rooms
Review 3:cute original house, very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, sweet little town, very clean and new bathroom
Review 4:When we booked it was explained that the bedroom was small when we arrived it was tiny we couldn't pass each other around the bed,no wardrobe lived out of suitcase.
Review 5:The people and breakfast were great. The location was right for us
Review 6:No problems.
Review 7:Sid and Lucy are charming and attentive hosts. Although we picked the smallest room (to save a little money), it was fine. The breakfasts were outstanding. This was a great location to work out from--e.g., a hike in the mountains or a visit to beautiful Loch Katrine.
Review 8:La taille de la petite chambre vraiment petite mais confortable.
Review 9:Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Lucy qui a rendu notre séjour particulièrement agréable.
Review 10:Just bear in mind that you'll be charged commission if you pay by card. Having read this warning in the room, we simply withdrew the right amount from one of the cash machines available in town - no biggie!
Review 11:Everything was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom. The room was beautiful and full of character, with exposed stone behind the bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with spa bath. Breakfast was varied and abundant. Free wifi in the room. The hosts, Lucy and Sid, were really friendly and welcoming. The B&B is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area.
Review 12:Only that the TV was a little old.
Review 13:I asked for the owners to provide something a little special for my girlfriend. They were brilliant. Got some beautiful flowers and some champagne. The room was lovely. TV could do with updating but the rest was lovely. Food was great too.
Review 14:Wish we had arrived earlier in the day to explore more of Callender.
Review 15:Sid and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They gave our adult daughter information on where to go for an early morning run and then fixed a fresh breakfast for her when she finished. The breakfast was fantastic with poached pears and all of the Scottish trimmings!
Review 16:None
Review 17:Lovely room full of character. Super shower. A good breakfast with a huge range on offer. Friendly hosts who were fine when we rang up to say we were going to be a bit late after going to Go ape just down the road. Nice idea to give the wine voucher for the restaurant. It was well deserved after all our efforts!!
Review 18:The building is very close to the road, but considering it is an historic building, that's the way it goes.
Review 19:Sid and Lucy are wonderful hosts, and their B&B is truly a labor of love. The inn is charming, the room is well decorated, and the en suite even has a spa tub-shower! Sid is a great chef, and Lucy is so helpful with suggestions as to what to see in the area.
Review 20:Booking.com did not mention that there was a surcharge if using a credit card.
Review 21:Sid and Lucy were very friendly and helpful hosts. The B and B was very well appointed with lots of extras which were a nice touch. The traditional Scottish breakfast was fantastic!
Review 22:Just a little too far from town centre for someone with mobility problems to walk in and back

Review 50:Lucy and Sid were wonderful friendly hosts.
Review 51:Parking not adjacent - not ideal when arriving in the rain... The "small double room" is indeed small - worked OK but a hassle when re-packing for departure.
Review 52:The owners were always totally friendly and helpful; they served an excellent breakfast. The cottage is stylish and cosy. THE only place in our month's holiday to provide face-cloths! (Should be universal as it reduces wastage of shower-gel and hence pollution...)
Review 53:the room is a bit small, but as adviced it is only for short stay
